This was a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. We loved all the windows and views from every room as well as the location in Mathews. It was close to town where we enjoyed meals at Richardson's and White Dog. Being close to beaches with excellent walking was a plus for us. We were in Mathews to research family genealogy and had a successful search with the invaluable help of the genealogist at Mathews Library. William was a friendly and responsive host before, during and after our stay and helpfully arranged for warm, sunny weather during our whole stay.

We had a wedding to attend with 13 family members and a dog. The placement of bedrooms gave us the flexibility to accommodate everyone comfortably. The two and a half bathrooms made it nice with so many. We loved the porch on the second floor with the great view of the bay, but it rained the only day we could have used it. The kitchen was well stocked with items to make breakfast for all. Everyone loved this place and would recommend to everyone.

We loved our stay! The house was absolutely gorgeous. It felt like an older house but with all brand new appliances and electronics. The furniture was super comfy, and it was such a peaceful location. I spent quite a bit of time in the hammock with a book and it was so quiet and serene I could hear a hawk’s wings flapping as it flew overhead. And the sun room was perfect for relaxing outside of the elements on rainy days! Highly recommend this home, we will definitely be back in the future!

This is a great place to get away from it all. It has beautiful views of the water from almost every room in the house. the kitchen was well equipped for cooking & socializing at the same time. The neighborhood was very quiet and it was easy to get to the community beaches & docks.

I've been renting on Airbnb for many years. I can honestly say this is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was pristine including the pots and pans. The rental was stocked with everything you would need for an enjoyable vacation including a wonderful coffee station. There were so many movies, board games, kayaks and toys. The views of the bay were incredible! Every morning we would sit on the porch and watch the herons, geese and swans. A couple of times, I had a question and texted the owner. The response was immediate! The townspeople in Mathews County were equally friendly, polite and courteous. We used all the owners' recommendations. I could not say enough good things about this rental and town. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again.

This Airbnb was very convenient to Severn Yachting Center. We were able to work on our boat all day and enjoy being in a home at night. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Super safe area that is right on the water! Communication with owner was top notch! Highly recommend staying here!!!

The place is perfect for a group. Comfortable rooms, kitchen and couch area. Add in the games room and you have everything you need for fun nights. We were in the area for a sports competition and this location is only 10 minutes away.

I had the most amazing weekend stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing time away. What really made the stay special was how accommodating the host was for our dog. They made sure we had everything we needed for his comfort, and there were even some thoughtful dog-friendly touches around the property. The location was also ideal, close to everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind with friends or family, and it’s perfect for pet lovers too!

We were in town for our son’s wedding and enjoyed our stay very much. Jason responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

This little camper is a true gem on the Chesapeake Bay. Morgan was an excellent host. She was responsive and helpful. We weren't able to hook up to WiFi, but that actually made our stay even better because we weren't distracted. This cozy little camper is super cute and functional. The view is stunning. And falling asleep to the sounds of the waves was incredible.

Our only complaint is we wish our stay could have been longer! Gorgeous views, lovely home and so many thoughtful details for guests. 10/10, no notes. We felt right at home and will stay here next time we’re in the area for sure!

For a single or couple, with a dog in tow, Thomas's apartment is perfect in every way- matched description so no surprises, very easy to get to and access restaurants or walking trails, clean, cozy and many necessities provided. We try to take our sweet Ralph (who is deaf) with us a few weekends a year, and this was an ideal dog-friendly option. The yard was fenced in and easily accessible from the unit. Thomas offered lots of options in the area and was very responsive. We felt right at home and will definitely return!

Great house to stay. Very clean. Golf cart is a must. Don't have to walk anywhere. We will stay here again or maybe his other house on the island. 😁

My parents and I stayed here for four days. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for us. The place was really cute, two bedrooms with queen size beds, a large bathroom, and the cutest kitchen-living room area. Gloucester is a sweet town to hang out in, and the host gave some great recommendations for local places to check out. Wonderful place, we will be coming back!!

We absolutely loved our time at this property! The interior looks just like the photos. It is fresh, clean, uncluttered, cheerful, quiet and comfortable. Loved the combo of traditional cottage features and modern accents! Chip and Courtney always answered my texts instantaneously and were very pleasant to interact with. Loved being able to walk right across the street to the Seafood Shack where we enjoyed delicious food. We also had a fun evening driving the short distance to Gwynn's Island where we ate at Hole in the Wall (great views and delicious food). We didn't get to take advantage of the fire pit out back, but it would have been a fun place for S'mores making. A HUGE bunny did visit us out back. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone and would return here ourselves. Thank you!

We love this house! Our dogs love to sit in outside porch and they have lots of room to play outside.

Trilogy was an awesome campsite! Our kids were amazed by the floating tents (as were we) but there was still room to pitch an on-ground tent for those squeamish of floating. The covered eating area was a bonus. The site was very private and the view of the stars was incredible. We visited both public beaches that were close and both were gorgeous. Fun last minute getaway for our family!

I almost don't want to write this review because this place is THE gem amongst hidden gems that I selfishly want to keep under the radar, but Ian is such a great guy, I feel compelled to help bring attention to his beautiful property. He is also a phenomenal host that will make sure to accommodate whatever your plans are. If you want to be left alone then you will never see or hear from him, but if you need something he will take care of ya immediately. As for the sites, they are absolutely top tier. Super clean, well furnished, and blissfully peaceful. The beach is a quick walk or ride away and even though it's technically not a private beach, it may as well be. Just go stay and you'll only be thinking about planning your next trip back! Thanks again Ian! See you in a few months my friend!

Space was great for our family and larger than depicted in photos. Access to the beach was easy and stunning.

This spot is one of my favorite airbnbs so far. My bf and l learned how to fish and catch crabs for the first time and we had so much fun. It was pretty private and the views were great. I highly recommend this place.
