Absolutely my favorite place to stay in Mt Shasta! One can't beat the location, price, or beautiful lodgings. Being situated away from the train and next to little road traffic, made for a lovely and quiet stay. There may be a few issues: 1. Water-conserving shower head is minimal, but there is plenty of hot water and tall people may have to stoop a bit 2. Sofa back has a bar that is uncomfortable, but one can use a pillow 3. Bedroom door knobs are a bit loose, but who cares? The positive attributes far outweigh these issues. The unit itself is light, airy and well-appointed. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the sheets are beautifully soft. Split heating units in each room, so guests can adjust the temperature to their comfort level. The price was incredibly reasonable! Kitchen has everything. Angela, the co-host was fantastic. I appreciated the kind and professional delivery of all the clear and justifiable rules. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate New Year’s with our family. The house is very spacious, with large, bright rooms and a huge living room perfect for gathering together. It’s equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is super convenient — the neighborhood felt safe and peaceful. Despite being near the train tracks, we barely noticed it, hearing only a couple of faint whistles over three days. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return!

This house was perfect! It was really cozy and had everything we could have wanted. It was pretty apparent they put a lot of thought into making the house inviting, plus it had an amazing view of Mt. Shasta!

The house and property were awesome! A great place for a family/kids. Lots to do in and around the house. We really enjoyed the little sledding hill in the backyard and the propane fire pit on the deck. The house was very clean too. Rana was very responsive and helpful as well

Absolutely perfect accommodations for our 7 person girls book club weekend ! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Everything was just as described except the kitchen, which absolutely EXCEEDED expectations. Lots of appliances (toaster, multiple coffee machines, waffle maker etc), spices, utensils, and counter space. We made every meal at the house! 3 separate outdoor spaces, the beds were very comfortable, and the electronics were and added bonus. A truly stunning home that offers just as much comfortability as it has in aesthetics. Renters should note it is very close to neighbors and the interstate but that didn’t affect our stay in the slightest. The ladies were already talking about booking it again before we even left!!

Great place to stay. I’ve stayed here many times for work and I’m always very satisfied with the cleanliness. Christy is a wonderful host, always friendly and helpful!

We loved our stay at Elegant Stay! Everything was excellent - impeccably clean and organized, even better than the photos. The location is amazing, and the view is definitely stunning. Howard and Mary were great hosts, helping us with everything we needed. We stayed for a month, and we will definitely be back!

The location was perfect, close to the ski park and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive from start to finish.
