Listen. I don't want to tell you anything about this place. I want to lie to you and tell you it was mediocre. I want to tell you that I didn't find a single thing enjoyable and didnt wake up to dolphins. I want to tell the deck was boring and bed is made of wood. the truth is.. I found a gem and so have you. Ditch the kids and take you wife here. bring some bug spray and some simple foods. I didn't plan to stay put and that was a mistake. You should plan to stay and not go anywhere. Also. lamas look like aliens in the dark.

Honestly, my family had a blast staying at this home! We absolutely would stay again if ever in the area! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing home that is in close proximity to Jekyll Island, Brunswick and St. Simon’s!

This place is a dream. Tranquil & serene. Perfect for a quiet week. Karen was extremely responsive & resolved all issues in a very timely manner. She is a doll! Very accommodating

Loggerhead Lodge is a true gem! We absolutely loved the house—it was so spacious, comfortable and we all had a wonderful time. Beds were dreamy and the comfy sofas and chairs were really relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Jenna collected us from the ferry and drove us to the house, and was super responsive when we had queries. She went above and beyond in terms of communication and helping us out during our stay. Thank you for coordinating the rescue with Chris when we locked ourselves out of the car! Thank you as well for bringing us fish one night—how lovely of your husband to share his delicious catch! We loved the Island—long walks along the sandy roads, boardwalks and the beautiful Nanny Goat and Cabretta Beaches. If you are going when it is cooler weather be prepared—the house is toasty but the largest room which is gorgeous in the heat-- gets really cold at night. We’d like to return to take full advantage of the screened porches with the swing beds.

This house is very peaceful and Don is a great host. The town of Darien has a few restaurants and a grocery store. We enjoyed spending time on the screened back porch and taking in the beautiful sky after dark. We also spent time kayaking in the marsh with the provided kayaks. If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is a terrific place.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans la maison de Caleb. Nous avons bien profité du très grand spa et de la magnifique cour arrière ensoleillée. La piscine était un peu froide (début mars), mais avec le spa, c'était parfait (on pouvait passer de la piscine au spa!). Mes enfants ont fait un feu en soirée et ont joué aux arcades. L'endroit est extrêmement tranquille. La cuisine est très bien équipée (on peut vraiment cuisiner), les lits sont confortables et le grand sofa est invitant pour les soirées cinéma en famille. Petite note : il y avait café, sucre, sel, poivre, huile d'olive, quelques condiments et collations à notre passage, ce qui est toujours très apprécié. Nous avons visité Savannah (à environ 45 minutes) et le Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge (à 13 minutes).

This home was a great weekend stay with family! We felt right at home. Think grandma’s house with extra cozy, eclectic vibes and extremely clean. Christy responded promptly. We would love to stay again.

We really enjoyed staying here! Beautiful home that we all loved. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The only thing we were bummed about was that the pool was not heated (We assumed it was since it was available all year long) but after looking at the listing again it did not indicate that it was heated. Alvin was a great host and was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was beautiful, very clean and so peaceful! Wonderful views! The house has everything you need, clean kitchen, clean bathrooms, plenty of towels, and very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend to anyone.
