The cottage and property were amazing - even better than the photos and description. A beautiful and peaceful retreat in a lovely town/region. Excellent value for money and clear thoughtful communication from Marg. Will look to stay again when in Tas.

Karen’s place is a magical location. Views to Mt Roland and surrounds. Very peaceful and relaxing with everything you could possibly want in a country cottage. Karen and Lilly (Labrador) were really friendly and helpful. The perfect location to explore Sheffield (5 mins drive) and Cradle Mountain (50 mins drive).

Georgeous farm and wonderfully simple cottage with a wood burner and lovely atmosphere which was private , yet with great walks around the farm . There is an amazing walk close by to a viewing platform overlooking a magnificent gorge. Perfect for visiting Cradle mountain as it’s only about 1.25 hrs drive.

Great value for money, this was the best house that we had stayed so far. I will choose this location if I was to return, even there was only three of us.

A lovely quiet apartment within a vineyard with beautiful views down the river. The apartment was as advertised, very clean and tidy. Helen was a great host giving clear instructions and had left information in the unit making it very easy for visitors to find attractions around the area.

We just loved the layout and feeling of the place. Plenty of room for us. Fantastic kitchen. Everything was in pristine condition.

A wonderful and unique farm stay in a beautiful part of Tasmania just a 50 minute drive from Cradle Mountain National Park and at the doorstep of another beautiful, hikeable mountain, Mt Roland. The unit was comfortable, well appointed, and excellently maintained; the fresh breakfast supplies exceeded what most other air BnBs provide; and Tracey and Quinton were most gracious and helpful hosts. Their two dogs Edward and Pippi as well. Overall we definitely had 0 complaints and probably could not easily think of ways to improve. We’d definitely come back if back in the area again.

Loved our stay at Margit's beautiful country homestead. The gorgeous gardens and roaming farm animals were a highlight. We also enjoyed the decor and the comfort of the house. Enjoyed birdwatching the local area, and visiting nearby Woolmers Estate, Longford and the Bridestowe Lavender Farm. Thanks again Margit and Henry for a memorable stay.

Séjour idyllique dans un environnement merveilleux. Tout a participé à la qualité du séjour, de l’accueil de la propriétaire, solidement épaulée par son fils de trois ans, et les animaux aussi accueillant que les humains : chien,chat, moutons, poules, oies, et même des alpagas ! . À l’intérieur du logement remarquablement équipé, une multitude de petites attentions qui ont rajouté à la chaleur et au plaisir du séjour : douceurs dans le frigo, une excellente bouteille de vin de Tamanie, et par-dessus tout un pain au levain maison qui a largement contribué au bonheur de ces quelques jours. 1000 merci. Loved our stay in a beautiful well provisioned tiny house. Enjoyed proximity to animals, although Rooster was an early riser. :) We stayed on warm sunny days so the beautiful deck was only used morning and late evening. Thankyou Jazmine & Wilson

Such a beautiful, homely accomodation. Its hard to find places that have comfort and beauty and this property was both and beyond. The views are stunning and capture tasmanias natural beauty. We would definitely recommend and stay again. ♡

What a fantastic place to stay, spectacular views and modern, well appointed rooms, each with its own unique look and feel. Sharyn and Pat were amazing, welcoming hosts, we felt really well looked after! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in a slightly off the beaten track location!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Echidna Hideaway this exceeded all expectations. The location was truly great, offering convenience and charm in one package. Despite booking late, Luke was incredibly accommodating and ensured a seamless check-in process. The highlight of my stay was undeniably the delicious homemade cookies provided, unrivaled by any I've ever had before. The tranquil ambiance of the place made it so peaceful, creating an ideal retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I would highly recommend this exceptional accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing experience.

We stayed at Quamby Home for a special, multi generational family weekend. The house was beautifully appointed, with every conceivable need catered for. The kids room was delightful - just leaving the kids to argue over who had “dibs” on the top bunks. Great outdoor space, with basketball, cricket and treehouse for them explore. Games and DVDs, books. Lots of space for adults and children to escape to enjoy some quiet time. Felt like we had just walked into a family residence, a real home away from home.

We love this place so much that it’s our 4th visit. Waking up to the splendour of Mt Roland, or having a spa under the stars with the silhouette of Mt Roland as a backdrop is hard to top! Not to speak of the forest, the wildlife, the local town of Sheffield with its great cafes and art galleries and of course the murals too! If you like books and music and DVDs you will find plenty around the Airbnb! We’ll be back next year for sure! Oh and Dom is just delightful and full of local knowledge.

Joanna is a very helpful host. The location of the house with the view of the mountain is stunning. Great location to explore the Cradle Mountain area. We were a group of 4 adults the house would be very comfortable and welcoming for families as well. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were nice & clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Diana and Steve are fantastic hosts! Their farmstay experience was interesting and fun. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, with everything needed for our overnight stay. Breakfast supplies were plentiful, along with various snacks as well. Our stay was tranquil and relaxing. Visits from their dog Logan were an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the cottage, and will return for a longer stay in a cabin next time.

This place is amazing!! We loved our 3 night stay and didn’t want to leave. So many positives. The exterior and interior of the property is absolutely beautiful. The decor is superb with so many extra touches. Extremely comfortable and just an amazing place to stay. Cannot wait for our next visit.
