We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

It was my second stay at Flamingo House. And, the second was as fabulous as the first. Immaculate/ comfortable/well-equipped home. The neighborhood is quiet with extremely well kept/maintained homes and yards. The back yard opens onto a small farm with friendly horses who visit on a regular basis. You can't go wrong and will absolutely love a stay there!

The house is great. Very spacious and clean. Just a heads up the pool is not heated. To their credit, they don’t advertise a heated pool, which was my mistake. Overall the house is a lot of fun and we had a great time. There is not a ton to do in the area, but is a quick drive to neighboring excursions. Great place for larger families and would stay again.

It was definitely an older house with minor blemishes but very well maintained and while the handyman was fixing the shower I noticed a broken metal flashing by the sliding glass door leading in from the pool and told the kids to be careful. He overheard and fixed it too! The pool was very nice and the layout of the house and yard was great. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I love nature so this was absolutely the perfect fit for us. It is magical. Waking up for the sunrise and seeing all the birds/alligators/ beautiful views. This house is also the perfect location- right next to rainbow springs, crystal river, silver springs- where you can rent kayaks and see the beautiful water and manatees! Matt provides kayaks at his house as well which we took advantage of. When we weren’t out, we loved using the amenities of the house- hot tub, grill, dart board. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at the house. Matt was also very responsive and gave us great advice on where to eat, where to hike, and what to do. We would come back!

We found Warren to be exceptionally quick answering any questions. Our whole experience was very positive from the time we reserved it to the time we left. Our ten week stay was memorable.

We stayed with at Tom's place for one month. It is on the second level but easy access. Street noise is noticeable as the music from the local favorite, Brians Place. Music is not excessive loud and usually done by 11 PM (only weekends). Cleanliness was very good, except 3 unwashed dishes, the previous renters put back in the cabinets. It is a very nice unit. anand spacious

Steve was a wonderful host and his place is just amazing! The area is so picturesque - gorgeous, peaceful horse farms everywhere. The apartment was immaculate and so well-appointed. Very spacious with room to unpack and truly feel right at home. I loved the double closets in the bedroom which allowed more than enough room to unpack everything and lovely spacious bathroom (double vanities) also with great closet and storage space. The kitchen was perfect, finished with everything you might need, and the living room area was comfortable, homey and nicely decorated. I really appreciated all the special touches, lighting, amenities that made it so easy to settle in. My dog and I loved walking the property and surrounding area every day. Steve was so helpful and accommodating as I extended my stay twice and he went out of his way to be helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - it's a dream spot!

Williams place is in a wonderful spot, barely 5 minutes behind plant street, and right next to a small park on Lake Apopka. The proximity to great restaurants, and activities is a huge plus. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I absolutely loved the location of the historical home - it was so convenient with easy parking available. The cleanliness and organization of the home truly impressed me, and the thoughtful amenities like snacks and water were a really nice touch. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was extremely responsive to any questions we had. But the highlight for me was definitely the amazing shower - it was even better than what you'd find at a 5-star hotel! We had such a great time during our stay and can't wait to come back. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed, we like it so much. Gary and his family are great, we love playing with the kiddos! The location is perfect, whether you want to enjoy sitting on the dock and watch the sun rise and set or leave your boat in the water to go fish every day. This is where we plan on staying our next visit to Harris Chain!!

Regina was an amazing hostess, including giving us homemade chicken salad. The unit was exactly as described. The location was great and easy to get to the many activities in the area. We would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay! The apartment is cozy and looks just like the photos. It’s nestled in the trees and you have a view of a lake from the living room and bedroom. It feels like a little getaway, yet it’s waking distance from the Ocala downtown square. The place is clean and we appreciated the various teas and coffee. Joyce is a great, responsive host. We’ll be back!

This place was amazing and not far from anything. Place was clean, private, very peaceful. The bed was to die for and like sleeping on a cloud. Definitely a gem to be had whether visiting Disney or diving the lower springs. Restaurants were very close by. Courtney was an amazing host and an amazing place

Monica is a wonderful host. She was responsive and caring during a difficult time for my family (death of a loved one). The place was in great shape and was exactly what I needed and conveniently located to where I needed to be in Ocala. Kitchen provided needed appliances, amenities and supplies where required. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean with necessary linens and supplies. Ample closet space if you are traveling with more than just a carryon. Note to anyone reading this - know that the bedrooms are on the top floor, so climbing stairs are required. Consider this when booking. Thank you Monica for the use of your place.

This little house was adorable. Due to previous storms, everything inside is practically new. The entire house was comfortable,.. sofa, bed, lighting, plenty of towels, and the little deck area was cute. It is convenient to many eating establishments, basically five or six miles into town, or to a couple of small beach areas. We had fun swimming and snorkeling with manatees. It was a good home base.

I absolutely love this Air BnB! I love the host! I’ve stayed here twice! I always check to see if this place is available when I book a trip to Crystal River! And I get super bummed if its booked! I really love it!! Clean, responsive, away from the hustle and bustle but definitely close enough to enjoy the springs!

Peaceful and scenic. Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable seating and bed. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Right down the road from the marina is a huge bonus! Hope to stay again.

Overall a good stay! The pool is right by the duplex. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach in the gulf coast is super close. It was easy to get into town. The surroundings are beautiful and it is out in nature, shy of a small part of a marina/storage area all you can see from the back porch is beautiful marsh. That does however come with an abundance of No See Ums and they are aggressive: bring baby oil and bug spray. The places is smaller but would be good for a couple. WiFi was great and was able to work easily in the network. Again excellent spot. One last thing, a surprising amount of outside light coming in at night even with the blinds closed so if that is something that bothers you definitely recommend an eye mask.
