Second time we’ve stayed in one of the lodges and it was better then I remember so peaceful and Pollyanna is an amazing host helping us out with a high chair and cot for our baby!

Cosy and welcoming cottage in the centre of town, highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. The views were breathtaking, and the log fire added such a cosy touch—it made the whole experience even more special. The beds were super comfortable too, which is a big deal for a picky sleeper like me! A short walk takes you to the beach, where you’ll find an incredible waterfall—such a hidden gem. Su & Mike made everything so easy with detailed directions, maps, and super helpful information. All in all, a fantastic place for a peaceful getaway. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family looking for a relaxing weekend escape!

Great stay at sunset lodge, so good we extended it! Lovely spot within easy reach of some lovely parts of North Devon, nice spot on the site at Mullacott with good facilities on site, good food at the Depot and a small shop with essentials. Hot tub was a great bonus as well! All in all can’t recommend enough!

We stayed two nights at Little Avalon and it was perfect for our Gower getaway. Great location, perfect for hikes to Oxwich or a 10 minute drive to Rhossili. The local village of Reynoldston is also just a 10 minute walk away. The hot tub was also fun, albeit as instructed it does take quite a bit of time and effort to get the heat going! All in all, it was a fantastic retreat, Jules is a great host and we would recommend Little Avalon to others.

Perfect stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of walks. Mike was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area. The lake house was spotlessly clean and kitchen well equipped. Glad we brought all our provisions with us as local shops some distance away. Mike was very helpful with my elderly mother, very patient and nothing too much trouble. The highland cattle were an added bonus. If you’re looking for a quiet few days away then mikes place is the perfect getaway. Thank you for your kindness Mike it was much appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at Matt and Prus Sunset cabin. Lovely and clean, plenty of space for 4 people (adults). Very peaceful location. Well worth a visit. Because we went out of season all the places we visited were very quiet and plenty of parking. Sunset Cabin is the prime location for all the well known tourist towns. Be prepared for the very very dark nights! No light pollution at all. Quite incredible really. Unfortunately too much cloud for us to see the stars! Definitely worth a stay. 10/10 for Matt and Pru. Kathryn’s place was a lovely stay. Anything a visitor could need is all there in a single room. Well maintained and tidy. Easy to check in. Highly recommended to others especially couples
