Beautiful spot to stay! The beach is just a short walk away, great spots to eat nearby and the house itself is lovely- very clean and tidy. It has a beautiful outdoor space with a large deck that means you can enjoy a drink outside or even have the double doors open for indoor outdoor flow. We really appreciated all the kitchen amenities and condiments so we could cook at home and particularly enjoyed the use of the bbq and the bikes to explore the area. Would definitely come back!

Amazing place Paris put a lot of effort into creating a homely vibe. I felt right at home. The high quality of all the fittings makes the place truly pristine. Would reccomend to anyone.

Had a great stay, place was perfect for our group (four adults, two dogs and an 18month old). Super well set up with everything you need for a nice stay (including a crib and highchair for bub) and some thoughtful little extra treats/surprises (including for the dogs!). Beautiful location and a lovely place to unwind. Hosts were lovely, excellent communication - very helpful and respnsive. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a nice time. The only downside (which is completely outside of the hosts control!) was that there was loud music played on the beach past midnight two out of the three nights we stayed. Probably an anomaly due to the long weekend, but wasn't expecting this given the reasonably remote location and wish I'd brought ear plugs with me as I did struggle to sleep. Didnt spoil our trip by any means though, and would definitely come back and stay again in future.

Had a fantastic stay at Seagull Retreat. Like other commenters it was even better than on the photos. Good sized rooms, and a nice lounge space with a little sun room which was really nice to hang out in. It was a short walk to the beach, and the beach was lovely, really nice fine sand. The deck and grassy area outside was really nice to, and we could hang out under the shade of the tree on the grass. Lots of lovely little touches and really felt like a great experience, you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into creating this space. I'd definitely come back again!

We had a great stay at Ngaire’s place. A nice little cottage with great views and had everything we needed. Also enjoyed the coffee shop across the road. Ngaire was a lovely host and very helpful ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place. The house is spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Sarah was a very responsive, attentive and friendly host! We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa, and playing frisbee on the massive grounds. The views are magical. The house is only a short drive/walk from vineyards and easy drive to Masterton. Would happily stay here again, cannot recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful weekend here. The property was lovely and private, you didn’t know there were neighbours. It was fully fenced and secure, perfect for bringing our dog. The house was beautifully furnished and comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need. We’ll definitely stay again.

A wonderful place, with stunning views and real peacefulness while being close to vineyards, restaurants and (important with a two year old) playgrounds. The hosts could not have been more helpful - thank you.

Easy to find and seamless checkin. A nice quiet road with beautiful properties all around. An excellent place to stay for a couple of nights.

Vicki was super generous and allowed us a late check out for free. Beautiful home and wish we stayed another night to use the pool as it was such a beautiful day the next day! 10/10 recommend :)

We always stay here when we come to Martinborough and Greytown. It's the perfect location and we feel very comfortable. The bedding is pristine and the decor is pleasing to the eye. Very stylish, immaculately clean amd comfortable....ticks All boxes! We stay here atleast 3 times every year! Love ❤️ this accommodation amd highly recommend 👌

Wow - what an awesome stay. Hosts went over and above to make ua feel at home - the family felt comfy and loved the company of Romeo and Rocco - as well as the beautiful inground pool! Will be back for sure! Thanks guys!!

This was our second time staying here, and we hope there will be a third! I stayed here with my bridesmaids to get ready for our big day, and the home had everything we needed for relaxing. The spa was excellent and we loved the gas fires too.

Joy’s place is wonderful. It’s cosy and quiet and has a lovely garden area to relax in too which was very welcome after our long drive. It’s perfectly situated within walking distance to the town which has a really good range of restaurants and cafes and is pretty much right on the beach and only 5 mins to the Kapiti boat launch. We could only stay one night but we loved it and Joy is super helpful and responsive.

Lisa's place is a gem! Gorgeously styled, warm and inviting! A really nice space to relax and unwind. All amenities for a comfortable stay, super lux sheets on comfy beds, and great outdoor spaces. Walking distance to Martinborough Square for all your wining and dining needs! Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay if you need a place for a few days in Upper Hutt. I would stay again and also recommend to others. It was great that it was dog friendly as well, our mini schnauzer also enjoyed our stay.

this was one of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! just so quaint and peaceful; light and bright, surrounded by gorgeous French lavender. felt so at home, I didn’t want to leave! We loved having a bbq on the deck & the outdoor bath was awesome. I’m going to miss Pippi the dog a lot! Will definitely come back!
