Super cute place and in a really good location! Lots to do super nearby. The towels/sheets has some stains and were miscolored on almost all of them which was a little odd but other than that the place was great!

Such a perfect vacation with the perfect place to stay. Karin was a lovely host, giving us wonderful local recommendations and showing us around the place. This place is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the national park and stay near by. It’s also walking distance from many places in Trinidad so it was nice walking to dinner every night

Simple and comfortable place to stay in the village of Trinidad. Walkable to the harbor, market, breakfast, fresh seafood market. It is not fancy, but it is roomy and clean. Our family of 4 would definitely stay there again. We had a great time hiking the redwoods and beaches and do not need fancy digs with a hot tub and sweeping views (plenty fantastic views nearby). That said, there is a nice little backyard with table and chairs. Very enjoyable stay.

Very impressed, extremely clean, all amenities had been thought of. Beds, so comfortable. Cut my finger and there were bandages. Towels were so nice. We were very impressed overall. Not one thing to complain about. If we owned an Air B&B we would only hope it was this nice. Truly a great place. Plan on staying again.

Place was perfect for my family and I. We even brought along our corgi. Patricia messaged me the day before our arrival that she would let me know if we could check in earlier and it worked out perfectly as we were tired from the long drive and were able to check in a little before our scheduled time.

Beautiful home! Location was great and felt secluded, bed was super comfortable and had everything we needed! Loved our mini stay and would love to come back if we're in the area again!

Very comfortable house equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen and bath supplies - including spices, ziploc bags, paper towels, tissues, laundry soap, lotion, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Nearby Mad River Beach was a beautiful place to visit and a very nice drive! Gas and groceries very close by too.

This was a lovely place with an excellent view! We were in town for my daughter's graduation from Cal Poly Humboldt so it was a great place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves. My sister-in-law lives in McKinleyville, so we'll probably come back next spring or summer and hopefully stay there again!!! Fantastic view, lovely accommodations and amenities! Highly recommend!!

This home was everything it was advertised to be. Great location, amazing views, awesome host. Especially enjoyed the well put together/classic interior decor!

Pilot Rock Cottage was a perfect destination and Steve was a wonderful host! The cottage was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable. Terrific view of Trinidad Bay from the front windows and porch! Walking distance to restaurants and hiking trails. Easy launching point to visit other attractions in the area. We would love to stay there again!

Zanobi's home was perfect for us! They take great pride in their home, and it shows!! We appreciated its cleanliness, and the game room was just too much fun! It was very nice having a washer, dryer, and dishwasher as we'll be staying here every time we come up to Eureka to visit our son. Zanobi himself was an incredibly kind and helpful person. The wall heater didn't work when we got there (we rolled in around midnight), so we used the electric fireplace overnight to heat the space (it's a small'ish space, so it didn't take long), but first thing in the morning, with our permission, of course, he came over and fixed it! He was also super chill about check-out time, which we really appreciated because we had a long (10-hour) drive back home.

This was a great home away from home! Located in a safe neighborhood, private yet close to amenities. I loved the backyard, the nice TV, modern heating system & comfy bed. Would definitely recommend! 🙂
