Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lakeside cottage in the Irish countryside. The location is peaceful, set an hour away from Galway, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The cottage itself is cozy with a view of the lake, Lough Mask, right from the window. The host, Maura, was welcoming and hospitable. She made our stay extra special by bringing over a delicious Christmas dinner for us, which was a thoughtful and generous touch. She also provided us with fuel for the fireplace, which added a warm, comforting atmosphere to the cottage. She was always available to answer any questions we had as well! The cottage was also exactly as described—charming and well-appointed. Staying at Maura's gave us a great opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the serenity of our surroundings. Overall, this was a lovely stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Irish countryside. Maura's hospitality truly made the experience memorable.

I booked to accommodate myself and partner and closest family for my wedding. Property was beautiful, spacious, clean and Marian was truly an exceptionally kind and responsive host. Cooking was a breeze in the well furnished kitchen and our guests were comfortable and warm in their quarters. There was sufficient space and facilities to entertain our families ranging from guests with lesser mobility and a 3 year old. The views from the house were stunning, and the location perfect. My wife and I were thrilled that everyone with us enjoyed their stay and we have many fond memories which will last a lifetime.

A place where i would like to visit again in the summer if i get a chance. Me and my friends families enjoyed the house and my kids really enjoyed the table tennis board that was in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and cookware. Andy was always in touch to help with anything that we needed.

Margaret is an amazing host and the house is fabulous! We all felt right at home, the place was very clean, cosy, had everything we needed and was very warm and comfortable.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in Isobel’s 2 bedroom apartment (1 double with ensuite & 1 twin with a full bathroom next to it). The apartment was spotless and we appreciated the little extras which were left by Isobel including bread milk & chocolate bars. Isobel’s welcome on arrival and her recommendations for food locations were very good and she also explained the lovely short-cut to town through Westport House which was very helpful. Thanks very much Isobel, we had a very memorable time in Westport and it’s also well located to visit other lovely places including Mulranny & Achill so we hope to go back to stay there again soon.

We had a lovely stay. The house by the lake side is simply wonderful and Sorcha was a kind, warm and very helpful host. There is plenty to see and do at a short driving distance from the accommodation. This place is a gem !

We loved this private place that had so much character! There was so much old structure charm to the building, yard, and decor. Plenty of space, amazing water pressure in the shower. Bed was a bit hard and springs were noisy, but we would definitely stay here again. Also, great location - could walk to some local pubs/restaurant, but was nice to have a car (parking available) to take in some of the attractions in the area.

Such a beautiful and tranquil little haven. We spent two nights here with our little Bichon Frise. It was the perfect place for exploring the area and a lovely pub down the road which allowed dogs in. The place was very private and a modern fresh airy feel. Perfect place to relax in after being out for the day. Highly recommend this Airbnb

Carmel's cottage is super cozy, we felt right at home. Everything you need is available. Carmel is a super lovely and friendly host and her dog Bella makes it perfect. She is so cuddly, loved it.

The apartment was clean and stocked with everything we needed during our stay. It was clean and tidy and looked just like in the pictures - so it all was spot on and really a small home away from home! We were really comfortable in the place and enjoyed being able to walk everywhere since it's located in the heart of town. Mark was friendly, proactive and responsive and made the stay, check in and check out super easy with thorough and easy to follow instructions. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely stay, beautiful appartment, modern, had everything we needed. So comfortable and abaolutely spotless. Fresh scones on arrival, milk butter, tea, coffee, bread and cereal for breakfast. Regina was a fantastic host, very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay again.

Three nights is this lovely village. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen with easy parking right outside the apartment. Cheers to friendly John Burkes pub with live music 7pm each night and good food too! Enjoyed hiking woodlands to Guinness tower and Ashford castle in Cong.

Wir haben die Ruhe und die schöne Umgebung sehr genossen. Das Cottage hilft einem dabei, den gewohnten Alltag zu vergessen. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist in alle Richtungen besonders! Man blickt entweder auf Berge, Loch Coulin, Kühe oder Schafe. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Informationen sind sehr ausführlich - doch wir haben es auch nicht geschafft, den schnellsten Weg auf den Mount Gable/Binn Shléibhe zu finden. Wir sehen aber das Herumirren - das auch von anderen Gästen dokumintiert wurde - als lustiges Abenteuer an, das zu diesem Aufenthalt dazugehört ;)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le cottage de Dolores et Joe. l'étage offre une magnifique vue sur le lac et d'agréables balades sont accessibles depuis le cottage. L'intérieur est typique et cosy, idéal avec des enfants. Dolores et Joe sont des hôtes très attentionnés. Une halte idéale pour visiter l'extraordinaire Connemara !

La maison est à quelques minutes de voiture de Clifden. Mary communique toutes les informations nécessaires pour le trouver. C’est un logement magnifique qui est situé en pleine nature. Un beau lac est à proximité et visible depuis la maison. Il est bien équipé et très spacieux. On peut faire facilement de la cuisine pour tous les repas. Les chambres sont spacieuses et dotées d’une salle de bain chacune. Mary a été très attentionnée à notre arrivée et durant le reste de notre séjour. Elles nous a donnés beaucoup d’informations utiles sur les commerces aux alentours. Nous recommandons ce logement parce qu’il a répondu à nos besoins (famille de 4 personnes) On recommande pour sa proximité de nombreux sites touristiques comme kylemore, le parc du Connemara ou la Skyroad. Pour finir, nous recommandons aussi pour la bonne entente avec notre hôte. Ce fut une bonne expérience qui donne envie de revenir. Merci

What a charming place! We loved staying here.

We had such a lovely stay. This was one of the most beautiful surrounds we've seen, a quick walk to the beach and central to the rest of the island. The fireplace was an added bonus for the rainy weather! Deborah was friendly and responsive, and gave us great recommendations. We'd definitely come back.

The Derrypark lodge was absolutely amazing! Even though the weather was a little temperamental (we knew this is what we were getting into visiting in March) we went out and braved the wind and rain to explore the area and the lodge felt so cozy and homey when we came back in the evenings. The surroundings around the lodge and the lake is also breathtaking. The house stays warm and has a wood stove. Has all modern amenities including washer/dryer. The beds, couch and chairs are comfortable. We had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and kind and stopped by to check on us and see if there was anything we needed or questions. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your generous hospitality!
