This was an absolute gem of a property! A well kept cozy farm house with picturesque views all around. A lovely welcome basket of treats was provided upon arrival! Incredibly priced for the size of the home as well as being very clean. Our favorite feature of the house was the wood burning fireplace- ending the evening around the fire was a perfect way to close out each day! 10/10 property.

This place was everything we expected and more!!!! The view, the river, the peace and quiet cannot be overstated. This place is truly an escape from the city. Our family met up here from all over. Print out and study your maps! We got lost but ended up getting help from a kind neighbor and had quite an adventure.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at James Airbnb, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the charming ambiance of the property. The lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere made it a perfect getaway for our family and was extremely kid Friendly. We traveled with 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room for everyone. The accommodation was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy for us to prepare family meals, and the cozy living area was a great spot for us to unwind together after a day of exploring. The thoughtful touches throughout the space, from extra blankets to games for the kids and stocked snacks made this very convienent for our family. Plenty of local restaurants near by and a ton of activities for everyone. We will be booking another Stay, Highly recommend !!!

Howard was a fantastic host. The house was exactly as described and they even went the extra mile to have a little Christmas tree in the house for us. It was comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed for a visit with family. Howard was a great and timely communicator and we would definitely stay with them again. Thank you very much!

This was the perfect stay for rest and relaxation! Check in was easy and getting there was no problem! The house was very welcoming and cozy, perfect for our family of 4! We loved all the bathrooms and the showers were sooooo nice!

We look forward to coming back. Quick drive into Morgantown for events.

Patty is a treasure. If you stay here, make sure you’re good to her! She has some rescued Dalmatians named Mickey and Minnie that will talk to you as you walk up and down the stairs, but if you’re a dog person like me you’ll just talk back some haha. I loved everything about Patty’s place, and it gave our drummer a spot to catch some more than needed rest. He was able to sleep for a whole day because of how comfortable and peaceful this place is. There’s some good food at the restaurant right on the corner, and a gas station nearby, which was really nice. Patty was very responsive and a great communicator. We talked for a good half hour or so on the porch and I enjoyed every minute! For the price and how close it is to Morgantown you cannot beat this place. It is SO much better than staying in the city! We’ve done both, and now we will be paying Patty a visit every time we are in the area!

This was the perfect little getaway for me! I just wanted a cozy place to relax, read and enjoy a hot tub and that’s exactly what I got. Bonnie was so sweet and accommodating. Very responsive and helpful! I will definitely be back

Barbara and Vince were terrific. First stay but won't be our last. Went to WVU football game which was the only downside of the entire weekend as no Country Roads was sung on this day! Barbara was extremely thorough in her communications and willing provided some insights into nearby restaurants. She went above and beyond to accommodate us (thanks for the Soy Milk!) and we were happy we could actually meet both her and Vince and their pooches in person. Space is terrific, very large bedrooms, nice living area with kitchen, table and TV and an full equipped exercise room! Road to the house is very narrow so would recommend taking it easy in case you hit oncoming traffic but other than that could not have had a more enjoyable weekend with perfect accommodations. Some nice restaurants nearby as well as Cheat Lake. About 10 to 15 minutes to Morgantown for WVU activities. Almost hate to leave a review so we can keep this our little secret! Thank you again Barbara and Vince!

It was lovely staying in this beautiful Victorian house! Cindy and Vicky were both very helpful for my stay and answering any questions I had. It was a lovely, peaceful stay!

Jesse's apartment is a great place for a couple looking for some peace and quiet but still close to campus. We brought an air mattress for our young daughter since couch is not pull-out bed and had plenty of space to set it up. Grounds by the creek were perfect to walk our dog, and we enjoyed a 3-mile hike just down the road on the WVU Woodlot/Baker's Ridge trails. Neighbors were quiet, even on a Saturday night, which we appreciated!
