Beautiful property that worked well for our group. Great pool and the views and amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. The host (Rob) is very helpful and responsive and can help work through any issues. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Nancy’s Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked, Nancy was incredibly communicative and friendly, making sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth and enjoyable visit. Her warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. The highlight of our stay was the private beach—having such easy access to the water was a dream. We loved taking the kayaks out in the morning, paddling along the calm waters while soaking in the breathtaking landscape. The entire property is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Inside, the home was just as wonderful. Large windows filled the space with natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The morning was especially delightful as we enjoyed breakfast bathed in sunshine, with serene views right outside. It was the perfect way to start the day! We can’t wait to come back!

Seamus is the host with the most. He has set the bar high for other hosts! He called to ensure we got checked in ok, had a fire ready to light and a bottle of wine waiting for us. There are clear instructions all throughout the house for how to use amenities and run things. The house is well stocked with everything needed to enjoy the outdoors, cooking, sight seeing info, games, books, binoculars, cozy throw blankets for chilly nights on the deck, even popcorn. The beds and bedding are luxurious. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. By far, the best rental experience for us.

Starling’s rest is a very spacious for our group of 10. The place is very well stocked with all amenities and kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. The highlight of the space was its location. It is located in a very private location with no neighbors in sight. We couldnt use the pool as it was closed in winter but we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

The best centralized location for Mendocino, Fort Bragg and Casper. We were able to see all major attractions all with coming back for meals and being able to relax. The best beds I have ever had in an Air BnB.

I almost hesitate to say how great this place was so that it stays a hidden gem that’s available to us for stay after stay. It has stunning views from every window, is more spacious than it appears in photos and exceeded all of our expectations. Particularly fabulous were all the stunning houseplants - including some two stories high - that were all healthy and happy. We could not believe this is a dog friendly place - there wasn’t any evidence that a dog had ever been inside. Immaculate. Ted was responsive and friendly. We hope to be back soon!!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. It was private, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We loved being able to get away, wind down, and check out from reality. It was an awesome bonus getting to watch deer feed in the pasture beside us as we sat in the hot tub.

Just right for a girlfriend’s weekend getaway. Quiet yard, secluded from neighbors. Enjoyed our days out on the coast, dinners in town, and back to the house for long talks, laughter, and evenings soaking in the hot tub under the stars.

My husband and I stayed here during our recent honeymoon road trip through northern California. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed the treehouse, hammock, homemade breakfast, and toiletries in the shower.

Downstairs has a very modern look and is well furnished. Upstairs could use a bit of an update. Stairs are very steep. No curtains downstairs kind of lessens privacy. Other than that, very nice in good area.

Exceeded my expectations...perfect cozy private getaway...was visited by tuxedo kitty..loved the animals...will visit again soon.

PROS: Very private and secluded. You can only see neighbors from the kitchen window and they are still kind of far away. Surrounded by nature- can feel the energy of the trees and hear and see the ocean. Very quiet. Hot-tubbing under the stars was awesome. Floor to ceiling windows with incredible views. Decor is retro-charming- we loved it. Exterior is well designed- the home blends into nature well. Deck is perfect for morning meditation, coffee, breakfast, and workout. Romantic and cozy. Highly recommended. We had an amazing time and loved the place. CONS: Decor is retro- which may not be for everyone. Heater is loud if you leave it on overnight. There is a smell, probably because the cabin is made of redwood, you stop noticing it once you get situated. Can feel dark on foggy days - we didn't mind. One broken jet in hot tub- made loud noise. Have to pick up and drop off keys in town- but that's fine, b/c you get to check out the town. No pears ;)

This 4 bed downstairs unit was great for our crew of 4 guys on an XC motorcycle trip. The cedar hot tub was an epic bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Huckleberry. It’s a magical place in a redwood forest with a well appointed main cabin and two fun additional buildings for sleeping - a fantastic tree house and an Airstream. The main building has whimsical art and a warm, family feel. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies. The heaters and hot water work well. We were very glad the our dog was welcome to come. He enjoyed running around in the meadow. There were a lot of mushrooms on the grounds during our visit so be vigilant with your dog on the meadow. The town of Point Arena is close by. We recommend Izakaya Game, a Japanese pub which is right in town (be sure to make reservations) and the Arena Market & Cafe coop. Also the Stornetta Public Lands is a great place for a very scenic and easy hike. On previous trips we’ve enjoyed the B. Bryan Preserve wild animal sanctuary which is on the same road. We would be very glad to stay at Camp Huckleberry again.

We had such a magical stay at Elaina’s cabin. Just what we needed for an all-girl’s birthday getaway. The cabin itself was so cute, clean and in the perfect location. Spent the first night settling in and playing card games by the fire pit then hot tubbing. Close to awesome hiking trails on the coast that we definitely took advantage of with the pup. The stay exceeded our already stellar expectations. Just wow✨
