We had a great time and this place was perfw t for our needs. Look forward to staying again. I would, however, place orange cones or some other safety device over the horseshoe stakes as they could be dangerous with children or pets running around or even being out in the evening.

Amazing to walk out the door and into some of the best hikes ever! Watching the stars through the skylights is incredible. Andrew's place has everything stocked and all you need and more for a great adventure.

The property was very clean and peaceful. The sounds of the river were relaxing while having coffee on the porch. Although the GPS indicates you have arrived, it takes you to a field. Keep going—there are two entrances to the driveway. The first is on the left, labeled "41," and the second is an unlabeled left turn. The drive up was easy; there is still a lot of aftermath from Hurricane Helene, which was expected, but there were no issues getting to and from the property. The grocery store is about 20 minutes away, which isn’t bad. The kitchen has everything you need, except condiments (which is also to be expected). Take advantage of the free tickets they offer! There is a mouse, who I’ve named Henry, so don’t be startled if you hear him at night. Overall, I had a great time—it was very quiet, and the hot tub was incredibly relaxing. I would recommend this place and would definitely return.

Phenomenal host and I cannot say enough about the property. The house was pristine and had everything you could think of for entertainment! One of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at! We will certainly be back!

Our stay was great! This is the perfect getaway for a peaceful weekend. The property is beautiful, the house is beautiful, and the hot tub was SO nice.

Didn’t want to leave! This cabin is amazing! So cozy and warm. So many cute spots to curl up and read. Our dog loved it too! Would definitely book again!

We had such a great time at Bill's place, and Bill is such a nice host! This was by far the best Airbnb experience we've ever had! We can't wait to come back! It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the amazing mountain views. The movie theater room was a blas. It totally took us back to the days of renting DVDs. Bill even had popcorn and a super cool popcorn machine, which made it even more fun. There is a grill for barbecues and a bunch of games, including a PlayStation 2. The house is full of surprises, and It kind of feels like exploring a museum, with cool and unexpected things everywhere. Just a heads-up—there isn’t a grocery store nearby, so make sure to bring what you need. Once you’re there, you won’t want to leave this awesome place!

Michael was very responsive and a great host. Home was beautiful, clean, and just as described. We appreciated Michael providing us with several cases of water. Would highly recommend a stay at Michael’s home and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

We rented this cabin for a family week in the mountains and feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon this gem. Swiss Miss is a peaceful, beautiful very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin has all the amenities needed for a fun week of cooking, relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the mountain air. There are numerous overlooks and hikes nearby for adventure enthusiasts. Also, for shopping convenience, a Walmart located 8 minutes away. Don't let proximity to restaurants and shops fool you, this cabin is up a gravel drive and really seems quite private during the full foliage of summer. Highly recommend for families with fur babies as the backyard is a great spot for everybody to play and enjoy time outside together. 10/10 will stay again.

Loved the house, especially the side porch great place to go sit and have coffee. The sound of the creek made me want to stay outside the whole entire time. Can’t wait to go back!

Clean, peaceful, dog friendly, lovely cabin with a fenced yard. Everything you need with all the comforts of home and xtra touches for your furry friends. Close to town and walking trails so we could spend the day shopping, enjoying local restaurants, exploring, hiking/walking trails and the evenings back at the cabin enjoying the deck out front and later the fire pit outside. Looking forward to our next visit! I think our dogs enjoyed Black Mountain and the cabin as much as we did!

This is our second stay at Indigo Retreat and we plan to return again next summer. It has the most beautiful surroundings and the rushing waters from the creek are very tranquil. We highly recommend to everyone else.

This is the cutest little cabin to unplug at! When two small issues arose, Kathryn was quick to try and help. I would stay here again in the spring—hot water line froze overnight which was absolutely not her fault, and she attempted to fix it with everything in her power. It’s also a smidge loud next to the major highway but only if you’re sleeping in the living room on the futon! It was so adorable and made me want to redecorate my own house. The queen bed was super comfy according to my mom and daughter as well.

This was our second stay. So beautiful and cozy! Great basement with games; darts ping pong, basketball, video games. Great kitchen for simple cooking and dining. We had a fun filled family vacation with snow tubing at Hawksnest. The snow storm did not scare us a bit, we enjoyed it!!!

The cabin was incredible! Exactly as shown in the pictures. It was cozy, peaceful, and absolutely breathtaking in every way. The perfect destination for a weekend away!

Loved it so much we came back again! Amber's cabin is clean, attractively decorated, fully kitted out with lots of homey touches, and despite being out in the country the internet is fast. Already looking forward to our next stay!

Words fall short to describe how amazing this Cabin is and its location. Our stay here was more than we could have asked for and a gift especially this time of year. From the locals, to the nature, to the exact spot where the cabin is located, the details inside the house and the amount of inside and outside activites... this is the perfect choice for a getaway in that area. The creek that runs along the house is a blessing also, the sounds and views all day are amazing. I would recommend this a million times!
