We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. I can’t speak highly enough about the team working at Eraeliya, everyone is so professional and welcoming. We were looked after so well by Sadan and Rex for our entire stay, which only enhanced our trip at this beautiful place.

They treat me like a son , first time I take a long trip by myself , Amazing breakfast , delicious fruits and juice ! The staff it’s just amazing ! They make sure their clients are happy ! I will Come back again to this place ! I’m sorry for the other business , once you know coco nut surf inn you might not want to stay somewhere else . Surfing easy at only 20m from the house , 3 waves to choose !!PARAdise. Is the right word for what I had here .

The accommodation was great and clean and in the centre of the town, near the see. South was nice and helpful.

Chaminda and his family are truly beautiful. I came as a guest and left as family. They are kind, friendly, attentive and true in their genuine hospitality. The room they have is great and the surroundings are fabulous. 5 mins to beautiful beaches and 20 mins inland to an amazingly peaceful temple set within the jungle. I was lucky to have a group of semi local lads staying near me who work locally on a site and whom were so friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience Sri Lanka and the heart of the people who make this country so beautiful and then stay here, for it is a special place owned by a magical family 🙏

Terrific room close to the beach, and very friendly host who welcomes you with a delicious breakfast each morning. It can get a little too warm in the room on hot days/evenings, but they do have a ceiling fan which helps to offset this a little. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for value on a budget! :)

This awesome house is run by a very sweet family who are easy to communicate with and always do their best to help. The location is in a very green and quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with a beautiful Buddhist temple and green rice fields nearby with lots peacocks (and all kinds of birds) around. I stayed at this house for two months and it has been a delight.

We had a wonderful stay here. A beautiful hotel right on turtle bay. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful, tending to any requests. The hotel has its own spot on the beach with loungers accessible for guests, and they also don’t charge to rent out the snorkel gear for seeing the turtles. The room was very spacious and had all we needed.

My husband and I stayed at Robinhill for 5 days, and it was absolutely incredible! The location is great — one block away from the beach and 10 minutes or less walking to restaurants. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean. The pictures do not do this place justice — Robinhill is a dreamy open-air space with a symphony of exotic birds and the aromatic delight of lightly scented plumeria blooms. The outdoor space is luxurious with privacy, comfortable lounge chairs, and a heated pool. Nuwan is a wonderfully hospitable and knowledgeable host and was happy to answer any questions we had about the area and things to do. He also gave us great food recommendations! Thank you for such an amazing stay!!

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad bij Sandaru. Midden in het regenwoud omgeven door de geluiden uit de natuur. Sandaru en alle medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en respectvol. We voelde ons erg welkom. Het zwembad zorgt voor een heerlijke verkoeling na een wandeltocht door het regenwoud. Verwacht geen luxe in het regenwoud. Het is een pure beleving met alle basis behoeften. Er is een bed met klamboe, douche (lauw water), toilet, kastje en een stopcontact. In de avond zit je gezellig in het restaurant gedeelte. Vanuit hier spot je apen, grote eekhoorns en verschillende prachtige vogels. Het eten is het beste wat we tot nu toe hebben gehad in Sri Lanka, hele grote porties en ontzettend betaalbaar. Houdt er rekening mee dat er bloedzuigers, spinnen en kakkerlakken aanwezig kunnen zijn in/rondom het huisje.

Perfect B&B to stay at in Mirissa, central position, private parking and a beautiful garden. The rooms and bathroom are super clean and comfortable, feels like being at home. The breakfast is very good and the team is very helpful. Great place, very recommended!!

This was a great place in a great location. The staff were super helpful. Chef Indy is a great cook and we enjoyed both his breakfasts (French toast was great!) and dinners (excellent curries). Kelum helped us arrange surf lessons as well as providing other tips. We had a great stay. The only downside of the place is that it is between a busy street and the train tracks and the train can be a bit loud but it didn’t keep any of us from sleeping and the private yard area is very nice. The open kitchen/living/dining area has a beautiful view of the ocean and the AC in the bedrooms worked great.

Shamila was a fantastic host with a lovely property. She greeted us with fresh juice and made us feel right at home. Every morning she made us a wonderful breakfast with coffee and home made juice. The property was lovely and clean!

Loved staying here! The hosts were so friendly and kind. Whenever I had any issues, they were always helpful. The only downside was that it could sometimes be hard to sleep due to loud music and barking dogs outside.

I had a great stay with my parents at Sumimal resort, the location is great and you can explore Matara as well as Mirissa from this place. It is at a walking distance from the protected turtles beach. The place is clean and it is as it is in the pictures. On arrival fresh coconut water is awesome. I ate at the resort itself, home cooked traditional meal, it was delicious and I am already waiting to plan my stay again whenever I return to Sri Lanka next time. had an amazing experience staying at Bathiya's place! From the moment I arrived, He made me feel incredibly welcome. The space was just as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my trip was definitely the food! The dumplings and pancakes served at the property were absolutely delicious—highly recommend trying them. The flavors were incredible, and you can tell they were made with a lot of care. It was such a nice bonus to enjoy home-cooked meals during my stay. Bathiya went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time, offering local tips and being responsive to any questions I had. The location was perfect, with easy access to Beach and restaurants around making it the ideal spot for exploring the area. I truly appreciated Bathiya's hospitality and attention to detail. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area..
