We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! A cycling weekend in February needed a warm and cosy space to come back to. The hut certainly was that once the wood burner was lit. Linda's team was really responsive and helpful. Owls and brilliant stars at night as a bonus too!

Absolutely loved our stay! We will absolutely be back. Such beautiful Shepard's huts and so close to everything, yet hidden away! My 2 year old daughter loved sleeping in 'Peter rabbits house' and waiting for her egg and sausage bap in the morning. Thank you

The hut was in a picturesque area with lovely views of the hills and local village, it was cosy and felt homely. It was a little chilly in the evenings on a windy night where there was a bit of a draft through the windows but the log burner made up for the heat once that was stocked and lit.

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

I had the most amazing stay at the Corner House. Marina and Martyn were so incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. They have put so much thought into every aspect to ensure their guests have an amazing stay. The Green Room is beautiful, peaceful, has the most comfortable bed and stunning views of the garden. The garden is stunning and peaceful. Cake and tea available on arrival was a wonderful touch. I was blown away by how fantastic the breakfast was. The best produce, so much choice, a real feast and Marina is a fantastic cook. I will miss it! If you are thinking of staying, don't hesitate, just book. You will not be disappointed. Thank you both so much. Just wonderful.

Tracys place was absolutely breathtaking, the animals and the views were spectacular. Tracy was such a good host, just soo welcoming and relaxed it made us feel at home even more

Beautiful rural getaway!! Chloe was so helpful with making sure the hot tub was ready for the evenings, the shepherds hut was a perfect escape for us as a couple, with beautiful views, privacy and a very cute lodging with everything we needed. The furnishings and details in the shepherds hut were so lovely and made a very small space feel like a cosy home. Super easy to find and enjoyed a couple of nice walks in the area. Will book again!

Wow what a special place. Dreamy hot tub and outdoor fire. The hut is decorated like a luxury hotel, lots of small special touches - fire wood to make a fire; board games to play, bath robes and slippers. We had the truly magical two nights away - perfect for some romantic time. We nipped into Wells on Saturday for the market (bus/car less than 10 mins) picked up lots of treats then enjoyed a lazy Saturday evening back at the hut under the stars. Lou was fantastic host, she helped set up the hut for my girlfriend’s birthday before we arrived which was incredibly kind and much appreciated.

Clare and Luca have created a unique space to unwind in nature. It’s private with plenty of space to enjoy inside and out. It was a special treat having a wood-fired hot tub and pizza oven and all the little details made everything extra enjoyable.

Where to start!! Jayne was an amazing host. From the moment you arrive at the blue hut, to leaving. You felt completely relaxed and happy. Jayne had left some bubbles, marshmallows and biscuits to make s’mores which was 10/10. My boyfriend and I loved the stay! All the amenities you could ask for from the hot tub to the bbq, farm shop down the road and the amazing views. The bed was so comfortable and the shower/ bathroom was spotless! We would both really recommend Jayne and the stay at the blue hut! Thank you Jayne!

My partner and I had the most incredible stay, we cooked on an open fire, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and bathed in the hot tub looking at the stars. Angela was an amazing host, the place was perfectly described and no stone was left unturned. We did take a stroll to 2 of the local pubs and ate at one of them on our second night but we were looking for rural, peaceful and private and the hut delivered all that and more. We took a stroll after check out to stour head as per Martyn’s recommendation and it was beautiful. We fully intend to return sometime in the future. A lovely place with top-quality touches and great attention to detail. We had such a relaxing stay - it was so peaceful looking out over the fields with horses. The bed was comfortable, and the whole space felt warm and welcoming. Parking was easy, and we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket with breakfast items, drinks, and snacks. Dilly was a fantastic host, and the location made for a nice walk into Lacock. We would love to come back.

Stayed at the hut for two nights in March. The hut was well equipped with all the basics, the bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was made all the more better with the night sky and the peace and quiet. Look forward to staying again

We’ve stayed at a fair few shepherds huts for short breaks, and have stayed at some lovey places. Laverstock Farm goes straight to the top of our list! Absolutely stunning location, amazing facilities and a host who clearly prides themselves on guaranteeing a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the little shepherd hut. Everything was as described. It was very cosy and once I got to grips with the stove, it was lovely and toasty (& when I came the nights were very cold). Rustic & simple, but had everything I needed. Loved the quirky garden too & felt very private. Thank you. Heather

Beautiful tranquil space away from the pressure of modern life. Stunning railway carriage, thoughtfully presented with everything we needed. Bottle of fizz chilling in the fridge a lovely touch.

Anthony’s shepherds hurt was beautiful, it’s just like the photos, the bed is comfy too. The hot tub was so private due to fencing, however there are houses Infront of the shepherds hut which is the back of peoples properties, maybe in the summer it’s more private due to the trees having leaves, but we just put the chairs where the hot tub is for more privacy. The shepherds hut was so lovely and so clean, and Anthony was a brilliant host, left us goodies and put thought into it, which meant a lot to us. The hot tub was lovely and Anthony started it off before we got there and it was perfect temperature, loads of recommendations given by Anthony and when we said about going into bath he recommended a car park, 25 minutes drive to bath, 10 minute drive to Bradford on Avon which is beautiful. Perfect location and perfect 2 day trip, will definitely visit again. Thank you :)

Such a lovely hut, great views to the countryside, very clean, amazing private garden to let the dogs free. I will totally repeat and definitely recommend to others. 🩷
