Sara was the one of the most welcoming and generous Airbnb hosts we’ve ever had. The home was immaculately clean, her instructions were detailed and gave us all the info we needed, her communication with us was kind and prompt, the hot tub was clean and cozy. Sara gave us lots of referrals for local shops and restaurants, and she provided a thoughtful welcome gift. We were also impressed with/grateful for Sara allowing our dogs to relax on the couches! We were particularly appreciative that Sara was completely understanding about/accommodating of our reactive dog, which put us at ease and helped us enjoy our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and cute, and we were very close to a beach for our dogs. Thank you Sara for an excellent weekend getaway! We can’t recommend you and your home enough!

The beach cottage was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, blocks away from the beach and boardwalk, and the cottage itself was clean / homely. Would definitely stay here again next time our family takes a trip to Santa Cruz.

'Our Mother's House' was really cozy and convenient to everything. The kitchen was well-stocked (don't keep sweets out on the counter...Sean warned us ants would find them). The beds were all super comfortable... we slept great. Such a quiet neighborhood. Yes, there is still construction going on next door and there is a soft hum of a generator...I'm usually bothered by noise...but not this at all. Really appreciate the provided whole coffee beans and grinder...so nice to have the smell and taste of wonderful coffee in the house. For the chilly weather, the living room fireplace was a delight. A quick flip of the switch and instant heat and ambience. For our family of 3, this cottage was the perfect size and always a welcome sight when we finished days of exploring everything this beautiful area has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is a true gem - perfect for that peaceful and serene getaway! The ocean views are breathtaking all day long, but especially at sunset. You access the beach or walk the "loop" from Hidden Beach to General Clement Harts or Seaview Trail (referencing Google Map names) or the other way around - both are about a 10min walk from the house, and the full loop walk is approx. 1hr. You can also get to Sanderlings Restaurant (at Seascape Resort) by walking on the beach (from Hidden Beach turn left) and it's about a 30min walk. Perfect for lunch! Or you can walk to Venus Kitchen or Pixie Deli (from the Seaview Trail) and that's about a 40min walk. The beach and the neighborhood are extremely dog friendly - our dog was in heaven! Katcha and Rich (onsite) were very responsive and took care of everything to ensure that our stay was comfortable! The cottage has everything you need - you will not go wrong staying here - we're already looking for our next visit to Aptos!!

We had a fantastic family getaway and did not want to leave; we will definitely book again. The location is absolutely perfect, the house is exactly as described, super clean, fully stocked, and very comfortable. Ann was great and super responsive....5 stars all the way around.

Very beautiful spotless place. Very responsive host and easy to communicate with. Have everything that you need to cook if you want to. 5 minutes walking to the beach but peaceful neighborhood. We are definitely come back and stay here if we ever come back to Santa Cruz

Our 5 day stay was great. Felt right at home. Great location w an amazing view. Place was nice and clean. We found beach gear as well that’s provided by the host. We were greated with complimentary snacks and bottled bubbly water. Kitchen had everything needed to cook if need be. We will definitely be coming back once the opportunity comes around.

We stay at Seascape a couple of times a year, we love the location: beautiful beach walks, pools and hot tubs, walk to the market, and then just a quick drive to Capitola, downtown Santa Cruz, or even the boardwalk. This particular rental was lovely and very homey. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is well appointed, there are two nice balconies- one with a great table that is perfect for cocktails or coffee. There are two pullout couches, which made the living room so fun to watch movies with the teenagers. More than anything, we appreciated the very accommodating host, who was kind enough to let us check in early so that we could leave our bags while we went shopping downtown. It was really a lovely stay. I recommend both Seascape, and this particular rental, very highly.

