Lisa’s home was very quiet, peaceful and set in a beautiful mountainous location. This house is a haven for those with respiratory or allergy issues as the cleaning products used are unscented. She was very clear about the gravel road leading to the house. There is about 1.7 miles of gravel road, but you can easily drive this in a small sedan- do not discount this rental just for that- it is in an absolutely gorgeous area. There are neighbors but we could not see or hear them! The house has a one-car carport and a covered porch with grill and table plus comfy chairs for lounging. The primary bedroom is upstairs with a bathroom, kitchen and living room and first TV. Two secondary bedrooms and a bath are downstairs as well as the washer and dryer and second TV with lounge area. The house is on well water so do not expect city water pressures. We had an issue with the coffee pot and one smoke detector batteries acting up and Lisa responded almost immediately with replacement!

Katie’s place was everything she described and more! It was in a beautiful and peaceful location and it was spotless! The hot tub was clean and really enjoyable. Instructions were clear for check in and check out. There was plenty of things to do at the house so even though it rained on one of the days we were there, there was still plenty of games and things to do at the house and we were never bored. Katie was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. She was also very friendly. We had no problems with our stay and I would definitely recommend Katie’s place! It was an awesome stay!

Good: Thoughtful and considerate about small details people might need when they are traveling, ex- first-aid kit, female hygiene etc. Neat and clean place. Extra spares like blankets and other stuff. The place is peaceful, close to nature. Things to consider: The other bedroom doesn’t have an isolation between bath and bedroom. It would have been good to have blackout curtains near the entrance door. And actual door or some form of partition there.

House was amazing. Very clean and organized. Everything was as advertised. Hot tube, grill, fire place, outside fire place. The hosts were accommodating and flexible. They responded almost immediately. If your thinking of staying in the area then you should not get any other place but this one. We also were able to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday here while on vacation. it was amazing.

The house was just the right size and location for our visit. We all felt at home. Will look to use again in the future.

My family and I recently stayed at Corinne’s place for Christmas as my mom lives nearby. It was a perfect Airbnb for us - absolutely beautiful house and views, plenty of space, kitchen and laundry were ideal. We did not use the sauna or the downstairs but they looked great too. Internet was fast and beds were comfy too. We hope to stay again when visiting family!

Loved Donna’s place!! It was so enjoyable for my family, the covered deck is so lovely to sit outside and look at views, we found ourselves constantly going out there! We felt right at home with all the amenities, would love to stay here again!

My husband and I loved staying in Brad's home for a week this spring - the cabin is wonderfully remodeled and has a welcoming, quiet, cozy vibe. We enjoyed the beautiful, serene surroundings - I spotted a few deer nearby. The kitchen was well-appointed and organized, and the bed was comfortable. It's also just a short drive into Morgtanton. We enjoyed our stay and hope we'll be back!

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Romer’s place was a nice place to stay! Very cozy and clean. Romer was quick to respond and friendly.

We loved this space! Extremely clean. I thought it was nicer than the photos, cozy, private and comfortable. The bed and bedding was super comfy. A perfect cozy long weekend! We loved the outdoor space. The hot tub was great and very clean. We also enjoyed the porch swing. The space was a 4 minute drive to downtown Black Mountain (not walkable though, you do have to go on a highway), an adorable downtown area with lots of restaurants, shops, ice cream and coffee. We were 20 minutes from Ashville. It was a very easy drive to Ashville. Would definitely come back! It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The area also felt very safe.

Definitely recommended Phil was great and his wife for the homemade cookies upon arrival beautiful scenery place is really awesome looking forward to going back this time with the kiddos hopefully as the place is very family oriented

Guy's place was awesome! Our stay was comfortable and entertaining. We only could stay one night, but we'd love to come back. Highly recommend.

Romer & Carolina are amazing hosts! Very responsive and helpful! The place was prefect for me. Its so beautiful around there. Love it! Thank y’all for being great hosts and letting me stay in your cute little apartment. Will definitely recommend them and will stay anytime I’m in Spruce Pine.

Loved and it was close to a lot of stuff and had a late start so they let me sleep in a lil longer and I was greatfull for that and it was my first time in a tiny home opened my eyes to more and more thanks a lot for letting me experience that time in your home
