We had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how much natural light filled the space—it was bright, airy, and incredibly inviting. The privacy and tranquility of the property were unmatched; it truly felt like a peaceful retreat nestled in nature. The space itself was beautifully remodeled and the comfort level was off the charts. We absolutely loved the neighborhood—it was such a fantastic location! We were just a short distance from some incredible restaurants, and the hiking and mountain biking trails nearby were perfect for us. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with gorgeous trees that gave the place a “treehouse” vibe, making us feel like we were living in a serene, upscale hideaway. It’s hard to put into words how special this place was—if you’re looking for a peaceful, stylish, and well-located spot to stay, this Airbnb is truly a gem!

Miriam was the best host I’ve dealt with. The place is beautiful and in a very nice and safe area. Everything was spotless in the house when we got there. It was a very short walk to a really nice cafe. She was also very accommodating of all of our requests. Parking is a breeze. I can’t say enough good things!

Large enough to accommodate our family get together ages 4 to 68 and Ozy the dog. Ocean view, heated spa, many board games & card games. Table tennis was a hit.

This was a great place for our family. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed, and the hosts were communicative and helpful from beginning to end. We really enjoyed staying here. Thank you!

We took our electric car to Civic Center. It would be 80% charged at 11pm. We could have left it overnight. However, when we explained to Dave that we tired and were unable to charge from our arbnb unit; he explained it was very old wiring and that he would extend the power from the back with a 100 foot extension. It was a trickle charge using 120 amps. Yet his responsiveness and the convenience was very nice. He was so enthusiastic after talking with us that he thought he might buy an electric vehicle with it a 240amp charger which his guests could use for an additional charge. I was so grateful later to be able to relax by taking a walk right out the door. The air and sounds of the birds were refreshing. Walking through a fence entrance to the parking lot/lake, I found a trail along wetlands to a newer neighborhood next to & looping back to our older village-like neighborhood. Our West facing windows had a direct view of the Civic Center Spire which I loved.

Perfect little jewel of a place! Location was perfect, house was appointed well, bed was comfortable, the games were a blast, and communication was great. Overall, very pleased and would love to rent again.

The cottage is adorable. We loved the potbelly fireplace, so cozy. The kitchen and the master bedroom and bathroom are fresh new and so comfortable. This is a perfect place for a single person or a couple. The 2nd bedroom has a futon bed which is less comfortable, but the room is cute and the desk area useful. My adult son used this room. He loved the coziness of the cottage so much, he said he would stay again.

We were four longtime friends who live in three different states in Marin for another longtime fiend’s milestone birthday celebration. The cottage was a perfect, cozy, warm and friendly environment for us to celebrate our long friendships and to prepare to celebrate another friend’s wonderful life. The proximity of the cottage to our friend’s event sites was ideal. Perfect weekend!!

This property was a great base for our family to stay while we spent time in Petaluma, Napa Valley, and San Francisco. The house was quite comfortable and the common space was excellent for family time. We even managed to enjoy the hot tub during the last week of December!

Needed a place for a few days… and fell in LOVE with this hidden gem!!! Amazing hosts- Lori& Mike are the best! They are friendly , helpful and inviting- while simultaneously giving privacy and space. Not to mention all of the amazing work they are doing in and for the community- check out their bio!! The accommodations were beautiful, peaceful and intentional. And CLEAN!! Every space well curated. Home felt like a hug- and was filled with treasures! Looking forward to a return trip!! Great location on the canal! The house had a sauna, jacuzzi, pool, kayaks and a paddle board. All the toys for an active stay unfortunately, it was too cold during our stay to take advantage of the water toys. We however enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi. We also had a movie night on the comfortable sectional and huge TV in the family room.

Courtney's house was a beautiful place to stay in San Rafael. It was meticulously designed, and even more tasteful and well-curated than we expected. It was everything we wanted for a tranquil northern California retreat. We've been recommending it to all our friends and relatives who need a place to stay in Marin County.

This beautiful home in Sonoma was clean and private. Great backyard. Our little dog is well trained and would never run away but near the garage there is no gate for people who have dogs that could escape without a leash. Rooms are all clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was our favorite even though we had no chance to cook. It was cold so never used the pool but would love to come back in a warmer season with friends and use the pool in the future. We loved how close we were to downtown Sonoma. House was very clean and beautiful floors in main house. Bedrooms had carpet but very clean. Great House!

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

We cannot say enough about this place. The perfect wine-tasting weekend! Exceeded expectations all around. We will stay here again!

We had a great stay to do the Sonoma Valley wine tasting with family that flew in from different States and found everything we need in the house. Our stay at Christina’s was comfortable and her home welcoming. Check in went smoothly. There was very little open in Bolinas so we explored neighboring areas such as Point Reyes Station.

This studio was beautiful and pristine with a large bathroom! The most well-stocked rental we have stayed at. :) Perfect for me and my dog. We enjoyed the local surroundings and path (Lynch Creek Trail) behind the neighborhood. Plus we were only 30+ min from the coast (a beautiful drive also). Definitely recommend.

It’s a very private abode even though you share a gated entrance with the owner. Barry couldn’t have been friendlier and had a great spirt about him. We nerded out on landscaping, tiny homes, and rivers. He sold me on giving the American River some of my time this year. I’d absolutely stay here again. The only real issue was the effort to climb down a ladder half awake. I did it in the dark so I wouldn’t lose my cat eyes and wake up too fast. There’s plenty of outside lounging areas and the views are pretty. I had a decent view of the night sky to the east and above. The town may be busy but you’re perched hillside under some great live oaks. The neighborhood was full of quiet families and quirky houses that are truly Marin County in nature. Open space trails are just uphill and the town is just down. It’s very convenient to everything.

We had a great stay! Cynthia was very responsive and helpful before and throughout the stay. We had plenty of information about the house, what was needed from us, and the house was stocked with everything we could need. The location is amazing! Very easy to walk to the beach, and we loved the feature of the warm water shower at the home to clean up before entering.

We had a great and peaceful weekend. Conveniently located if you're looking to go between Point Reyes Station and Fairfax. It's a private and quiet spot with a stream running through it—imagine the soothing sounds of a babbling brook in the background.

The most beautiful views and birds! We loved our stay and would love to come back. The beds were so comfortable. Our toddler did not want to leave and loved the independence of the fenced backyard. It was a close walk into town where there are a few short hiking trails. Overall a great central spot for all the area has to offer. No direct access to any major trails from the house itself.

The cottage is a lovely little home and a very comfortable place to stay. The private patio was a bonus, as was the surrounding community. I enjoyed morning walks with my dog Luca as well as the sounds of nature that were ever present. I strongly recommend Jeri's cottage.
