We had a wonderful weekend away at Nikki’s classic kiwi bach! The location is so beautiful, and it was great to be right on the waterfront. The Bach is lovely and had everything we needed for a great stay. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! Nikki is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Hopefully we will get to come back again one day!

An amazing location with absolutely stunning views of the harbour. Well equipped. Lovely deck. A short but steep walk is well worth the effort for a relaxing drink watching the harbour. Non members welcome and great food. Some stunning beaches nearby for Ollie’s dog walks. Julia was very responsive to our messages. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful few days at Bobbie's place. What a beautiful bach, so modern, comfortable, spacious & clean. A peaceful location in the cul de sac, lovely to sit outside & enjoy the sunset. It had all the mod cons. It's very close to Wood St restaurants & shops & also the surf beach & estuary. A perfect relaxing vacation, we would come back again. Thanks for letting us stay!

Back again! It’s a great place with incredible views out to the Barriers. Simple but stylish with plenty of tools in the kitchen to knock up a great feed, and, the best slumber with the comfiest of beds. I reckon we’ll be back!

Clean and tidy and Ernie was kind enough to allow us to check in early to freshen up and change before our son's wedding at 2:30 at a venue nearby. 3 of us and only stayed 1 night. Very peaceful setting close to the village. Would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

We loved Nuku Cabin, Diane and Anthony were lovely and friendly and I think My hubby could have chatted to Anthony all day. They seemed to have thought of everything and it was very well organised and easy to find what you needed. The cabin was exactly as described and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The weather was extremely wet so it was great to have so much space. We thought we might have been able to hear the highway more but once the door was shut we couldn’t hear anything. We can thoroughly recommend Nuku Cabin.

We had an amazing stay! Rodd was incredibly professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is absolutely stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. The amenities provided truly elevated the experience as we had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. My family and I had so much fun as there's so much to do, and all of the amenities are in amazing condition. Thank you Rodd for being so accomodating! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This was a beautiful spacious apartment (part of a big house but separate and self-contained) with access to a swimming pool and garden. Two bedrooms suited us well and it was like being in a private wing. Very comfy beds, stunning views and a great location for Ruakaka sandy beach and to pop into Whangarei. Pleasant hosts who communicated well. We found it hard to leave!

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

We loved this place, it has an awesome set up with a great place to relax while the kids swim. Our girl loved having the pool toys, she spent most of the time in there. Close to neighbours but the fenced area makes it feel very private. It has everything you need and was clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay! The hosts were super lovely to deal with and had lots of friendly animals as well. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice and peaceful and quiet, overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

What a stunning place, it felt like new! We enjoyed a special family weekend at this home away from home. The games room was a hit and we loved the sunny courtyard for our evening BBQ. The street is quiet, the Marina shops a short drive away. Two bedrooms upstairs are very hot. The late afternoon sun poured in and we found it hard to sleep at night. Ceiling fans helped a little. Aircon downstairs a welcome relief! All in all a fabulous home and we’d love to stay again.

This stay was perfect in every way. The cottage and surrounding grounds are beyond beautiful, they are idyllic. Comfort is what we crave and comfort with style is what you get by staying here. There is so much to see and do and so many nearby restaurants and cafes, there is no way to do it all in one stay. Along with a comprehensive and detailed information manual that explicitly details the many local points of interest and places to eat, drink, and shop, Dean’s friendly and welcoming demeanour offer a model of what a perfect Airbnb host ought to be. We’ll be back!

Wicked location right on the beach, simple and cozy accommodation, nothing eles matters when you stay here. Pure relaxation and fun. Took kids and dog. We went swimming, fishing off the rocks and kayaking. Local shop only round the corner. We have already booked our next stay!

After travelling for several months, we wanted a peaceful, quiet setting to relax and enjoy walks on the beach. Josie and Graeme's place was perfect. They also provided many little extras which we appreciated very much. We enjoyed speaking with Graeme who was especially helpful with information on local geology and history. Recommended!

Of course we were blessed with good weather. That said this location was perfect for a couple of days out of Auckland. Wonderful view over the estuary. Margaret was very helpful without being obtrusive. Would be very happy to recommend this to others.

what a place!! the house is far back road and incredibly serene. we came with two young kids and 4 adults and there was heaps to keep us occupied. trip across the estuary with kayaks to these amazing beach breaks a particular highlight. The whole house has something for everyone and honestly think we may be back. Rebecca was also an amazing host and had loads of local knowledge to share.
