Beautiful spot to spend a wedding weekend. My wife and I felt right at home the moment we walked in. Would absolutely stay again and couldn’t recommend enough!

Our family loved Honey Farms! From bird watching, fishing, and peaceful evening walks, this place was perfect. The house itself is so homey and has all the amenities you could want. It’s a short drive to town, but so peaceful and easy! 10/10 recommend and will be back!!! 💕

House is beautiful inside and out. Very spacious , and the spa pool felt amazing. The neighborhood was quiet . Everything we needed was there. The host was very nice and made sure everything went smoothly.

I really enjoyed my stay and we are already planning to stay again if we go back to Waco. It was not the least expensive place to stay but I am not disappointed that I spent the money. It was definitely worth the price. The home was beautiful and well kept. Too cold for the pool but the hot tub was amazing. It would be nice if there was a blanket that was kinda thin- medium though. All of the beds had big comforters on them which I loved but it did get a bit hot for me. I can’t wait for my next trip to Texas!

The house is so beautiful and a perfect getaway from the city life. The house is very authentic and has so much of history and culture in it. Absolutely loved the place and the backyard too! Would definitely visit again.

We traveled to Waco for an academic trip with a group of college students. We had plenty of space to spread out, everyone had their own beds and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed grilling out and loved the beautiful outdoors. The night sky was gorgeous, and even though we were 20 minutes from Baylor, it was an easy drive and well worth the space and quiet serene country air. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time in Waco as a family. The house was a perfect spot to walk to Magnolia and kick it by the pool in the backyard. The hosts were very helpful and responsive anytime we needed help or recommendations.

Chris’s place was very quiet and relaxing. It was well stocked with everything we needed and immaculately clean. The beds were soft and comfortable and we felt right at home. Chris was a wonderful host.

This home was perfect for our girls weekend in Waco! I loved the location being so walkable to downtown and the Silos. The home was spacious for 2 and a pup (I think it'd be nice for 4 people also). I appreciated how responsive Alicia was!

Wonderful little home. The restorations done by Desiree and her husband were smart, tasteful, and thoughtful, preserving the charm of the house's history while maximizing utility and comfort for modern living. More than the home itself, we really appreciated the many thoughtful amenities that are sometimes lacking in other places - plenty of coffee, basic spices, soaps, trash bags, laundry detergent, et al. Desiree was friendly and responsive every time we reached out. It is so close to many restaurants, the suspension bridge, the park, the silos -- ($6 Uber to downtown??). My only regret is we were too early for the trees to be bloom and weather a bit warmer so we could more fully appreciate the back yard. Many thanks for a very hospitable stay, Desiree!

Clean, well maintained home in a nice neighborhood. Short walk to the lake. Lots of amenities. Short drive to everything we wanted to see. We were impressed and surprised by how pretty Waco is. My sister and I plan on returning and staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home, Matt!

This house blew our expectations out of the water!! It had SEVERAL delicious bakeries within sight view of the home. The bathrooms were enormous and beautifully done. And the house is SO much bigger than it looks online. We hope to rent it again!!

The Mavie House was a perfect spot for a Sister's Retreat! The four bedrooms were all cutely decorated and neat, with beautiful white crisp bedding. The bathrooms were very clean, as was the kitchen. We enjoyed that it was a very short drive to anything we wanted to see (Magnolia Market, downtown, restaurants). We loved the wide variety of games in the living room too! The front porch is enjoyable to sit on in the mornings. We didn't visit the back, but the birds seem to love it back there! We would highly recommend the Mavie House as it was a pleasant stay! Just a heads up: the driveway does have a huge block of cement or something that could scrape your vehicle. I drove very slowly over it and would attempt to maneuver around, but I had a large SUV. This did not takeaway from our stay.

This place is awesome, it’s a diamond in the rough! You would never know how great the place is until you walk through the door. It’s in a not so hot location, but it’s within 10 miles of Waco and is not actually in Waco but the bordering town next to Waco! Great thing about that is the neighbor is a Police officer so we felt really safe. Local food, restaurants, all within 5 min drive and an awesome taco stand about a mile down the road. This a wonderful home, would recommend staying again, the price is one of the lowest yet probably the best deal out there!

This was a great place to stay while in Waco. Very close to the Magnolia/Silo district and walkable. The house itself was wonderful. Very comfortable living room, with plenty of seating. All the bedrooms were great, and the bathrooms, too. Comfy beds and good showers. Loved this house and the decor. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was perfect! The details of the home are lovely, and they considered every aspect of what could possibly be needed or wanted during our stay. Our pups were welcomed, too, and the yard was terrific for them to run, play, and burn some energy. Thank you, Hodson family, for being magnificent hosts.

Fossil Trace Ranch lives up to its name! The kids were able to find fossils everywhere on the property. Each morning we enjoyed our breakfast tea while watching the deer in the back yard. My sister and I came to the Ranch from Ohio to visit my daughter and her family. Each night her and her family came for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped we found the kitchen for this purpose. We were able to prepare large meals and all all sit and eat together. Although my daughter and kids didn't stay at the Ranch (the adults had to work and kids had school) it was really nice to have a lovely, comfortable and welcoming environment to entertain them. We would definitely come back to Fossil Trace Ranch!!!! Thanks again Dan!

We enjoyed our stay! It was centrally located for us to our kiddos. Had plenty of room for us to throw some burgers on the grill and enjoy some family time together! Will definitely be back! House was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend it!

Perfect for our family of 5! We had a wonderful "unplugged" week at Haley's home. We played board games, pool and piano, went on walks, read books and explored Waco. Plenty of space to spread out and everything we needed in the kitchen. The architecture and decor of this place is incredible and so fun! Keep in mind this is someone's home, so while they have left plenty of empty drawers and closet space for guests, their personal items are still there as well. This experience is more like visiting a friend's home rather than the sterile hotel or guest house vibe of other airbnbs. We (including our small dog) felt very comfortable and cozy knowing that we were in a well-loved space. Waco has so much to offer: beautiful parks and trails, lots of disc golf, the Magnolia Silos, coffee shops, a zoo and more! Highly recommend a visit and definitely book Haley's home for an unforgettable experience!
