Barbara & Gordon's place was absolutely delightful. We spent 3 nights there and could just about peel ourselves away from the fabulous balcony to check out Nelson and Abel Tasman Park. Barbara had left breakfast essentials and asked us what kind of milk and bread we would like. The house is full of charming historical items linked to their family history in Nelson. Because they missed us on arrival Barbara and Gordon made a point of calling in on us on one of the days. They are a lovely couple with interesting travel stories to tell. Absolutely book this place if you get a chance.

We loved our stay at Pam and Alistair's Airbnb. The place is cozy, nicely decorated, and has all the amenities you could need. The breakfast supplies were a lovely touch and we appreciated the friendly greeting and great recommendations for the area. Thank you for your warm and generous hospitality :)

We were so fortunate to have found Chris’s place. It is beautiful, well laid out, with incredible views. We were lucky to be able to extend our stay for an additional night, as it was super late the night we arrived and we wanted an extra day to explore the area. Chris is super responsive and friendly and had no problem with our arrival at midnight - he left lights on and his clear instructions made it easy to get in. The bed is comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet, and the outdoor spaces are an added bonus. It’s a little bit of a drive down windy streets to get to town, but well worth that trade off. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Dennis and Sue were amazing hosts. They were on hand to answer all our questions, but were very respectful of our privacy. There was ample space for 2 people and it was lovely to spend some time in their garden. We really appreciated all their assistance and it was a real treat to have a local bottle of wine and some home-made shortbread to enjoy.

Wir sind seid 3 Wochen in Neuseeland unterwegs. Maria und Frank waren bisher die besten Gastgeber.Sehr freundlich und sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen. Wir hatten in unserer schönen Unterkunft einen separaten Eingang mit angrenzender Küche. Der Garten von Maria war einfach toll. Es blühte in allen Ecken. Jaquetta is a friendly and excellent host and her space is homely, comfortable and well-eqipped, located in a fantastic part of Nelson. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will happily stay again!

I have stayed in many Airbnb‘s, and I think this one races my number one favorite. Clean, contemporary, amazing views, private deck to do yoga on in the morning, and best of all Ruth the host is just an awesome awesome woman. She was so gracious, and loving, and made me feel right at home. The unit itself is very cute with the living room upstairs and bedroom downstairs. I especially liked the small little desk that was underneath the stairs. It was great to catch up on emails and work a little. The sunrises and sunsets are to die for. You won’t be disappointed with this one.

We loved staying at Inez's place, it was really close to town, sunny and warm (summer had arrived! finally!). The patio was a wonderful private place to sit. All amenities were provided, a lovely collection of coffee, breakfast and chippies was waiting for us. Shower was amazing!! Inez popped by to make sure all was ok - she is such a friendly host! A great stay, comes thoroughly recommended. Many thanks 🙏

Fridas Loft was a gem, an art deco building nestled in a peaceful riverside location, close to all Nelson’s galleries and restaurants. Exquisitely furnished with some lovely touches, a balcony and large windows which flooded the place with light. There were tea bags and coffee etc. the bathroom and shower were gorgeous and it was nice to have a fridge. Jasmine and Glen gave us a lovely welcome, they were really flexible on timings and generous. The recommendations were useful too. It was fabulous and I would highly recommend it as a special place- wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back next year!

Absolutely loved my stay! Seb is genuinely one of the kindest and most accommodating hosts you’ll ever meet. He was incredibly friendly, providing prompt and helpful check-in advice. The studio space is both spacious and cozy, with a luxurious bathroom featuring underfloor heating, heated mirrors, and excellent shower pressure with a wide temperature range. The views from the windows and the balcony are peaceful and serene, offering a unique vantage point to watch planes take off and land at the airport - perfect for aviation enthusiasts! The stay was blissfully quiet; I wouldn’t have known anyone else was around until Seb kindly saw me off at checkout. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Airbnb to others.

We loved our stay at Melanie's place. It was spacious, thoughtfully appointed and well stocked. We'd watch the sunrise, make some breakfast which was provided, then go for a morning walk on the nearly deserted beach. It was conveniently located, just a short drive to Marlborough wine country. Did some wine tasting and picked up some fresh fish and local produce, then headed back to Melanie's and tossed that fish on the grill, dined with some of that wine, went for a final walk on the beach and slept well in the comfortable bed. Did not want to leave and can't wait to come back.

A modern house with an amazing view! I loved every moment of my stay. I was so happy to sit by the window and stare outside during the two nights whether it was sunny, cloudy, or rainy. The house was quiet, clean, and tidy. Very nice stay. I would highly recommend Louise's place.

This is how you get to the top 1% of Airbnb hosts: incredible stay at this beautiful and peaceful home set atop a small hill with a stunning, 360 degree view from the mountains to the sea, and a very kind and gracious host. Debbie and her two small dogs greeted us warmly, and Debbie walked us through the gorgeous bedroom suite. We loved everything in the room including stargazing at night right from the room. Loved the outdoor hot tub. The road/driveway to her home is well-marked with a “204” sign, and is very easy to find with Google maps. Everything - home, host, area - was so wonderful, we considered changing our itinerary to stay longer with her and her menagerie of animals including the 2 small dogs, a cat, chickens and ducks, who all miraculously seem to get along quite well!

Very nice suite in a beautiful vineyard. We enjoyed the many fruit trees. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The location is convenient to Nelson and Abel Tasmin.

I was only passing through for the night, but the studio was lovely. The view was beautiful and was a great place to crash for the night. The hosts were very helpful in their instructions, and I would recommend their place to anyone!

We stayed here for a couple nights as a base camp for exploring the area and had a lovely time. The space is like a side studio from the main house and has its own bathroom and a little kitchen area. The front door opens to a quiet garden. The ducks are friendly and the place makes for a very quiet stay. Judith is extremely nice and communicative. It is an all around great place to stay.

We had the best stay in the Tasman Suite. It is such a beautiful house and interieur with a really nice view over the bay. We had all our meals in the garden and had company of an intertaining Tui all the time. The suite was so clean and comfortable and we had the most relaxed stay there which we needed at that time after some busy and exhausting weeks with a lot of travelling. We can heartly recommand this suite at any time.
