an amazing stay, janit responded almost immediately every time, was very helpful, liaised with the staff next door to organize anything we needed. the house is beautiful, clean and spacious. even better than the photos! only thing to be aware of is there is no a/c in the living areas, there are multiple large ceiling fans though and the a/c in the bedrooms is excellent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cocoya! From the moment we arrived, we couldn’t believe we got to spend two weeks in such a magical place surrounded by coconut trees and stunning natural beauty. The house was even better than we imagined - beautifully designed, perfect for the tropical climate and full of peaceful, relaxing vibes. The pool was a total dream - we spent so much time there just soaking in the sun and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Everything about the place felt so natural yet effortlessly luxurious. It had the perfect balance between comfort and a connection to nature. Also the place had a perfect location - close to Ahangama's beach and restaurants but far enough to feel completely isolated from everything. We felt incredibly lucky to call this place home for two weeks. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience - we’re already dreaming about coming back!

La villa est exceptionnelle, la situation est parfaite, a proximité de restaurants et dans le quartier résidentiel de Mahdia a Mirissa ( a mon avis, le meilleur endroit pour séjourner). La présence d'Indika durant le séjour rend le séjour mémorable. extrêmement gentil, attentionné et discret il lui tient a cœur que les voyageurs puissent passer un séjour d'exception. Grâce a ces conseils et son aide durant le séjour nous avons pu nous relaxer et profiter au maximum de nos vacances en famille. Merci encore Indika !! Bella et Gaston les deux chiens de la maison sont également très discrets et sympathiques. Bref, Tout était parfait

Beautiful house and garden. We felt totally at home, and so well looked after. There is a caretaker who lives in a house on the grounds so you have the peace of mind that there is someone there should you need anything and he keeps the place secure. We also had a team come every morning at whatever time we wanted to make us the most amazing breakfast- pancakes, waffles, fruit, roti, dahl, eggs, tea etc. It was a 10 min walk to the shops and beach and easy to grab a tuk tuk back when we wanted. Air con was great. Pool was beautiful. Monkeys and peacocks entertained us in the morning. Can’t fault the place.

Dd was fantastic from start to finish. Very quick to respond to questions, and everyone at the house was friendly, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us. A short 5 minute drive/ride/tuk tuk from Ahangama where there are lots of options for food and drinks. Dd helped us arrange the rental of some scooters to help us get around. Thank you so much - we’d all come and stay again if and when we head back to Sri Lanka! Thank you!

Süßes kleines Häuschen mit einer schönen Terrasse und Garten. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Chamara und seine Familie sind sehr herzlich und haben mir zum Abschluss sogar ein sehr leckeres Frühstück bereitet. Absolut empfehlenswert diese Unterkunft!

We were 10 days around the country, and without any question, this place was our favourite. The villa is an amazing place, very clean, fresh, the swimming pool inside is also very good. And the villa is very close to the river. The location is between Mirissa and Weligama (5 minutes each by scooter) Kasun was outstanding with us, they prepared a very nice breakfast, we couldn’t finished due to the quantity. If you are going to Weligama or Mirissa, book this villa.

Our stay at the Soulhouse was incredibly wonderful. We had an unforgettable time. Elspeth is an excellent hostess. She looked after our well-being at all times and fulfilled our wishes to the best of her ability (eg. Pilates with Rosie :)) The staff in the house was also very obliging and looked after us very well. The breakfast was extensive and we were able to decide on a daily basis with the cook. We also requested a large BBQ, which was a complete success. The prawns, crabs and fish were of the best quality and bought directly from the market. Great importance is attached to the ambience, the furnishings and the cleanliness. The house is in the forest and on one side you look out over a large field. We saw countless animals. However, you need a car to visit the village or the beach, as the house is a little out of the way. This was not a problem for us. We really enjoyed the vibe. We all felt very comfortable and would come back in a heartbeat.

A short 5 night stay but one that me and the family will remember for a long, long time. Everything was perfect, the location spectacular (a few steps to a stunning beach) and the hospitality better than we could have imagined. The villa is in excellent condition, the rooms and bathrooms all modern and very clean. The open areas are perfect for a family. There’s no TV by design but it says a lot when even with 2 teenagers, this wasn’t missed nor brought up at all. Thank you to Nicola and the entire team for everything!

Our stay in Ratnakara Villa was awesome! The place is enormous and for our little group of 5 people it sometimes felt a bit too much) The best feature of the villa is the gorgeous infinity pool and a nice patio around it. The kitchen and the main hall were also spectacular but we didn't spend time there due to the great weather outside. The rooms were clean and spacious, but for us living by couples having two king-size beds was overkill (I'm sure there's a case when you need to have two big beds in your room 😅). The staff was really polite and friendly, the food was great and the good value for the price. The only two concerns that we had were a lack of AC in the rooms (there were big fans, but it's not enough in my opinion) and the nearby beach is not suitable for swimming. Aside from that everything else was super. Definitely recommend this place for everyone, who wants to have a luxury experience and the European service in Sri Lanka!

