We loved staying at this farmhouse! It was so peaceful and quiet and we loved the visiting dogs and the friendliest cows we've ever met! Chad and Sarah answered all my questions and were very helpful. The kids want to come stay again! The place was big and spacious and decorated so we felt right at home. They had every amenity was could want and offered to sell us wood for the fire pit, which unfortunately we didn't use because of the weather.

Paula and her team were great hosts! Communication was easy, and they were very responsive. The home was perfect for coming down to visit our daughter for the weekend at ISU. We would definitely book again if we needed a place to stay. Thank you!

Lovely old brick home in a quiet neighborhood next to a garden that I bet is beautiful in the spring and summer. We were a little too early in the season to see any flowers and plants but you can tell it will be very nice in the warmer months. The home itself was very clean! It is an older home with lots of character and very comfortable. We slept very well. The main bathroom was large and clean and there was plenty of clean towels (that are very plush) and toilet paper. Bring your own soap and shampoo. If ever I have a need to stay overnight in Bloomington-Normal I will stay here. It was ideal!

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! BJ was a phenomenal host and even made sure to bring out the patio furniture so we could enjoy the wonderful weather. He was accommodating to all guests. I was able to bring my dog and it brought me so much joy to see how happy my dog was during the stay. BJ also communicated well and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. I requested a later check out and he allowed us to stay until 5:00P.M. which gave us more time to enjoy the lake as well as pack and clean! Arrival was easy due to the clear instructions BJ provided. He left dog bowls and there was water in one of the bowls which made me feel like my dog was welcome (it’s truly the little things). He left water and other beverages for us. The house was spotless and absolutely beautiful!! I can’t describe in words how gorgeous the lake view is from this house. You feel like you’re right outside when cooking and watching movies. Overall, I had a great stay and will return!

The kitchen isn’t stocked completely with things you might need.
