Clodagh’s studio was perfect for our stay, clean, fresh, clutter free and compact, had everything we needed ! Clodagh went above and beyond, even collected us from the train station, which is at the far side of town. The main area of Castlebar town is within walking distance.. We were going to a show at the TF Royal, which is approximately 1.2 km away and walkable ☺️ I would not hesitate to recommend Clodagh’s studio to anyone, we had a lovely, comfortable stay ☺️

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Die Aussicht und die Lage sind soooo gut!! Für Connemara-Liebhaber ein wirklich toller Spot! Das Ferienhaus ist mit dem nötigsten eingerichtet. Wir benötigten noch einen zusätzlichen Topf, den uns Carmel zügig zur Verfügung stellte. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Es fehlte nur hier und da an Ablagemöglichkeiten (in den Schlafräumen und im Bad). Aber wir konnten uns damit gut arrangieren.

Un logement très joli dans un endroit magnifique au cœur du Connemara. Un grand merci à Martha et Sandy, les enfants d’Alannah, très sympas, réactifs et disponibles, qui nous ont dépannés à plusieurs reprises pour rejoindre Letterfrack et Clifden (nous n’avions pas de voiture). Cela a été très agréable d’échanger avec eux pour mieux connaître leur très belle région. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de notre séjour dans un lieu si unique.

We had a great stay at Conor’s place! The shower pressure was awesome and the view was lovely. The location was absolutely beautiful :) great area for hiking.

Perfect place with astonishing views to enjoy a few peaceful days, and explore that awesome West coast of Ireland! The place is as described and shown in the pictures, so really outstanding with no issues, really. The owners were super friendly, very flexible, and helped immensely with tips and advice about where to go and what to do. Of course, you will need a car to get there and explore the surroundings.

We got lost in a dark and rainy night, and our host was kind enough to send her husband on a search and rescue mission. We felt at home straight away. The surrounding area is gorgeous, the Atlantic Ocean is good for swimming and beautiful waves and beaches. Proper Irish hospitality and great rooms to explore the nature of Ireland. Hope to visit again!

Irene and her family were amazing hosts, making great recommendations, place was beautiful and immaculate, and we felt right at home! We would 100% stay at Irene’s place again and again!

Louise was very prompt in providing all of the information I requested. A dedicated parking space was available off road and hidden from the main road. The kitchen contained all of the equipment and basic groceries which I needed for my stay. The bathroom was clean, spacious and well lit. Finally the bed was very comfortable with a lovely warm duvet and cover. This was very important for me.

From start to finish - our stay was just perfect! Aggie was such a welcoming & attentive host and we loved our stay in Drop Anchor!!! We’re a family of 6 and the apartment was perfect for us!! Every morning we did the hour walk / loop around the stunning lake & beach!!! It was pure heaven! And following Aggie’s recommendations - we had a yummy dinner in Oliver’s Seafood Bar & Restaurant in Cleggan and then hit Clifden the next evening and had a gorgeous dinner in Mannions & then over to Ravi’s for live music & a great trad session!!! We would definitely recommend Drop Anchor for a winter retreat! Aggie even spoiled us with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies after one of our walks and dips in the ‘Baltic’ sea 🤣🥶🤣! Thank you Aggie for being so welcoming & we look forward to coming back again very soon!!

A lovely little hideout, perfect for one person or a couple Claire's place is very peaceful and beautifully located - and very close to anything you may need e.g. shops, restaurants etc It is a well-furnished place, with the minimum kitchen equipment one may use. There's also a washer AND dryer, which is not often offered ... extremely helpful when the Irish weather turns to its wet side :-) Claire is extremely fast to respond to any queries; also very helpful - including offering local advice if you need it. All in all, I had a great experience and would recommend this place anytime!

We had such a lovely stay at Seans place. It was spotless, homely and in a beautiful and peaceful area! The beds were comfy, the bedrooms were a generous size and each had their own ensuite. The living/kitchen area had everything you needed and was a comfortable place to sit together, when we were in. Sean was easy to get in contact and very responsive whenever we reached out to him. The instructions to enter the property were easy and clear and he also had a list of taxi numbers written down, should we need them. He gave us room but at the same time was warm and friendly when we did chat - the perfect balance for a host! We will absolutely be going back to this property when we are next in the Belmullet area.

We had a fab time staying at Inish Rua it was perfect and even though the weather turned out quite stormy which is to be expected in February in Ireland. We still had fun exploring Achill island and we had a very relaxing comfortable stay. My son’s favourite part was the pool table and play station in the games room which was a lovely addition. Hope to be back soon. Thank you for being so accommodating, we had a great time.
