This unit is on the western end of a series of duplexes named Senedo Springs. The gravel roads up here are very walkable. It’s possible to trek down to Lake Laura although it’s a big vertical climb back up. The unit is airy and nice, better than the pictures. Thankfully there is not actually a murphy bed in the living room as shown in the pictures. The blankets are outdated so I recommend bringing your own. Plenty of cookware and dishes available but you’ll need to bring oil, spices, and all other food items. The amenities are great! It’s also nice they provide firewood just a short walk away. Good view of Great North Mountain in the winter. Amazing night sky from this location. This was our second time staying here and it kept its five-star rating!

Do not hesitate to book the Boone House! We had an outstanding experience. The spot is nestled in a quiet area and the cabin has everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Thoughtfully decorated with a woodsy, cozy yet modern/industrial vibe. Melissa and Danny are outstanding hosts- kind, clear communicators, and generous hosts. We enjoyed our family time together immensely. Can’t wait to come back!

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Our extended family really enjoyed this beautiful home! It’s new and very spacious, with high ceilings and nice light. The kitchen has just about everything someone could need and the deck was wonderful for enjoying fresh air, while the large downstairs area was great for kids. We loved the hot tub. Deb was friendly and helpful, and this home is just really lovely and very pleasant!

Beautiful serene. QUIET. nothing around. Except stars. Mountains. Nature. Read the book by the General Butch. I relaxed and read a book in front of the fireplace. My wife took naps and hung on porch. Jacuzzi was great wind down at night. Great place. The best place. Truly heaven. Huge place. If needed. We used one section only. Nice tub!

My second time staying at this home over the last five years. Great place for our family gathering. The grandchildren loved the "fort" under the stairs and watching all the deer . Fantastic to come back and relax by the fire after skiing . Best stocked kitchen in a rental we have experienced and we travel and use Airbnb and VRBO often . Would definitely stay again :)

Exceptionally beautiful location—the sights, the tranquility, and the stunning yard make it truly special. It’s a great place to host a sizable family gathering, with plenty of seating options at the dinner table, outdoor seating, and a lovely fire pit. Exceptionally clean. The Great Pyrenees dog was amazing to watch over the fence. I personally think that’s the coolest dog of all time. along with the other beautiful animals. 10/10—would visit again. This was our second time booking with Paul and April, and we are so glad we had another opportunity. They are so nice as hosts, and their customer service is top-notch. The home is comfortable and accommodating and so close to the slopes and the amenities. The Kitchen has it all! We are a big family, and we fit nicely. Unfortunately, this will be our last stay. Our family is growing, and this sweet home will not be able to accommodate us next year. It was amazing while it lasted.

The Riverhouse was so nice and cozy! Loved how close it was to the river - view out of the front was all river and the view out of the back still had the mountains, it was lovely. Scot was super responsive to any questions and so personable! If you want a cozy little getaway with friends/family, this is definitely a good pick for you!

Brenda was a fantastic host. Super attentive and response. The house was perfect to celebrate our toddlers birthday. It’s a childs dream house. An upstairs room with plenty of toys. An outside with tons of things to do. A treasure hunt, swings, wooden horses. We had so much fun. But it was also quiet and relaxing for the parents. We will be back

This Airbnb was the perfect peaceful escape with an incredible view of the river that made every moment feel serene. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, grilling by the BBQ, and ending our nights around the cozy fire pit. Everything was clean, quiet, and exactly what we needed to unwind!

Wonderful weekend stay right on the river. Easy access to the hazel river, Shenandoah national park, as well as some short trails right on the property. Spectacular views from every window and multiple decks. It’s easy to sit and read a book while listening to the peaceful sounds. This property is beautiful with everything you need to feel right at home. It felt more like a home than a rental property. It was well decorated and somewhere you actually want to spend time vs drop your stuff and head out. We enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

We really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer! The house was spacious and had beautiful mountain views. Our kids loved the large yard and game room. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a quick drive to get groceries. The drive to Shenandoah was only 15-20 min too.

Beautiful views from almost every window! Just spending time sitting on the back porch looking at the mountains with a coffee or glass of wine was the highlight of our trip. The house is very spacious and well maintained. There are two floors that offer almost two private living quarters. The location is an easy 15-30 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park, Caverns and wineries! Highly recommend!

Just as pictured, private, quite, and comfortable. My guys and I where comfortable for or work trip in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay that's close to everything in town. The home was very quiet, comfortable, very clean and the king bed was comfortable. Athena communicated every time within a few minutes and very sweet. She allowed us to check in early on our arrival and the electronic keypad was easy to use. Upon the stay we had a snow storm in which we were offered a free night but instead chose to leave a day early to not get snowed in (even offered a night back since we didn't stay). Athena was nothing short of one of the best host we've ever delt with. We will definitely stay again!

Laura’s place was perfect for our long holiday weekend stay in Madison. The property matched its description precisely, offering comfortable beds, a well-organized kitchen (everything is labeled), and fully functional amenities. Laura was responsive to our questions but we had most of the information we needed in the house. The location was ideal for exploring Culpeper and Charlottesville. Everything was immaculately clean, and the internet and TVs worked perfectly. We would absolutely recommend this rental and hope to return in the future.

We had a great stay at Nikhil's family's Spacious Shenandoah home. There were so many special touches - the wood burning fireplaces, the French doors, location and connection to Nature. We had a great time visiting local towns, restaurants and shopping (inn at little Washington, early mountain winery, local hikes). We would love to come stay again.

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!

i rented this airbnb for a work crew that stayed for a week. The location was a bit far out from Harrisonburg but that is the charm of this small home. It was a nice quiet peaceful gateway where one could rest and recover from a busy day of work. The views are amazing and being able to see farm animals out in the surrounding fields was an odd treat. The home itself was very clean and comfortable. If you're traveling with kids or for work, this is a perfect spot.
