Maria Lucia and Kermit's home is a little piece of heaven. Perched atop a hill in West Virginia with a magnificent 360 degree outlook, this was the perfect place for me to rest midway my journey. They are both excellent hosts, warm and friendly and I immediately felt welcomed. The room was cosy and welcoming. Country Road comes highly recommended.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this adorable retro inspired home. We had so much fun going room to room seeing all the special touches. The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, had everything one would need. Our host, Elizabeth, was kind and communicated very well. Highly recommend if you need to stay in the area or surrounding towns and would like to stay at a place that also provides some fun!

It felt right at home, Rebecca was a lot of help and responsive when I had questions. I would love to book another stay.

My 2 sons and I and a few friends stayed @ The Overlook to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. We are Gallia County residents and didn't have the time to go far from home, but still wanted to get away and disconnect for a while. Everything about our experience was perfect. Chris & Rebecca allowed flexibility on the check in time so we could decorate and get things set up. The cabin was spotless and designed beautifully, the check in/out was quick & easy. The beds were very comfortable. The location is very private, even with guests in the cabin next door. Our favorites about our stay were hanging out around the firepit, sitting on the deck in the morning looking over the river, and having breakfast by campire at the picnic table. We didnt make it down to the river due to the temp being a little bit colder than anticipated but we would love to return in the Summer. Breakfast was delicious, thanks Gena! Chris & Rebecca were so friendly and answered any questions promptly. Highly recommend

My friends and I love to get out of the city and hang out at this cabin. We love the pool and sauna and we spend majority of the time on the front porch enjoying the peaceful energy and beautiful surroundings. The cabin is always clean and well stocked with necessities. It is decorated thoughtfully and the bedrooms and beds are huge and amazingly comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The solitude was awesome and refreshing. The home was amazing. The view and quiet was a welcome change to where I usually stay during work. I will be inquiring about this property next year.

I recently stayed at this incredible Airbnb cabin, and I can’t stop raving about it! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning views that surrounded the cabin. The panoramic vistas of the mountains/forest were absolutely breathtaking—each morning I woke up to a picture-perfect landscape, and watching the sunset from the deck was a truly unforgettable experience. The cabin itself is cozy, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in every corner was evident, from the plush bedding to the fully stocked kitchen, making it feel like a home away from home. The large windows brought the outdoors in, and the fireplace created the perfect ambiance for relaxing after a day of adventure. The location is peaceful and serene, yet still close to local attractions and hiking trails, making it the ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. This place was exactly as described, and they brought us breakfast which we could enjoy in the cabin. It says a maximum of 4 but there are 2 double/queen beds and two bunk beds with a twin each. This gave us the option to choose our favorite place. The bathroom was clean with lots of choices for soaps in the shower, and the whole place was very open despite being relatively small (not cramped at all). I liked the view of the river as well. The hosts were very forthcoming with information before and during the stay.

This was the perfect spot for an overnight spot on our family road trip. We were enthusiastically greeted by Jake, the owner's dog and a very good boy, upon our arrival, which was fantastic because my kid was missing our critters. They made friends and were snuggling on the couch before long! The house was in a lovely spot with views of the hilly landscape out the front and back. The space and furnishings were more than enough for the three of us. If we're ever passing through the area in the future, we'll definitely want to stay here again!
