Excellent stay! Even thouhj the lake is dry, we had a blast exploring the dry lake bed and just lounging around the house. The hosts were wonderful - quick to respond and so accommodating! Great spot for our 3 families for a long weekend.

If you have kids, this place is great for them with the separate arcade room where they can be as loud as they want. We had a couple of issues come up which we should all know can happen, and they were immediately on it and did everything to accommodate. House is about 10 - 15 minutes to Bandera which is a very cool place to walk, shop, and eat, and about a 60 - 75 min to wherever you are going in SA. Six Flags was also much more enjoyable than we expected, and not too pricey.

The houses were all cute and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. There were lots of fun things for the kids to do inside and outside. This is a nice place to get away from the city and slow down a little bit.

This is the perfect place to get away. Wake up yo a TON of wildlife roaming the property and sit back to relax. We will come back here as this was a perfect way to wind down.

Linda's cabin near the river was a perfect getaway spot! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay truly memorable. The proximity to the river allowed us to enjoy nature and relax. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This is our third family trip to Shadow Dance Ranch and we cannot wait to spend time here again in the future! We enjoyed fishing and exploring with our kids—it was so nice to see so many stars at night and our kids enjoyed learning more about the wildlife. We comfortably cooked every meal in the kitchen or out on the grill and truly enjoyed a morning cup of coffee beside the indoor fireplace watching the sunrise. Brian is incredibly kind and hospitable and the welcome information is detailed so you feel right at home upon arrival. Would highly recommend!

Great stay! A very welcoming and beautiful place! I’d recommend booking this place in Spring or Summer as in winter the outside patio it’s too cold but the place itself is so beautiful, well maintained and the communication with the hosts and co-hosts is insightful and very friendly. I loved every minute of my stay here. 10/10!

my wife and I had a lovely stay here. it was quiet and secluded. the evenings star gazing was very enjoyable. we were greeted in the morning by a herd of Elk in front of our door, we were able to sip coffee and watch them. we also enjoyed the trails. having a fireplace and wood really topped off the evenings for us. we really are looking forward to coming back soon and bringing friends.

The app they have is amazing and so easy to use, so easy to have information at your fingertips. I booked the reservation for our guys who use AirBnB to stay at during their time working. They enjoyed the hot tub and the overall trip was great, we rebooked for this week!

This humble cabin was everything we needed for a weekend getaway in the hill country. We enjoyed star gazing, having a little fire, and unplugging. Plus it was close to Garner & Lost Maples, which are great for hiking. I’d definitely be back again!
