Samantha's house was an amazing summer break for me and the family. The house has a gorgeous view out over the town, is very light, spacious with a beachy feel. It is also extremely comfortable, absolutely spotless and very well equipped. We took advantage of Sam's excellent manual to go on a walk to Long Point lookout and eat at Bar Monti and Superette in town. Can highly recommend all of the above!

We had an amazing stay at Sue and Steve’s place in Merimbula! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our baby and dog. The location was perfect - right by the lake and just a short walk to the beach and town. Sue and Steve were responsive and made us feel so welcome. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature, and we’d definitely love to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pet-friendly getaway!

Lovely space, very clean and great location.

We had a great four night stay in Rachel and Tony’s home. The location was close to town and so many stunning beaches and walking spots within a few minutes drive. The townhouse was updated in a modern style, spacious enough for a multi-generational family of five (plus a dog), clean and well equipped. Lots of good takeaway and dining options nearby too. We wish this family all the best with future Air BnB endeavours. They were a delight to deal with.

The BoxHouse met our expectations, The photos do not do it the place justice it’s even more beautiful in person. The design of the house has been well thought out. Everything you need for little quite getaway, comfy bed a fully equipped kitchenette. It’s one of the most peaceful accomodation I’ve stayed at, We made the most of the pizza oven and fire pit whilst outside in nature with only birds around us chirping! Will definitely be back

A great property, close proximity to Tathra overlooking the bush. Very clean and comfortable. Tess was a fantastic host, responded quickly and was extremely helpful. A great place to stay just outside of the "hustle" of Tathra.

A really comfortable house with everything we needed for a lovely beach break. Karen was a really generous host and the house was immaculately clean. Even though the house is older it has been immaculately maintained and had lovely touches everywhere. The only very minor downside is that the house is right on the intersection coming out of the caravan park so was a bit noisy at check out time - but the trade off is that you're so close to the beach with really easy access.

If you’re after a special location away from it all in a gorgeous cottage where the kids can run wild and the kangaroos come to graze in the evenings, this is your place.

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Grateful we could have our dog with us. The deck at the front and enclosed yard at the back were very handy for us to sit with our pooch and enjoy the outdoors safely. Quality fitout and comfy beds with all quality amenities provided were most appreciated. We will definitely be back!

beautiful location with beautiful views of the farmland and valley. 10/10 reccomend staying here. Leanne and Colin were very hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great holiday we had so much fun on the tennis court and in the pool. The house was immaculate, all bedrooms clean, comfortable and great sizes. The combined kitchen, dining room and loungeroom were perfect and functional with the massive very comfortable lounge able to fit us all :) Our pooches also had a great time running around the yard and swimming in the creek a short drive from the house

Probably the best location possible between the ocean and the lake. Home facilities including the pool, barbie and everything you need, coupled with an amazing location for an easy walk to the beach and wharf. Ok it’s not 5 star in terms of brand new furniture, bathrooms and kitchen, but it is comfortable enough for an easy-going family holiday where you can easy wind down at home or outdoors. Peter was easy to reach, but we didn’t need a thing for the whole stay. We had a great time and would recommend for families with children. Thanks again Peter!

Been holidaying for years in Merimbula but this place stands out with it's water frontage and access to the town. Could sit out the front and gaze into the water whist watching the birdlife. Good paths/limited steps needed to get around making it suitable for those with limited mobility. Thanks to the host for a great holiday. PS ..can highly recommend the local oysters...yum

Place was really cozy and fully equipped for the remote area, which was really impressive for the price and location. Luke was friendly and made sure we had all the info we needed even though we a late check-in. We were able to find the place with ease, without much trouble. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone passing by needing of stay, however make sure you've made all arrangements regarding food, as this is more of a camping vibe and there's no local restaurants, cafes or even grocery store around.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

We loved the very spacious apartment which catered well for our needs. It was in a great location and so peaceful whilst being close to amenities and beaches. Our hosts were friendly and made check in easy. The pool was an added bonus to our accommodation. The kids loved the cubby house. Thanks Michael and Janet.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a great stay at Katie's unit. A retro style unit that was precisely as described. We appreciated the willingness of Katie to allow us to bring along our small dog. We really appreciated Katie's willingness to be available if we had any queries.

'The Yurt' was great. It is thoughtfully set up, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything needed, and it was lovely to arrive to fresh bread, and some local produce and goodies in the fridge. The yard was perfect for the dogs and a great space to spend time in the evenings, with the adorable Galloway cows at the fence. The river just at the end of the drive was so beautiful and a pretty special spot for a dip. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone after a relaxing rural getaway.

We absolutely loved our time in Tathra. The house was better than expected, the photos don’t do it justice! We were two families and our pet dog. The kids shared the bunk room and adults each had a nice and comfy large bed in the two other rooms. The home was extremely well equipped with all the appliances we could possibly need, great quality and functional. Beds and linen were really comfortable and also great quality. We loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening watching the kangaroos hop past. Perfect for sunny and rainy afternoons with the large roof area. The house is in a great location being an easy flatish walk to the beach and town. Tathra is our new favourite place to holiday, we will be back!

My family and I (including our dog) had a wonderful stay at Tayla’s house. It’s a lovely, light and bright house with an amazing forest view and it has all the amenities you need. I’d advise you have a car if you’re staying here as it’d make things much easier to get around. Merimbula Main Street was a few minutes drive which had plenty of shops, restaurants activities etc. Then Pambula is about a 15 min drive. Tayla was great and responsive, she allowed us to have an early check-in and late check-out and provided some good recommendations. All in all we had a great stay and I’d highly recommend this Airbnb.

Stunning stay - we will be back! So close to beaches, great walks or the perfect place to chill and eat oysters and watch the waves roll in. Well appointed and super comfy, we had such a relaxing holiday and having our little dog with us was a bonus.

Group of 5 stayed for a wedding. Location was close to town. Super clean, lovely interior decor. Easy check in/out.

Staying at Tim and Merryns was very nice and amazing location if you want to be at the beach or be very close. It was very peaceful and very cozy, definitely recommend staying/booking with Tim and Merryn.

Sally’s place was the perfect house for our friends getaway. The view and sunsets are incredible and our toddlers loved the birds that visited on the balcony. The house is really well setup with two great sized bedrooms upstairs one with ensuite and another with a bathroom opposite and two downstairs, a bathroom with a bath and a playroom filled with toys. Sally provided a high chair and a baby gate so we didn’t need to worry about the stairs and the kids. Sally is a great host. Thanks for having us we hope to come back!
