A nice, quiet and private place to stay during our weekend visit to Eugene. Very close to two grocery stores. We stayed during a very cold couple of days, but the wall units kept us cozy. We definitely would have gone out and enjoyed the rhododendron garden in the back but for the cold weather.

We had low expectations for a girls weekend and just wanted a cozy place to hang out and this was the place and more. The outside seating ended up being our favorite. Being able to listen to the river and cook our favorite foods was all we needed. The host was very friendly, helpful, and went out of her way for us to have our little fires.

My only comment is that it seems to me that for a number of reasons, including safety and potential liability, it would be a really good idea to install grab bars in the shower. Also, for the same reasons, it would be good to have a different bath mat. The one that is there now could easily slip under foot when stepping down from the shower floor. There are bath mats that have nonslip material on the bottom. Other than these things, we really enjoyed the cabin and the surrounding natural area. We also stayed there last year for about ten days.

Beautiful location, perfect winter weather, great views from the home, outstanding hosts, and a cozy home..a great long weekend getaway for my family. My son commented that the bed was the most comfortable he’s ever slept in! Tough to beat Black Butte and Jessica’s place did not disappoint! Plenty of games and sleeping spaces, kitchen and coffee bar were well stocked, and the home was shiny and clean!

We rented this cabin to celebrate my son's 16th birthday at Hoodoo with a few friends. The cabin matched photos exactly and we immediately felt at home. Plenty of room for four teens and mom and dad. Clean and peaceful. Joseph was really great with checking in and sharing local recommendations. We all very much enjoyed our stay!

A nice little spot that has two cool dwellings. A fun little getaway in a nice neighborhood of south Eugene. The only downside is the place is tucked away in an alley so parking is really tight. If you have one car, it’s not as big of a deal but if you’re not using the garage, it is.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it had everything we needed. It was cozy and very relaxing. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our second time to stay here on a ski trip and we enjoyed it very much again. The place is comfortable, clean, close to great activities. It is a short walk to the restaurant, hot tub house, playground, and more. Would definitely recommend.

Carole was extremely responsive and very kind. Appreciate her flexibility -:) and her accommodations were exactly what we needed.
