Book this property right now! You will not be disappointed! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was more than expected. The pictures do not do it justice! It has alot more space than what I thought it would and there is absolutely anything you could need for cooking including some spices and oils, and of course coffee. The hosts are close by on the property and communication was excellent and so friendly! The views are breathtaking even when it's cloudy and rainy. This was a perfect spot to get away and relax!

Fantastic & beautiful stay! They were sweet to allow us to meet all of their animals!! We loved the secluded location, however the only bummer is that we had no internet/wifi, including use of our hotspots. Which worked out fine, because it allowed us to unplug & be present! But we would have also loved to watch movies at night. The place was extremely clean & Clark & Lora were very quick to respond! Would definitely recommend!

My wife & I enjoyed finding some time outside of the city to reconnect with ourselves, each other, & nature. We explored the rocks, took in the views, & used the hot tub several times! I loved the detailed decorations & the fire pit outside. It was a peaceful & unique stay. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Woodshed! A short drive from downtown Wimberley but away from the traffic. Really enjoyed the hot tub and even watched one of the many movies they provided. The mornings were spent with our coffee on the porch. All for a great price. Debbie was very detailed with both instructions and things to do and see! We will definitely come back!

Loved staying at Freedom Yurt! Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful little get away. Loved how different it was staying here but didn’t break the bank. They gave recommendations on places to see, eat at, etc. which was great to have!

This was our third time to stay here. As always it’s secluded and quiet. Great amenities and decor. A very relaxing and peaceful getaway for our anniversary!

Tamra was super responsive and very kind! The pool area alone makes it worth every penny. Tamra sent helpful suggestions prior to our arrival and the detailed instructions for getting there really helped us. Will definitely be booking this place again for a summer getaway! It was so peaceful and relaxing.

The cabin is adorable with all the necessary amenities. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the wildlife.

Myra and Colin were so chill and very accommodating for my girlfriends birthday. They put up banners, balloons and even wrote a message as well for her before entering the cabin....she loved everything. We had a tour of the property and fed the zebras, ostrich and donkeys throughout our stay....it was really cool and my girlfriend loves animals...especially, the exotics they had from the eland, wildebeest, oryx and the gazelles. This was a FANTASTIC birthday for my girlfriend and she really had a good time overall. 😊 Thank you very much, Myra and Colin for your hospitality.

Very cozy cabin and had everything we needed only 20 min away from Garner State Park. Impressed with amenities like charcoal and wood for grill or pit, s’mores, games, and plenty of blankets.

This is such a special spot. We loved having our meals on the porch and enjoying the beautiful backyard.

Everything with house was perfect! We went for a motorcycle rally and had 4 bikes. It rained and made the long driveway sketchy on the bikes. We were slipping and sliding in and out. That has nothing to do with the house just as information for future motorcycle riders. We would DEFINITELY stay again but would pay closer attention to the weather. Plenty of room for everyone and even saw some deer outside the back window/door. Quiet and peaceful surroundings.

This little cabin was a great surprise. Came here for a few days for my girlfriend’s birthday. Upon arrival, we immediately knew that pictures hadn’t done the place justice. It was a lot more manicured in person and had a awesome view of the river. We drank coffee on the porch every day and bird watched/deer watched every morning and night. The bed was comfortable and the couch was just enough space to cozy up and watch a movie on the TV. Our dog is great off leash, and with supervision he had the time of his life down by the river. Bandera was an awesome town, and again, we were pleasantly surprised by all they had to offer. We are excited to go back and spend more time in the town of Bandera. The stay overall was basically five star, but here a few things to know: The road to get to town is windy and hilly and dangerous at night so be careful. Bring your own steak knives. You’ll have to space your showers out at least an hour apart or be prepared to shower in cold water. Thanks!!

It is safe to say that our family has made Callie's cabin our favorite retreat. Just 20-minutes from our home in San Antonio, when we stay here we feel like we are completely alone with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We love that the cabin is always amazingly clean and well-maintained, yet we love that it feels older and is very rustic! Callie is always super communicative and extremely prompt in replying to any question or request. I probably ought to stop writing these reviews because we hope the calendar will never be too full ;-) as you can bet we'll keep coming back!

Julie’s place was great! It was a perfect place to get away with our pups, and it was close to Camp Lucy for a wedding we were attending. Would love to stay again!

A great getaway near the river! We appreciated all the extras that were included i.e. kayaks, floats, life vests, towels that we needed to enjoy the water. Everything was nicely labeled to help find items within the home. Plenty of items to cook meals. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at our little cabin! It was located right on the river and was the perfect size place for a weekend trip.

David and Athena have done an absolutely amazing job with this place. We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations. David and Athena put thought into every detail, and it shows. Very comfortable, very clean, very peaceful location. David and Athena are also very warm, welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back. The cabin was beautiful, looked just like the pictures, perfect for families! Also, the cabin came fully stocked with everything you need, to cook and clean. Had some challenges with TV, streaming apps would go in and out having server connectivity issues but overall did not negatively impact our stay. The windows are huge and really allow for a great viewing experience, the fire pit and grill also are a great thing to have. Look forward to coming back, especially once the construction is fully complete, and amenities are available. Host Jacob, was very kind and responsive, the one thing I would recommend is that the shower water pressure and temperature be improved, I saw similar feedback in a review and was hoping it would be addressed prior to our stay but water pressure for hot water, was very low. Location was Amazing!! So close to H-E-B and other food places etc. My family and I would stay again in a heartbeat, really enjoyed our stay!!!

This was our second stay at this property and we absolutely love it. The hosts are very welcoming and easy to communicate with. It’s a very secluded property and great for anyone who loves nature. The sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing are all amazing!!

Super clean property so glad we booked last minute the cabin was very cozy had such an amazing time with my wife and kids. Jennifer was very quick to respond to all our questions would definitely be coming back!
