Jerry took care of us so well! It suited all 4 of our separate tastes and needs. We could not have been more lucky that Jerry’s place was available for our very special getaway. It’s central to everywhere we wanted to go and he was terrific helping us with some last minute adjustments. We can’t be more grateful to him as a host. Our new home away from home when in SF. Had a short assignment at a job site 1/2 mile from apartment which made my life easy. Abdul works in Fremont so we both were coming and going with different schedules. He cooks and I cook a little and we never had any issues with sharing kitchen which was well stocked with utensils. I have a hearing problem but never had any communication issues. He has many friends at the complex and everyone looks out for each other. There were no noise issues or unsafe feelings. Alameda is a great town with many restaurants and lots to do if you are vacationing. I have enjoyed staying at many Airbnb locations in US and Japan and meeting a wide range of interesting people.

Excellent place to stay! I had a long term stay. Check in was very easy, Amy was always quick to respond, the apartment was fully stocked, and the internet was very fast. Description and pictures are all accurate. Highly recommend.

These 2 lovely souls blew my mind , I have never felt while traveling and showing up ..that I was exactly where I needed to be and with whom. These are some amazing people they went above and beyond to help me and my husband feel that I was safe, coming alone myself this journey. Great place , anywhere you need to go boom, easy peasy I spent one day Haight, then downtown getting ink therapy , another at the aquarium! The cats are there if you ever feel lonely to snuggle and love ya :) what a gorgeous home they have made that I was happy to be sharing , and Doug will make you feel like his family as will Richard who always looks like he just came off a movie set especially when he sweetly says hello and makes your morning cup of joe … I treasured this and will be back ! Truly cannot wait!! thank you both so much, to any fellow travelers as long as you are a good being of the planet, this is the place to stay. Om mani padme hum

Don’t get me started on how spectacular this home is. Perfect location- near haight & ashbury, as well as Golden Gate Park. Amenities on fleek. Lovely hot tub was hot n ready. Bear rug was inviting…

Sammi is a friendly and responsive host with a lovely one-bedroom space. The place was exceptionally clean, cozy, and exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was perfect for what I needed. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

Large room, large bed, and plenty of dresser drawers to unpack our luggage. We felt right at home using the kitchen, hanging in the salon, or taking a break outside. Very comfortable working remotely from the desk inside the room. Great neighborhood with plenty to do.

I had a lovely stay in San Francisco at Cory's flat! It was a very vibrant and welcoming home in a great neighborhood. The Mission District has great coffee, food, bars and live music all throughout it. The flat is also two blocks away from the BART that goes directly to and from the airport so it was so easy to get around. Cory provided some extra amenities in the room, such as sunscreen and ear plugs which was so considerate. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone traveling to SF! Ollie the cat is adorable too.

As a family of 4 with 2 adolescent kids, we couldn't have been more pleased with our 3 days stay. Jim, the house manager who lives downstairs, played a big part in that. He was very helpful and friendly to everyone. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to stay in the Sunset district. Public transportation very near, good food and coffee, easy access to the beach... We felt like most of the issues mentioned in previous comments had been addressed, except perhaps the door codes. The shower is new and pleasant. The apartment is very convenient, the beds are confortable and the house has a lot of character. For the price, this is a gem and an experience you won't forget thanks to Jim!

This was the second time I've stayed at Dan's. One night only this time, and very sad to leave. It's a lovely and comfortable room - and so peaceful waking up to the trees and view of the ocean. I will happily book Dan's place again.

The unit was very clean and Roger was quick and friendly in response to questions. Although it was in a neighborhood, the tall fence made it feel very private.

We stayed about a month during a relocation and Joanie was a host after my own heart. The house had thoughtful touches and nice amenities throughout (like heated bathroom floors and towel racks). The beds and bedding were comfy. We loved all the citrus trees and the hummingbirds who came to visit the feeders daily. It was nice having both fenced front and back yards since we have a dog. Joanie was responsive to any questions and a minor maintenance issue. The house is centrally located in a busy neighborhood. The only negatives for us were that we were working from a home a lot and the neighborhood was a bit loud for us during the day (car doors slamming, construction, drummer). But the evenings were quiet for sleep which is the more important thing. We had some trouble with the big dog next door barking at our dog through the fence, but Joanie immediately worked to help improve that situation. Overall, we had a great stay and we appreciated Joanie's flexibility and hospitality.

This is the second time we have stayed at Richard’s place. We love that there are 3 separate bathrooms and also felt safe in the neighborhood. It is close to a gas station, grocery store, and a freeway.

Place was nice and cozy. My friend and I slept well and were close enough to everything we wanted. Host was helpful and communicative about parking and other things. Can’t ask for more.

I stayed at Oscar's place from the 8th August till the 17th of August and I had a wonderful experience. The stay has a lot of fast food restraunts in walkable distance along with easy access to public transportation and a lot of grocery strores aswell. Oscar usually goes to work in the mornings and doesn't come back till late in the night. I had the entire place to myself on most days. I was also treated to a meal from a mexican food truck and also good home cooked steak ! :). I would definitely recommend staying at Oscar's place for an affordable stay.

Place was clean and well located. A nice affordable place to stay for the week. Randy was super available to make sure I had everything I needed!

Everything about Jason's home is spot on. Its a proper SF victorian vibe in arguably one of the best parts of town, esp if youre visiting and want something that feels more like a locals vibe. Nice bed, clean sheets, very quiet at night. I'll be back!

Pros : quiet area. It was overall great for one week stay asking through the area. It was my first time booking a condo on Airbnb but it wasn’t any hassle , you can a parking pass and parking was abundant. The area is very car centric but Livermore center is close. The room was big - it’s a master bedroom. Cons : It would be better to have a freezer/fridge combo. Didn’t really like he sheet texture and the fragrances used in them. If you like TV, it’s there but tiny.

Jason ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Er ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem für San Francisco typischen Haus und hat sehr viel Charme, hohe Decken und viel Tageslicht. Die Lage eignet sich bestens für Ausflüge und Erkundungen in alle Richtungen. Petey ist ein zutraulicher und friedlicher Hund. Wir werden uns noch lange an diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt erinnern.

We loved staying at Jason’s. Beautiful space, easy walk to beautiful parks and shops and plenty of public transport to take you further. Jason’s home is gorgeous and he was really welcoming and helpful. Petey was pretty sweet too. Would definitely stay here again.

I had the most peaceful and charming week at Cathryn's place. 1) It has a stunning view over the whole SF bay with gorgeous sunsets 2) The room is very clean and comfy, I felt right at home 3) The amenities and kitchen are really well cleaned and tidy, and Cathryn works hard to maintain it that way 4) Everything you may need is available, oven, stove, fridge, tea/coffee, washing machine etc.. 5) Cathryn is the nicest person, always a smile on, a kind word to say and a great city recommendation to give Thank you Cathryn for all those moments and talks, they will definitely become great memories. Cannot wait to come back another time!
