We were greeted by Lucia and she was such a pleasant lady. The place was nice and clean and nicely renovated. We enjoyed our stay and there are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes in the area and Matera is a half hour drive to see the Sassi’s

La casa di Cosimo è in ottima posizione per la visita di Matera, è pulita e ben tenuta. Il signor Cosimo è gentile ed accogliente. Vivamente consigliata!

Un bel appartement sous une voûte avec une vue magnifique sur la gravina. Le petit déjeuner le matin est bon et peut se prendre sur la terrasse face à la vue et au soleil. A deux pas de l’appartement, les Sassi de Matera et le pont tibétain s’offrent à vous. Nous recommandons largement ce logement ! (Pour se garer, armez-vous de patience. Mais tout vient à point à qui sait attendre !)

The location of Flavia's place is incredible and the space itself- wow! To stay in an actual cave is a step back in time, very special. It's spacious and everything was perfect. Flavia was the perfect host, responding quickly to everything we needed, providing local information and more. If you're coming to Matera, you need to stay in this special cave home.

Abbiamo passato un Capodanno indimenticabile in questa casa accogliente e luminosa. Siamo stati in sei, quattro adulti e due bambini. L'appartamento gode di un'ottima posizione. Salone ampio con comodi divani e pianoforte, letti comodi, archi a vista, vista mozzafiato su Matera. Per arrivare si devono salire un po' di scalini e un'ultima rampa di scale ma ne va davvero la pena. Avevamo a disposizione caffè, thè, biscotti e taralli. La cucina è provvista di fornelli e pentole ma non è consentito cucinare.

What more could we have asked for in a romantic weekend getaway?! Marilisa and Raffaele are amazing hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. They were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and wants. Located about 30 minutes away from Matera and about 50 minutes from Taranto, Laterza is the perfect mid point for a mountain/beach weekend. If you don’t want to travel much outside the area, Laterza itself is a beautiful city to soak in as well. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again!!!

Super consigliato, sia per l’appartamento che per la gentilezza dell’host. Emanuele è stato dal primo momento super gentile e disponibile, veloce e cortese nelle risposte. È stato molto gentile da parte sua anticipare il check in di un paio d’ore, visto l’arrivo anticipato. La casa è super, tutto mega pulito, molto riscaldata e dotata di qualsiasi confort, dal Wii fii alla cucina super attrezzata. Inoltre, super vantaggio, il poter parcheggiare l’auto e muoversi tranquillamente a piedi in quanto la casa è ubicata vicino a tutto. Se cercate un posto dove soggiornare a Matera, vi consiglio assolutamente La Casetta. È stato tutto perfetto, il che ha reso il soggiorno super piacevole!

El alojamiento es muy bonito, la casa muy cuidada, instrucciones claras y precisas para llegar allí. Está muy bien equipada y muy céntrica, perfecta para dar un paseo por la ciudad y verla bien. Lo único malo, ajeno al alojamiento por supuesto, es que siendo sábado hubo varias veces que nos despertaron durante la noche grupos de gente de fiesta. Igualmente lo escogería de nuevo y lo recomiendo.

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

First of all…. Matera. If you’ve been, you understand what I mean, if you haven’t yet…You should. Secondly, when you do visit, you should stay here. From first communication, arrival, and departure, Michele was friendly and accommodating. The apartment is perfect for a stay at Matera because it is close to everything, near great restaurants, hiking, and has one of the best views of Sasso Caveoso from the private patio. This is the second time we stayed here and will again if in Matera. Just book it! You won’t regret it!

Abbiamo soggiornato da Maria Antonietta in otto persone, quattro coppie, durante il ponte del 1/11/2024. La struttura, situata a Santeramo in Colle, è in una posizione strategica per visitare località come Matera, Altamura e alberobello. Anita, ci ha accolto mettendoci a disposizione un appartamento ampio e curato, dove abbiamo potuto scegliere quattro delle cinque camere disponibili, tutte eleganti, comode e dotate esattamente come descritto su Airbnb. La pulizia impeccabile, la disposizione delle camere che garantisce privacy, l’attenzione ai dettagli degli arredi di alta qualità ci hanno subito colpito. Il cortile-giardino con patio arredato è perfetto per momenti conviviali, e la cucina ben attrezzata ci ha permesso di organizzare cene in compagnia. Anita è sempre stata disponibile, offrendoci consigli utili e accogliendoci con tatto, anche omaggiandoci di prodotti locali. Un soggiorno con un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente, in un luogo dove ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa.

Petra’s place was fabulous and Petra is a welcoming host who makes you feel at home. From her gentle and caring welcome when you arrive to her authentic best wishes when you leave she is the consummate host. Petra guided us to an amazing local restaurant and the breakfast vouchers provided opened us to a world of delicious traditional food. It is easy to recommend Petra’s place to the traveller who is seeking quality accommodation. Thank you for hosting us.

L'appartement d'Andreina est très bien situé tout près de la cité ancienne qui est une incroyable découverte ! Elle a su s'adapter à notre horaire d'arrivée, tout est propre et accueillant chez elle !

J’ai été merveilleusement bien accueillie par Ida qui est une femme vive et charmante. Elle a participé au développement culturel et à la revalorisation de Matéra et saura vous conseiller au mieux pour comprendre et apprécier cette époustouflante petite ville. Sa maison qui est placée au cœur de la vielle ville est facile d’accès. La chambre est très jolie, confortable et d’une propreté impeccable, la vue par la fenêtre est magnifique. Ce fut un plaisir de rencontrer Ida qui comme le suggère son intérieur et une personne de qualité avec une certaine originalité, son enthousiasme et ses conseils m’on été précieux pour ce court séjour qui à été intense et mémorable.

Luciana’s place is definitely one of the best Airbnb-places I’ve been! It has become rare that the host is present, so we were so delighted and happy to meet Luciana and her family in person. She really is a wonderful host, you’ll get all the tips and help from her you need. Il Sasso e la seta has a great location not far from the railway station, just in the middle of Sassi di Matera. We valued especially the terrazza with a splendid view and the big bathroom. In the room you’ll find everything you need, even a small fridge and a kettle. But one thing, which makes this place so special, is the amazing breakfast Luciana prepares for you every morning. After enjoying it on the terrace you’re ready to discover Matera’s sights and climb all the numerous stairs up and down the hills. I definitely recommend Luciana’s place for your stay and I really hope to come back in near future. Thank you once again Luciana 🧡

L’alloggio di Mariagiovanna é un amore. Lei é gentilissima e il dettaglio di portarci i cornetti per colazione e un bel pezzo di focaccia ci ha fatto molto piacere. Altamura é stupenda.

La chambre que nous avons loué était impeccable. Le point le plus positif de cette location est le point de vue de la terrasse ! C’est juste magnifique. Le seul bémol était la douche qui avait une variation de chaud à froid. Mais dans l’ensemble nous recommandons cette location qui est très confortable et très bien située dans la cité. Évidemment il faut savoir qu’il y a beaucoup d’escaliers tout autour pour se déplacer à Matera. Cela fait partie du charme ce cette ville du moyen-âge. C’est un coup de cœur assuré. Et les restaurants sont incroyables.

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte die ich je auf Airbnb gebucht habe!! Super freundliche Gastgeber mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied. Schon beim ersten Betreten der Unterkunft haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Sie ist sehr liebevoll und detailverliebt eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist echt perfekt. Man ist in wenigen Minuten direkt in den Sassi von Matera. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La ubicación es cómoda cerca del centro y metida en los sassi con muy linda vista, Monica es muy amable, nos explicó que lugares visitar y nos sirvió un desayuno muy rico y completo. Lo recomiendo
