Recently stayed here for a long girl's weekend and it far exceeded our expectations! There were 4 of us and we each had our own bedroom AND bathroom which is really hard to find. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and the living room super comfy - we spent our evenings there just chatting and hanging out. You can tell that Andrew and Sara put a lot of thought and effort into decorating the space to give it a very cozy and inviting vibe. Lots of extra touches - the soft linens, sound machine in each bedroom, cute decor. We definitely intend on another girl's trip to Galena and plan to stay in this house again. Highly recommend!

Our stay was very well organized and had easy directions to follow. We really enjoyed the quiet cabin/lake weekend and will possibly be looking to return in the future, during a warmer month. Darrel was our host and he was very kind and welcoming. Overall a very nice stay.

We had an awesome experience at Tracy’s Airbnb for our girls trip. We loved the walking trails that were near and saw a lot of wildlife which was a nice surprise in the morning. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family!

If you're thinking of booking here, do it! The host was amazing and always making sure we had what we needed! The views are great! The cabin was clean and we felt right at home! The hot tub was splendid! You will not regret booking with the Eagles Roost!

Extremely pleased with our stay and really enjoyed being right on the water. Everyone was very responsive and had there been a need for anything I know we would have been accommodated immediately. Would recommend this stay to others and if back in the area, looking forward to spending time at millennium! Will point out though we didn’t care, other Airbnbs they offer are all in the same marina and you are within 50 yards of others. We didn’t have an issue with it but you’re not completely secluded per se but that shouldn’t deter you from this beautiful stay.

This was the perfect house to stay to celebrate our friend Turning 30. The house was immaculately clean very well updated looked identical to the photos. So close to town but felt so remote. It was the perfect chill getaway!

Loved the cabin on the bluff was a great birthday getaway and perfect spot to enjoy the lunar eclipse. Thank you for providing this great place for us and others to enjoy.

Book this property immediately! If you’re looking for a remote, peaceful property this is your spot. We loved exploring the property and land. Plenty of wildlife and farm animals to observe in the area. The sky is crazy clear at night. Great star gazing and an awesome porch to sip your coffee out on. Extremely clean and well stocked. Also not much to have to do on the “clean up” list during checkout which is always nice when you’re trying to get out the door with littles. In the area often and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Phil is so kind and clearly loves hosting guests and helping them feel at home. Cool decor, too!

Amazing spot. Not many places left on air BNB that give you so much included; tow cabins, allows dogs, all the amenities you could want, very clean and cozy. Host was amazing. Beautiful area. Will come back. Even bought a big bass (plus a few walleyes and pan fish) on the river just a 5 min walk through the property.

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

Beautiful property and with everything set up ready to use. It looks identical to the photos. The location isn’t far out of the way, but feels secluded. The train is very close and rather active and will rattle the house, which we were not expecting— would be fantastic for a train enthusiast. The outside space is AMAZING! The space is well thought out but not a lot of ‘spare’ inside space so take that into consideration if needed. Would definitely stay again.

A delightful retreat. A frames have a special charm and this one definitely stands above the rest. Excellent views & easy to operate gas stove made for cozy couch and reading time. This felt like a well loved home instead of a stale guest residence run by a rental agency, which always makes the experience more personalized. Kent was very communicative and provided plenty of detail about the space and its quirks. Would return again.

Great location! Quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed our time on the back porch overlooking the river. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and met our needs well. We so appreciated a quick and friendly response when we had a question.

This place worked out great for our group of 12 golfers. Beds were comfortable and the common areas were perfect for a large group. Highly recommend.

Worked great for meeting some friends for an Iowa football weekend. Easy check-in, comfortable sleeping, and we had everything we needed. Such a unique place with fun amenities. It was also great to have Club 76 just a short walk away.

What a wonderful place! It’s very peaceful and beautiful. The train that runs below didn’t bother me at all (I liked that detail) but my partner used the provided ear plugs. The views on the roads leading to the house were so pretty, we ended up stopping a few times to take photos! Very clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything needed.

This is a quality property: stylish, pristine, well-equipped and comfortable. Nice light throughout, good beds and a fantastic kitchen. Has a very private feeling, yet is less than a 10 minute drive from Iowa City proper and close to all the area has to offer. Hosts were welcoming and responsive to our inquiries. We hope to be back!

We had an amazing stay at this riverside cabin! The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful views. It was exactly what we were looking for on our guys fishing trip. The cabin was conveniently located near some excellent fishing streams, which made our outings super easy and enjoyable. The host was incredibly helpful and informative from start to finish, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

Deb and Bob are the epitome of hospitality. They met us at the door and welcomed us. Pictures do not to justice to the beauty of this property. Our group of adults, children, and a baby were cozy and comfortable the whole weekend. The property is amazing and we especially loved the hiking trails! This place is a 10/10 and sets high bar for all of our future cabin rentals!

This was the perfect place for a sister weekend with our mom! We all had plenty of space, in this well-appointed, clean, and peaceful home. We definitely want to stay again!!!
