Great stay at Rose and Wal's and such lovely hosts to deal with. We appreciated the Welcome note and cold water on arrival. Accommodation is larger than the photos, had everything we needed and was handy having the breakfast items. Hosts live upstairs as described, but house is large and very sound proof - we could not hear anything. Has own private entrance, large deck area and pool. Matua is a lovely suburb and we enjoyed our neighborhood walks - the coastal walk is just a skip and jump away. Thanks Rose & Wal, it was lovely to meet you.

We enjoyed our stay at Peter and Betty’s. The pool was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Google maps guided us down a nearby street instead, but the instructions from the host were accurate and fixed the problem. Peter was very responsive when we had any questions. Would stay again

Place was beautiful, we spent time round the pool and in the spa. Felt like a home away from home! Thanks so much for having us, look forward to staying again ☺️

Tara was easy to deal with and place was clean and tidy. House had plenty of room and an excellent outdoor area including a pool to relax and refresh. Would definitely stay again.

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

Jonathan’s house is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need. The lounge and dining areas are spacious and comfortable as are the bedrooms and beds. Nice outdoor garden with a lovely warm hot tub. Very much appreciated especially on a cold wet Rotorua day. The house is close to the shops, cafes, restaurants, groceries etc. Some interesting sightseeing areas are within walking distance from the property. We enjoyed our stay.

Easy to work with the landlady as we were a very late notice booking, and very accommodating for extension if required. Highly recommended.

WOW! Wonderful place for many people. Bedrooms were spacious enough and bedding was sooooo comfortable. Fans in every room for circulation - great idea!! Good sized lounge and dining room. Great kitchen with a pantry! Undercover garage parking, straight into the house. House is a great design. I can not speak highly enough of this house and host. I had a great conversation with Jay. We even found a jigsaw puzzle that we did in 1 night - sadly 3 pieces missing but what a great family fun night. The only down side is that it is a bit difficult getting in and out of the driveway as it is in a small area with many houses. A few houses in a small area but still pretty quiet. My only regret is that we only had 1 night here. This would be terrific for a long stay.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay! Located in a very peaceful area in Papamoa and very close to the beach. The place was spacious and tidy. What a weekend!

What an amazing place, right on Papamoa Beach! The house was great, all the little amenities, from the kitchen supplies to the spa-like outdoor shower, helped us to feel at home. Kristie was so responsive and flexible with our schedule. One important note: no microwave! But we were able to easily work around that and we had an incredible stay!

Jessie's place is conveniently located between two busy spots for restaurants 🍣 🍔 and amenities in Papamoa Beach - an easy bike ride along traffic free paths, or via a stroll along the beach ⛱️ - also close to bus 🚌 routes to get you to Tauranga or Maunganui. The house has great facilities for keeping cool, a lovely deck with huge parasol and a brilliant heatpump inside. Jessie left us a lovely note on our arrival and the document explaining where to bike 🚲, surf 🌊 and enjoy the local area was brilliant! The yard was great for our Golden Retriever 🐶, fully fenced with good shade areas under the colossal olive 🫒 tree - with beach or path walks galore!

Large place with big bedrooms, plenty of space for our group. Very easy to find and quiet neighbourhood. Wasn't here for long got in late and left early in morning so not too much to write but ticked most of the boxes!

The house was beautiful and incredibly well finished. It had everything you needed, the coffee machine was a bonus and we really appreciated the swimming towels provided. It was super comfortable, with lovely outdoor areas which was amazing for the summer days. We were a group of couples and the only comment is that bedroom 4 is two single beds (not a double as in the photos), however it wasn’t an issue at all. Check-in and out was super easy, highly recommend staying there!

We had a lovely stay here. Peaceful but so entertaining for the children right on the park and across the road from the beach . A really lovely family holiday and so well equipped.

We had a lovely stay at the Secret Garden House. The spa was wonderful and it was fully heated for us on arrival which we really appreciated. There was everything there for our stay on arrival and the house was spotless and warm with lovely furniture and decor with a NZ flavour. It was a house that was decorated with care and love.

A quirky little place to stay. Not far to attractions, supermarkets and town centre. Communication was great, answers to questions quick, and the suggestions on activities was much appreciated. Great to have a kitchen that supplied all items needed. We found our stay peaceful and relaxing. xx

I booked Cindy's place for my family who traveled from Whakatane. They said they felt extremely spoilt as the place was modern, clean and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable with clean fresh linen, The modern facilities and additional touches made them feel pampered and in a luxurious home. Their 5 year old loved the plush toys and child friendly activities that Cindy made available. Thank you Cindy for providing a wonderful home for my family to stay in. We highly recommend Cindy's place and have no hesitation in booking again in future

There were 8 of us - 3 couples and 2 singles and the accommodation was ideal for our group. lots of outside seating for the warmer days/evenings. Great communication from Bev and/or Ezra. Thanks so much - we'd love to come again.

We booked last minute because we decided we should get somewhere with a proper kitchen . We had been staying in Airbnb’s with just a microwave and a toaster and a kettle, there were only two of us so we were spoiled in this large, fantastically well equipped house. I would highly recommend it for visiting Rotorua only a few minutes drive from the town.
