John and Dave were very helpful and accommodating.

Very quiet, out-of-the-way place. I was there when the lake was down (December) so I didn't get to enjoy the dock, but it looks nice and functional. The recreational room downstairs had a pool table, dart board, and a place to play checkers. The entire place has been remodeled recently. It looks great and everything works! The Host was always quick to answer questions. Would come back again!

Great peaceful stay!! Everything you could imagine in the kitchen and more. The bathroom even had extras of little things you might’ve forgotten to bring with you. Debbie and rick were beyond sweet, friendly & attentive. Kayaks were an awesome addition - highly recommend going out right before sunset to enjoy it. My dog had a great time, the neighbors had super sweet dogs who greeted us on the first day! ( loved them ❤️) Stinging Fork falls is about 30-45 minutes away and is an awesome hike. Lost sea adventures about 30 minutes away. Would absolutely come stay again! Thank you again Debbie & Rick! ☺️❤️

Beautiful home with a view to match on a tranquil lake. Was a relaxing long weekend and would highly recommend. Would definitely book with Mickey again.

My husband, 11 month old and I stayed with our best friends for his birthday and it was perfect! There was PLENTY of space and having 2 kitchens made it really easy to cook big meals (my husband is a chef). The view here is one to write home about. Beautiful sunrises and gorgeous sunset colors. We also like to fish so this spot on the peninsula with a dock to Fish off of was GREAT. Oh! And if you’re into bird watching, this spot has some of the BEST to watch the birds over the water. We even saw a bald eagle fly RIGHT by the house. Definitely are going to stay here again come summer time. Would absolutely recommend this to friends and family.

the pictures do not make justice of how stunning is the place and view!!!! it is immaculate and so cute !! Angela went beyond all needs , everything is there!!!!! games for kids , craft, games for adults, hot chocolate corner , pet toys blankets ,etc etc... and the most appreciated , everything is so clean, which i really appreciated . they were so friendly also we had a great time at their place , and i could not thanks enough to them for sharing it with us !! can not wait to go back in another season thanks again!! We came up for a wedding local to the area and ended up making a vacation out of it. The place was beautiful and had an amazing view of the lake. It was so peaceful to sit outside at night by a camp fire. Rex was very informative and friendly. Neighbors in the area are also very friendly. We will definitely be back!

This is our 3rd year staying here for 2 weeks with our large extended family. We love the house and all the space it offers. We have seen numerous upgrades throughout the years. Clark and Denise have always been very responsive when we do have a question or need anything. This place will always be one of our favorites to rent!!!

My family and I had a great stay at the lazy bear cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. The main goal was cooking a great meal together. The kitchen has every gadget, tray & cooking utensil you could possibly need. Dinner turned out to be a huge success. We played various games together and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. This cabin does sit on a steep mountain. For future guests, the only thing I think you should know is the lake access is a small hike down the hill to get down to the lake. Getting back up to the house from the lake is not for everyone. It was quite the strenuous mini hike up hill for all of us. Maybe it was harder because of the cold weather but it knocked the wind out of all of us. Gazing at the stars at night off the dock made up for it. Being from Miami where we don’t see stars, It’s one of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen. The emotion of it knocked me to my knees as my eyes watered. I also did little hiking as the area is absolutely beautiful.

It was a great stay for us and our friends. It was perfect for kids as well. The home was warm during the winter storm we encountered. There were even food supplies in case of emergency. Then the view of the lake was gorgeous and so picturesque. We will definitely come back and hope to see it in the summer for some fishing.

This beautiful cabin was perfect for a large family! The view was incredible and the environment was welcoming and very clean! We especially loved the thoughtfulness of the s’mores kit for the kids! Russell was very prompt in responding and making sure we had all the details for our stay! The local grocery mart is about an hour away, so it was helpful he noted that in the description so we could stop and get all of our groceries before heading to the cabin. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, a clean hot tub, board games and a large dining table that the entire family could enjoy. The dock and kayaks were in great shape, great fun to fish! We look forward to visiting this home again. Highly recommend!!

Great place good customer service

Our family Thanksgiving vacation was enhanced by this attractive, spotlessly clean, convenient location on the banks of Lake Hiwassee. The outdoor fire pit was a real plus to our son and grandson as was the lovely living area where we sat after our Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The place was great! And the snack basket upon arrival was wonderful after a looong drive!! Everything was great! Really appreciated the clean hot shower after our day of driving! Tim responded very quickly with our questions and was very helpful!! Will be back!

Richard's place was just as described, making it the perfect getaway for our family. It had everything we needed to feel right at home. Such great memories were made by the fireplace as it snowed and remained in the low 20s-30s the duration of our stay. We would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay!! This was such a great find! I can’t get over how peaceful & beautiful everything was - inside & out. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone & everyone, and we hope to visit again during warmer weather.
