A great getaway from the everyday! Peaceful and quiet. The arcade was great. A few of the games didn't work but it didn't deter us from having a good time! Our daughter said it was "EPIC"!

Had a great stay visiting wine country with friends! Centrally located and just as described.

This property was stunning and the perfect spot for our bridal party during a busy wedding week. John and Wendy were incredibly accommodating, especially with the service animal and the bride’s needs. While the shower pressure could’ve been stronger, the water was consistently hot, even with multiple people showering back to back. There was plenty of bedding for our group, and the upstairs King bed had some loose slats, but it was an easy fix. If you move around a lot at night, sleep closer to the stairs. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we had plenty of space to store our food throughout the week. The surrounding nature was beautiful, with daily deer sightings, frogs, and a forested view of the ocean. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway near both the ocean and Fort Bragg.

Fantastic views of the local coast, Tomales Point and Pt. Reyes from the house. Easy access down to some quiet beaches via the trail across the street. The kitchen was the best equipped rental I've ever used, which was perfect since we were planning to cook up an epic seven course dinner! All around a great stay in beautiful Bodega Bay.

My husband, our daughter and her partner enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Barbara’s place. The views and sounds of the ocean were amazing! We strolled across the street for a long walk along Portuguese Beach, enjoyed cooking meals together, reading, hiking, soaking in the hot tub, the fabulous steam shower! The beds were quite comfortable and the layout of the living space was perfect with expansive views from the living room, kitchen and main bedroom. The 2 additional bedrooms and separate baths made it super comfortable for 4 adults and could easily imagine as well for 6. Not an issue but for awareness - when it rains the storm gutters are noisy, but otherwise it’s a super peaceful and serene experience. Highly recommend this beautiful home and its location and will definitely return!

We love this place. We've been visiting every year for the past several and find it just what we need for a chill Mendocino Coast winter vacation: a secluded house looking out over the countryside with the ocean in the distance; hawks riding thermals just a few feet away outside the huge living room windows; a wood fireplace. The house is set up like someone lives there, someone with really nice taste--kitchen with food processor, slow cooker, baking stuff and a waffle iron; lots of books about local people and history; decorations everywhere that shout Mendocino Coast. But it doesn't feel like you're intruding on someone else's space. Tough to balance those but this place does it. And most importantly hosts Tammy and David are super. Instantly responsive and utterly thoughtful. We're already planning our next trip back.

Nice and convenient to Harbin Hot springs. close to grocery and a few restaurants. Nice country area with great view of mountains and horses. Peaceful except for a bit of road noise, but it wasn't too bothersome. We would have appreciated some better quality bathroom towels, washcloths, more dishtowels etc. Jakob responded right away to questions about heater and lack of washcloths. He brought some wash cloths over with an hour. overall, very nice stay. Would recommend this place as good value.

This is our second time here and we just love it! The most beautiful views and it's perfect if you're hoping to have a little more privacy between two parties staying there (in our case, my husband, I, and and our kid in the main house and my parents in the other house). Also always appreciate the baby and kid items provided. We will be back!
