Anke’s cottage on Barra is a slice of heaven. Dubbed “Barradise”, the island’s beauty, wild yet peaceful, is breathtaking. We enjoyed several hikes, each offering stunning views and serenity. The cottage, while a bit cold due to the season, was made warm by Anke’s care. She provided extra heaters and a kind partial refund for unnoticed storm damage. It’s cozy, with a special charm and an amazing sea view, offering magical sunrises. Can’t wait to return to this cozy haven!

A great cabin in a wonderfull location, surrounded by mountains. Totally peaceful with breathtaking views across to the sea in the distance. Cabin is snug and warm, really comfortable and a great place to relax after exploring the local area. Karen is an excellent host- responding quickly to any query. Thoroughly recommend this cabin.

First time using AirB&B and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. The location itself is stunning and the Bothy itself is kitted out beautifully with all you could ask for (and more !) for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Taz and Julie have excelled in adding the personal touch to your welcome pack also which made the stay even more welcoming. If visiting rhe Mallaig / Arisaig area I would have absolutely no hesitations in recommending the Bothy. I hope to be back in the future. Thanks again Taz and Julie.

We recently moved to Scotland, and this was our first long weekend trip in the country. It truly exceeded all expectations and was the perfect experience. The house is nestled in an incredible location, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Isle of Mull. Waking up there each morning and gazing out at the scenery was nothing short of a dream. The home itself is warm, cosy, and thoughtfully designed, with a fully equipped kitchen where we enjoyed preparing our meals. It's clear that a lot of love and care has gone into making this place feel special. Everything was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We brought our two dogs along, and they immediately felt at home, too. The entrance area is particularly fantastic for anyone travelling with pets. Fiona, thank you so much for hosting us. It was an absolute pleasure, and we can’t wait to return!

Small, cosy and private but very well appointed and immaculately clean. The pod has got everything you need and Michelle had put a few goodies in the fridge. We had a lovely few days on Barra

The Isle of Eigg is very quiet. So this is a place to relax in and take lots of wals to the loively beaches near by. The property is great, clean, open and spacious with a fantastic log burner. There was plenty of wood and kindling supplied that lasted the whole of the week we were there. Wifi connection was good (important to me). If you want to eat out (there are essentially very few choices), I can strongly recommend the Guest House up the road, Lageorma, hosted by Sue who opens the dining area to non-guests. You must call in advance though. The food is all home made and exellent.

Such a great place to explore Isle of Skye from! It was quiet and comfortable and the sunrises from our bed were EPIC! The home was exactly like the photos show it to be and it suited the 4 of us perfectly. Kyle provided loads of information and so nothing was left to try and figure out. There is nothing that could have been better. We would love to come back and spend a week in the future!
