Neil and Eva were amazing hosts! They accommodated multiple changes in my reservation, and very responsive. home was beautiful and clean, great location out of the wind of the main lake. Every thing we needed was there. plenty of room for 3 trucks with trailers. launch is really close to home and made extremely convenient for launching and mooring! Slip in channel can accommodate only 2 boats, not 3 if owners boat is in slip. My wife and I will definitely be back soon, thank you again for everything!

La vista al océano fué lo mejor de todo, avistamiento de ballenas desde dentro de la casa, al atardecer hicimos una fogata con vista al mar, fué increíble. Tome fotos hermosas fotos para el recuerdo. Me encantaría regresar.

The house was lovely! There was a pond and creek so we didn’t need a white noise machine with the wonderful chorus of frogs. It was close to downtown, although not very walkable due to the nearby freeway. We enjoyed the little fireplace for ambiance. The kitchen did have some pots and pans, an electric kettle, and both a regular coffee maker and a French press. The kitchen wasn’t well laid out to do a lot of cooking, but small meals were easy. Dish towels would be a nice addition. We didn’t use the studio upstairs but it did look lovely. My only issue was in getting in. The host provided easy instructions but I didn’t think to save them in an offline way, and didn’t have great cell reception upon arrival to get them loaded. I recommend making sure you know the access instructions prior to arrival! The host graciously gave us local recommendations and was very responsive. Would definitely book again.

This place was a awesome! Great location with a vineyard vibe to it. It's also close to a winery as well. Angelo was helpful and responsive to help us out with our stay. Hoping to book again when we come back.

The best centralized location for Mendocino, Fort Bragg and Casper. We were able to see all major attractions all with coming back for meals and being able to relax. The best beds I have ever had in an Air BnB.

We spent the Labor Day weekend here. The house was great - clean and enough spaces for 2 families. The house was at the channel of the clear lake- basically at the entrance of the lake. We brought our inflatable SUP boards and had a great time going into the lake and go look at the houses in the channel. Our kids had a great time in the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped and enough seating for all of us. Definitely recommended!

Absolute magic. Kira’s house is a unique treasure in the redwoods. She was easy to communicate with during our stay and the place was exactly as described. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

While we had high expectations from Jo’s farmhouse given the reviews, even these expectations were substantially exceeded. Our family of 4 had the most wonderful time and we greatly enjoyed the expansive grounds, old and beautiful cypress trees, the deer and the immaculately clean house. Jo’s kindness, thoughtfulness, aesthetics, eye for detail, were all evident in her farmhouse. Everything that we needed was at the right place, in great condition, and often of premium makes. Our only regret was that we couldn’t spend more time here. We would love to come back to easily one of the best AirBnB experiences we have had.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days to get away from the city. The place was cozy and comfortable and the area was quiet and we were able to relax and enjoy our time in Fort Bragg. we hope to be back again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Kerry’s place in Mendocino. The location was peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was close to stunning, walkable trails with beautiful views of the ocean, birds, and unforgettable sunsets. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was truly magical. The home was cozy, clean, and well-kept, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kerry was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience seamless. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by natural beauty, this is the perfect spot. We’d love to return in the future!

This is hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, Renee was proactive with her communications, flexible, and responsive. After booking, I had a concern that the space might not get warm enough with only a wood-burning stove (boy was I wrong!). When I expressed this concern, She was willing to work with me. When I got there, it was absolutely stunning, private, nestled in the redwoods in one of the most beautiful places in northern California! It was not too far a drive to the coastline or into town to Mendocino. The space feels somehow both cozy and totally spacious. It feels much less like a cabin and more like a fully stocked, fully furnished apartment with comfortable and beautiful furniture. And yet it’s still nestled in the comfort of the woods and has a rustic feel about it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and am sending the listing to all of my friends.

Great cabin in a beautiful location! We had 7 folks staying here and there was room for everyone. Living room is especially well equipped to handle such a large group. Laurie and Greg are so nice and helpful.

Lovely cabin surrounded by forest. Great walks just outside front porch. Comfy cabin inside. Such a great place to just hang out in, and of course, the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area is filled with more incredible nature. We had a great time and plan to return!

Lovely little cabin in the woods that was the perfect landing pad for my friend and I while we explored Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Especially enjoyed the sun coming through the trees in the morning and the cozy fireplace!

This is our second time here and we just love it! The most beautiful views and it's perfect if you're hoping to have a little more privacy between two parties staying there (in our case, my husband, I, and and our kid in the main house and my parents in the other house). Also always appreciate the baby and kid items provided. We will be back!

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

We had a nice stay and Matt was great during our power outage. Probably best as a summer destination but we liked the rain.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Huckleberry. It’s a magical place in a redwood forest with a well appointed main cabin and two fun additional buildings for sleeping - a fantastic tree house and an Airstream. The main building has whimsical art and a warm, family feel. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies. The heaters and hot water work well. We were very glad the our dog was welcome to come. He enjoyed running around in the meadow. There were a lot of mushrooms on the grounds during our visit so be vigilant with your dog on the meadow. The town of Point Arena is close by. We recommend Izakaya Game, a Japanese pub which is right in town (be sure to make reservations) and the Arena Market & Cafe coop. Also the Stornetta Public Lands is a great place for a very scenic and easy hike. On previous trips we’ve enjoyed the B. Bryan Preserve wild animal sanctuary which is on the same road. We would be very glad to stay at Camp Huckleberry again.
