Barb has been incredibly responsive all throughout. when I was stuck at the airport due to a mixup with my car rental,she stayed with me over messaging, with some really great alternative suggestions. From the freshly washed blanket on the couch, to all the snack options tailored to my preference, and the views...oh my goodness, just stunning and so peaceful! Barb just really went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed. I was given the perfect balance of privacy with letting me know she was there for any need I had. The home was lovely and uncluttered, cozy living room with the fireplace and a spot to set up my laptop and work in a private area away from the main spaces. I had every amenity I needed to live very comfortably. This was one of the best host and airbnb experiences. Thank you Barb!

I recently stayed at Ivy’s Place with a few mates to celebrate my 50th birthday and do some cross-country skiing at Larch Hills, and it was absolutely brilliant. This charming heritage home, over 100 years old, is full of character and has tons of space, making it perfect for a group getaway. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, which made cooking meals together a pleasure. The house itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to relax after a day out on the trails. The location is fantastic – set in Canoe, BC, it’s close to the lake and an easy drive to Larch Hills, making it ideal for both winter and summer adventures. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home, and it really shows. If you’re looking for a spacious, character-filled retreat in a great location, I’d highly recommend Ivy’s Place. Would love to return!

For our family ski holiday with 6 adults, Justin's place was simply perfect - even nicer than the pictures online. It was a great location for getting to SilverStar and accessing all the amenities we needed in Vernon. The house was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for eating in, relaxing, and watching the 4-Nations Cup hockey games! Really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the main floor powder room and laundry facilities. The hot tub requires some simple maintenance, but the instructions were easy to follow, and definitely worth it - nothing like a good soak after a day on the mountain. The walking trail behind the property was a nice bonus. Justin was quick to respond to the few questions we had and was always friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. No hesitation, we would stay here again!

Beautiful Heritage Property for a wonderful weekend with friends. Good communication, great amenities. Lovely hot tub and gorgeous living areas. Comfy beds. Superb for large gatherings.

Das gemütliche kleine Haus bot alles, was wir brauchten. Liebevoll renoviert und alt mit neu perfekt kombiniert, haben wir und sofort wohl gefühlt. Auch für den Wassrspass standen viele Sachen wie Boote, Rettungswesten, SUP und anderes zur freien Verfügung. Susan ist eine grosszügige und fürsorgliche Gastgeberin, sie hat uns perfekt betreut und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Zudem konnten wir im Haus viele Infos zur Familiengeschichte und zur Geschichte der Gegend finden. Es war erholsam und einfach toll.

Beautiful Airbnb with stunning views!! We stayed here and skied at Roger’s Pass everyday, I was worried the drive would feel far but it really didn’t feel far at all. It’s a very easy drive and worth it to get to stay in this beautiful Airbnb! I would definitely book here again. The apartment is thoughtfully decorated, has a comfortable bed, nice hot shower with excellent water pressure, and the kitchen is supplied with all the materials we needed to make dinners and meal prep for long ski days! 10/10 recommend!

We had a great time. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and lots of little extra’s like games and stuff for the beach. We felt safe and thought the unit location was very central with quick access to the pool and lake! Everyone we encountered at the resort was friendly and helpful! We would love to come stay here again!

Absolute beautiful place to stay felt right at home. Taunia was super sweet and friendly accommodating. Felt very welcomed by the little touches inside the home. Even the welcome, Christina on a letter board in the kitchen sweet touch! Would stay again in the future.

Very nice place in the Schuswap. Well appointed suite, close to beaches and other amenities. Beautiful garden grounds. A private deck for the suite. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Delicious chocolate chip cookies left for us to enjoy! Overall, a great place!

Great stay!

I stay at a lot of Airbnb's and always try to find unique and memorable spots. Just when I think I've found the best hidden gems a place like Shaun's comes along and blows the bar way out of the water. Every touch and detail was thought out with care. The surroundings speak for themselves but the space Shaun has created is outstanding. And Shaun himself is so friendly and hospitable, was able to borrow some milk for my coffee in the morning and he had it over in a flash. The cabin itself was quaint but clean and functional with much of the focus being on the large private deck. All the shared spaces have everything you need and create a great way to mingle with other guests. I got to have a chat with a very nice man who was visiting on a fishing trip and was cooking his catch of the day on the fire, he then later brought me a plate of my own, what a special experience. By far my favourite Airbnb to date. Will always make a point to stay here when I can. 10/10

Beautiful property with an adorable air bnb. We were passing through on a road trip through BC and booked the morning of - Nicole was quick to respond and was incredibly welcoming upon our arrival. Lovely property with very friendly animals and lots of space to explore. Very clean and comfortable space. Would absolutely recommend!

We had the most amazing weekend at Janine and Gord’s place. The location was breathtaking and the cabin was very comfortable. The extra touches made the weekend very special - an early morning canoe was a perfect start to the day, and it was fun using the sauna before dunking in the lake! It was lovely to chat to Janine and Gord and would highly recommend this place!

Vreny and Ruedi have created a beautiful oasis in the wilderness. The cabin is a perfect spot to sit back, relax and listen to birds chirping, the distant sound of passing trains and of course if you're lucky the two beautiful and friendly dogs will come join for a quick hello while you soak the nature in! All of this while being five minutes away from local grocery shops, grocery stores, restaurants and the lake. Vreny and Ruedi are fantastic hosts, they are kind, friendly and make you feel right at home! If you're looking for a tranquil place to disconnect from the world, yet be 5 minutes away from Tim Hortons for a coffee, then this is your place!

Beautiful surroundings with a fabulous, quick to respond host. Lake and pier wonderful, just across the road from the property. Driveway is Steep as described and an AWD or 4x4 is required to drive up to the cabin (room to park below & walk up). Cheryl was wonderful in assisting by bringing up our items upon arrival. Cheryl was also generous in accommodating our request for my friend's small dog, Sadie, to be included in the stay!! The space is perfect for two friends who want an escape to catch up!! My only note is, as a person with a fear of spiders, there were too many cobwebs in the cabin. Overall, an excellent place to stay!!

Barbara is an amazing host. The property and her neighbours are perfect. The only thing I’d change is it would have been nice to have lamps for low lighting on the main floor and the he bathtub was beyond slippery. I flipped out of it backwards and another struggle with slipping too. ♥️♥️♥️ Thanks Barbara for your lovely space and being a great host. We appreciated our time in the area!
