Beautiful home and excellent hosts. Always ready to answer any questions we had and popped by when we needed help Would 100% stay here again. The home is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The area is peaceful and perfect for a getaway. We was here for a friend's wedding, so didn't get to explore the area too much but the house was a great place to relax after a long day. Thanks to Robbie & Kelly for being excellent hosts.

What a super space. High standard of finish, everything provided which was great for me as I'd forgotten shower gel! Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Can certainly recommend this space.

The kitchen was fully stocked, and the living area was warm and inviting. Terence was hospitable and attentive, ensuring that our stay was as pleasant as possible. Overall, "The Old Mill and Cottage" is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Derbyshire countryside. I would recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

thank you hosts for being so responsive, for answering all my questions and requests with patience :) my family enjoyed their time there. my only nitpick would be some kitchen utensils were a bit dusty / dirty, and there was no hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult to hang up clothing. other than that, everything was as advertised and we had a fantastic and memorable stay.

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

Great host, will 100% book again.