Simply fantastic The villa is quite special - much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Modern, contemporary and unique. The staff were always on hand to help, led by Mr Sumudu. Gayan the chef cooked a variety of local and western dishes, which pleased the whole family. The location is remote enough to provide tranquility, but also close to both mirissa and matara, giving you options for restaurants and beaches. Mirissa beach was a 6 minute tuk tuk ride, which was cheap and fun. As a group of 12 with 6 kids (ages 3-6), the set up meant everyone was comfortable - the rooms are large and there’s plenty of bathrooms. The pool was cleaned daily, with ample space for the kids to run around. The ‘secret beach’ as we called it, felt private and beautiful. Few minutes walk from the villa itself. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay - we plan to return again in the future. Thanks especially to Sumudu and the team for a fantastic service and for accommodating all of our requests.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

Thanks Elaine and Sadeep for our stay at the boat house. At the end of our Sri lankan trip with our big family group, this was the perfect place to unwind and relax before the long journey home. We had never booked an airbnb with staff and chefs before. It was an amazing experience. The house is gorgeous and so well presented. The photos dont really do the rooms justice, well thought out decor with lovely pieces of art and furnishings. location right on the beach and some lovely walks were had by all. Banks and supermarkets conveniently close by. We lived like kings while we were there and will definitely be back and highly recommend it as a great family location or for a group of friends celebrating a special event.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und bedanken uns von ganzem Herzen für die wunderschöne Zeit in der Familienvilla Walauwa des Eraeliya Villas and Gardens in Weligama. Das ganze Anwesen mit dem wunderschönen Garten, dem tollen Infinity Pool und dem magischen Ausblick auf den indischen Ozean hat uns umgehauen. Der ganze Staff ist sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene (2 Paare) und können dieses AirBnB absolut empfehlen. Einziges Manko; die Küche könnte in Sachen Geschirr und Kochutensilien ein Upgrade vertragen. Ansonsten war alles einfach TOP und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We had the most incredible stay at Lace House! The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous—spacious, beautifully designed, and right by the sea. One of our favorite parts was being able to climb down the rocks straight into the ocean. It truly doesn’t get better than that, especially for a surf trip! A huge shoutout to the wonderful team on site—Udaya, the manager, was warm and welcoming, and always ready to help. And special thanks to Praboda , the chef, who really went above and beyond. He graciously prepared a crab dinner for us on our first night, and it was hands-down one of the best meals we’ve had. The food throughout our stay was fabulous—fresh, flavorful, and served with such care. Thank you, Katy, for hosting us in such a magical place.

WOW this place was better than the photos! Fantastic location, spacious villa, clean pool, comfy beds, aircons in all rooms. Walking distance to everything! loveeeeed this place so much :)

We were so lucky to discover the Coconut Cottage as our first place to stay in Sri Lanka! Andy was an incredible host, booking us transfers from the airport, meeting us at the house on arrival, sharing a wealth of local knowledge and was super friendly and responsive during our stay. The house is only a two minute walk from the beach, cafes and restaurants of Hiri and very clean and stylish – and we all (family of four) loved the pool and back garden (and watching the monkeys swing around in the trees!). Thank you Andy and Sachira for a fab stay! Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Pav's was the best experience ever, we couldn't ask for more! It is off the beaten path, which is fantastic as Mirissa gets more overrun. Pavithri and her husband were incredibly kind, arranged activities and cooked for us; the meals were the best we had our entire trip. The house is absolutely stunning, and the pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days. Honestly, they have undersold this house and should charge more. Pictures can't do it justice, you need to book and see for yourself. We are so grateful for our stay and will absolutely book here again!!

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x

Overall we had a great experience, was there for my bachelorette and the staff really put up with us. Only complaints- a few of the lights and fans were not working and were not fixed. We were definitely given tap water, one of the can was filled with tap water, I’m assuming they ran out of water in the night and one of the staff had no choice but to serve us that. Would still give the stay a 5 star review was the host was kind enough to help with local recommendations and the staff was there to help whenever asked.

Beautiful villa in great location close to the beach! Jude the host was very responsive, helping us arrange taxis and meeting us at the property. They were also flexible with check in/out times which was very helpful. The property was amazing, large and clean with security guard on site. Jude and his wife also cooked us an amazing dinner one evening. Would definitely recommend!

The stay was extremely comfortable; located in proximity to several beautiful beaches. The bnb is very aesthetically pleasing and completely matches the pictures provided. It also has all the requisite amenities as mentioned in the description. Don, the host, was very helpful and accommodative to our requests.

A perfect space and location to endure a peaceful time with my partner. The host was extremely accomodating and helpful. The space is exceptionally clean and very picturesque like the pictures that were advertised. It was a perfect stay to end our Sri Lankan trip before going back home. I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting enjoy peaceful moment and reconnect with nature.
