A friend and I were in the area for a three day class at Quilted Strait. Wendy’s place was easy to find as it is very well marked at the road. She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The accommodations are spacious, super clean and anything you might need is available. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen items, shampoo, conditioner etc. She thought of everything. Also, there were fresh, delicious cookies waiting for us! I asked a few questions that I would have known the answer to if I hadn’t set a bag down on the table and covered up her provided information and she was always quick to kindly text back. The view here is lovely, big trees and a gorgeous bay. Enjoy!

This house is a hidden gem, offering multi-layered bedrooms in every corner and inviting living spaces. It provides entertainment for kids and adults alike, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Perfect for family getaways, girls' or guys' retreats, or multi-family vacations—this is the ideal place to create cherished memories. I wholeheartedly recommend it as a destination for your next stay.

This home is even better in person. This house has been a sanctuary for us during a difficult time. Our home remodel was extended unexpectedly, and we needed to find a place quickly while our home was under construction. The view is incredible. The home is furnished with beautiful antiques, and the beds were super comfy. When the batteries on the heating switch were low - they were over within minutes. And we were close enough to walk to two of our favorite restaurants. If you are on the fence about staying here - just do it!

Discovery Ridge Cottage was the most enchanting stay. From start to finish. Cottage was modern, comfortable to a high degree, spotless. A home away from home. A Magical location within the trees. Peaceful, great location and a wonderful retreat at day’s end. The wonderful Host Linda & husband were in proximity if anything needed - nothing was needed as Hosts had provided every single thing guests would need. Fabulously stocked kitchen with a most welcome treats basket complete with bottle of wine & snacks. Keurig coffee. Fridge/microwave etc. Ample space and beautiful furnishings. Thoughtful Art work. Peaceful patio with table and chairs. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’re looking at our calendars for when we will next visit our daughter in Port Townsend and Discovery Ridge Cottage will be our Airbnb of choice. 5 Star all round! 🌟

My friends and I stayed at Kirsten's spot during our annual Whidbey Island weekend trip. This was by far the best AirBnB experience we've ever had on the island. Kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials (and then some!), instructions were clear, rooms were clean. Honestly, the trip felt too short this time around! We also needed some flexibility with our check-out and Kirsten was super responsive and accommodating. She's great, the place is great, if you're thinking of booking this spot, DO IT!

An absolutely incredible stay! This place is a mid-century gem, with the stunning Malm fireplace stealing the show—it was simply mesmerizing and set the perfect cozy vibe. The views were jaw-dropping and absolutely worth the climb up the stairs. The house was impeccably clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were so comfortable that we all slept like babies. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it a truly relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique, peaceful retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

10/10 would recommend! The host was quick to respond, the excellent & rapid communication was much appreciated before & throughout my stay. Everything was neatly labeled, so there wasn’t any issue finding anything we needed. This location was less than 10 minutes from the waterfall ,where I had my first date with my spouse. After moving & grieving a loss recently, we decided to treat ourselves to a getaway…. We wanted to feel far away from home - without having to go too far from home. This spot definitely exceeded our expectations by miles. The place felt warm, inviting, comfortable & the extra amenities made it complete. It’s a dream vacation spot. This review doesn’t even begin to cover how lovely this place is. It’s well worth the cost! Extra shoutout once more to the host Beverly. Next time a getaway feels necessary…. I hope to visit this location again :)
