Loved our stay at the cottage its beautiful inside and tastefully done very clean and plenty of amenities its in a really good location close to everything but tucked away to be peaceful lovely views from the top floor and a nice big shower. Kate was very reponsive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic place to stay, great location has everything you need and more. The only thing I would say is the main door downstairs to get in is quite tricky the key needs to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to open. A hard turn to the left gets it working once you know how. We loved our stay the home is gorgeous inside and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We are already looking at dates to book to come back in a few months time

We all really enjoyed our stay. The house was so comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked with every imaginable utensil. The lovely gift of Botham’s Yorkshire Brack, wine and nibbles was a lovely touch. So leased we found you.

Shangri La is in a perfect location right on the beach front, and the rise & fall of the tide provided endless fascination. The parking space right by the front door was a huge bonus as otherwise visitor parking is prohibited. This is sea bird territory so if you value your car's paintwork, have some bird poo cleaning materials with you. The cottage was well equipped, warm and comfortable, especially the bed. We visited as far away as WWT Washington to the north and Bempton Cliffs to the south, and both were absolutely brilliant. Thank you Clare for allowing us to stay in your cottage.

We’ve stayed in lots of cottages around Staithes and this one is wonderful. Really spacious which you don’t tend to get and lovely and quiet whilst still being super close to the village. Really high end place with lovely touches

Lovely weekend away in Sandsend. A beautiful holiday home just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Nice and private, plenty of parking, would recommend.

The Lute Player is absolutely perfect! Right in the middle of Whitby with everything you need. Jennifer sent loads of information just before my stay that was accurate, clear and useful. The beds and pillows are super comfy, the bathroom )and everywhere really) was spotlessly clean. The decor of the whole place is a mix of seaside and vintage. I can’t think of any negatives. I will definitely come back!

This was our second stay at Annie’s cottage and it’s just perfect ! The views are amazing, it’s spotless and just so cosy. The perfect cottage to stay in Whitby, Michelle is easy to get hold of if needed, can’t wait to hopefully return .

We had a great stay at the start of February half term. A lovely cosy hideaway, perfect for beach walks, pub meals, afternoon pints, and cafe lunches. The house itself has everything you might need to including a very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Great place in a central location. The kids thought it was magical to walk straight out into the street after the quiet of the house. They also really loved having tv’s in their rooms and the games room. The kitchen was well kitted out. The views from the top floor bedroom were awesome and loved the bit of outdoor space.

We absolutely loved our New Year break at Curious Crab. The village is idyllic and the cottage was beautiful. We all felt relaxed and at home. Each room felt very special, the kids loved sleeping in the attic and the open fire was the icing on the cake. Rob was a brilliant host. Very responsive and helpful when needed.

When we walked into the cottage, we fell in love with it, especially once we got the fire going. It was so pretty, well equipped. It would have been nice to have some shampoo and conditioner but didn’t affect our stay. The beds were so comfy, especially the bed in the top bedroom. The mattress, duvet and cover made for a very cosy and perfect sleep. Would highly recommend. We hope to be back very soon!

We have spent three glorious days at Matthew and Samantha’s stunning cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for and beyond. The kitchen was well equipped, from the lovely crockery to the fab oven. We loved the big pine kitchen table and spent time in the evenings eating, drinking wine and putting the world to rights. The sitting room is comfy and the wood burner was excellent. The showers were great. As for the setting, when you open the door the river is in front of you and the beach a few metres to the right, heaven! The local pub to your left was fab, locals go there and are friendly, fish and chips excellent! I could go on and on! Whitby, Runswick Bay etc all close by. Cheers both, we will definitely be back.