Janice is the absolute most friendly, considerate and responsive host we have ever experienced. The place is beyond heaven- views of the pool and hot tub as well as ocean views out almost every window. The place is well stocked for cooking great meals and being able to really feel at home. Seascape is perfection- fire pit at night, peaceful and quiet property, absolutely amazing amenities and scenery from a dream. The walking path along the ocean is fabulous- 10 minutes to Seascape Beach and 10 minutes the other direction to a park and playground overlooking the ocean. There are benches everywhere for you to just have a rest and take it all in. The grounds and her home are both incredibly clean and well cared for. We will certainly be staying again soon!

Lovely spot right on the beach. Perfect location to explore Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. The place has a nice layout and was great for our group (4 adults one child). The community is great, very quiet and private. The reclining chairs and couch were super comfy, as well as the memory foam mattresses. Erin was very proactive and helpful with our questions. Great find and enjoyable stay.

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

Fantastic secluded condo community. The unit is right on the beach with a big picture window looking out on the Pacific with ever-present sounds of the surf. One of the best places for a quiet family vacation. Monterey/Cannery Row/Aquarium are only a 20-munite drive. Would stay there again.

The place is great! Beautiful location and great access to private beach. It’s one room as described, equipped kitchen and dining. Although it says for 4 people, 2 people have to use the sofas to sleep. Good for couple and 2 children. I would definitely recommend this place and location.

I cannot stress enough how terrific Jo’s home is. From floor to ceiling the place was immaculately clean. Beautiful views from almost every room. Furniture is comfortable and cozy. Beds great. Bathrooms well equipped. The kitchen and dining room want for nothing. Kitchen is equipped with everything any cook might need, I mean everything! Beautiful glasses, dishes, serving items and cloth napkins! And it is all so organized. All and all a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. We hope to come back sometime.

We absolutely loved this home and will definitely be back! I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. The home itself is beautiful, well stocked with everything you might need, and very clean with the most beautiful view! Mel was so helpful and friendly, she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. My daughters loved the bunk beds and we were so impressed with how well everything was arranged to make use of the space. We never once felt cramped despite being a family of four. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer available and the decks were beautiful. The location is amazing! There is so much to see and so many great restaurants to eat at. Thank you very much for sharing your lovely home with us Mel!

This is our second stay at this property. We occupied two units. There is always plenty of space, and it was clean and ready to go. We enjoyed the little details: plush towels, the “nice” TP, etc :) Thanks for hosting us - we’d come back if you’ll have us.

We spend a family weekend with kids and we had a wonderful time. The house is in a peaceful community and almost right on the beach. The kitchen and home in general was well furnished and equipped, and the kids had a blast with the house and beach toys..

Thank you for sharing your beautiful place, we had most relaxing and joyful Christmas!! Although it was raining and could not use outdoor sitting at all, it didn't stop us from enjoying beach and spectacular sunsets through clouds !! Just Amazing! Can only imagine how lovely it will be on warmer and clearer days. Your place was perfect to unwind and enjoy nature and ocean. Wishing you best always!

We really enjoyed our stay at Marc’s lovely beach rental. Everything was as described, Marc sent clear messages regarding check in and necessities provided. Location was central to a lot of the day trips we had planned, (Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel/Point Lobos, and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk), but still off the beaten path offering a restful private retreat. My daughter enjoyed riding her bike around the pond path. Marc offered a very nice assortment of beach gear and toys. The beds were better than most, and I appreciated the queen/twin combo room instead of a typical twin/twin offering in the second bedroom. I really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, sharp knives and pantry basics. In the future I would pack a few pans since the non stick cookware was pretty beat. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

This resort is somewhere to go to get awayrom the chaos of city life and just walk along a beach and sit and contemplate life.

Lovely spot! So easy to access and felt very private and matched the photos perfectly. The check-in process was seamless and made for an easy arrival after our long journey. Kitchen is well appointed and has everything you might want for an easy breakfast or something more elaborate. Access to the beach was even easier than we envisioned - it was so close. Loved having morning coffee on the deck, overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves crash against the shore. Also loved the heated floors in the primary bathroom upstairs - nice touch!
