Lovely spot up in the gold coast hinterland. Kali was thoughtful enough to leave out books and toys as well as suitable plates and bowls for our toddler. Not only this there’s a heap of information provided on the local area which was appreciated and used. It’s evident the amount of effort that has gone into making the cabin as relaxing and self sustaining as possible. Highly recommended.

This is one of those places you want to write an incredible review for - the review it deserves but you don’t want the secret to get out so it doesn’t book out for next time. I cannot fault this place! Waking up for an early morning paddle through the canals to the creek or the surf club for coffee followed by an afternoon by the pool - a perfect day! & if you fish even better - you can enjoy that straight off the pontoon. Absolute bonus - dog friendly with a fully fenced huge yard. Already looking at the next available dates. Perfect location, relaxed cottage with all the facilities you could ask for. Perfect for dogs, kids and adults alike. Two minute walk from the beach, 5 minute drive from all the offerings of Broadbeach and in a quiet residential area away from the gold coast crazies.

Das “Charming Cottage” von Kate ist wirklich ein sehr liebevoll renoviertes ehemaliges Eisenbahner Haus. Die Inneneinrichtung ist top und mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmern ist es geräumig. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist mit Ceran-Kochfeld,Herd, Mikrowelle und Nespresso Maschine komplett eingerichtet. Dazu gibt es noch im Aussenbereich einen großen Gasgrill. Obwohl das Haus in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen ist, geht man nur wenige Minuten zum Broadwater Park und zum nächsten Einkaufszentrum. Unglücklicherweise war unser Aufenthalt während des tropischen Zyklon Alfred, der fast eine ganze Woche gewütet hat und wir konnten mehrere Tage das Haus nicht verlassen; hatten aber trotzdem einen angenehme Zeit verbracht. Kate hat sich aufmerksam um uns gekümmert und eine Notfallausrüstung für den Fall eines Stromausfalls vorbeigebracht, die wir zum Glück nicht benötigt hatten.

This gem of a Queenslander affords the quintessential Australian experience. From the beautiful polished hardwood floors, the high ceilings, the large dining room table separated from the ample living space to the back patio with a table to seat 8, this house has it all. There are plenty of towels, pillows and blankets and ample closet space to unpack and store your luggage out of sight. The kitchen is well appointed- including enough wine glasses for any sized celebration!! - and Fiona has thought of all the daily items that you need. We really appreciated the large bottle of water already chilling in the fridge after our long day of travel as well as the Tim Tams that provided a quick pick me up. For American travelers, you will need to Google French press as there is no drip coffee maker but that just adds to the charm of the house. Easy access to the M1, in a quiet street with a coffee place and a service station within walking distance, Main Beach and Surfers' Paradise <15min.

A fantastic place to stay with our family of 8, Including a 10 week old babe. The room layout meant everyone got space of their own. The pool table was a dream for our wee girl who lives playing with balls, rolling them from end to end was a dream for her. We caught a fish and saw a stingray off the jetty and spent plenty of time in the pool. Having different outdoor areas was fantastic too. Christina was fantastic at communicating and we have decided if we were to come back we would book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Alison’s place. The position was amazing - looking out to the beach and enjoying the view from the veranda was spectacular. Alison was very helpful throughout our stay. There was plenty to do around the area and where the house is situated is very peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks for a wonderful weekend! Rare to find a place with plenty of bedrooms and beds for a group getaway in such a central location, close to beach, breweries, coles, restaurants and more. Pool was lovely, living areas well presented, and in a very quiet neighborhood.

This was a great place for my partner, our in-laws and our 4 dogs to spend Christmas! The highlights were the natural pool, amazing and beautiful garden, the back deck with serene views of mount warning and the Webber for a Christmas smoked ham.

From the moment we arrived we felt right at home and Kate showed us around and were encouraged to just make ourselves at home which we did. There was ample supllies provided. Which was a wonderful surprise. And the beds and pillows were the best i have ever slept on, i wish i had them at home. Thank you Kate.

A very stunning place to relax, swim and explore. I was so impressed with the location and the views. We had beautiful weather which worked out perfect because we could use the pool. I will be recommending this place to family and friends visiting tweed heads.

The house was beautiful and the perfect set up for our group of two young families. It had everything we needed. It’s a great location, within walking distance to cafe, restaurants and the beach and a short drive to the Gold Coast. Anna was very friendly and responsive throughout the whole booking process and helpful during our stay, she even left a little welcome hamper for us which was a nice touch. Unfortunately we did have a little incident with one of the neighbours however this was handled with help from Anna. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Sacres Acres is located in a beautiful valley. There is something to enjoy for all age groups in the property. We had small kids and a toddler. They had lots of fun there. We stayed two nights and kids were sad when we were leaving. Highly recommended.

I didn't want to leave, the moment I stepped inside, everything was calm and peaceful. Bettina is so welcoming and her taste is impeccable, so much better than I imagined. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Acute Abode. It exceeded our expectations, truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It looks exactly like the photos (if not better) and the property is incredibly peaceful and quiet.

Rafael's place is similar to a studio apartment/granny flat. The kitchennete was good. Bed was comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space to avoid clutter. The granny flat had a separate entrance gate even when it is behind the main house. Fully fenced yard and deck at the back. Very good place to stay and not too far to drive to Surfers Paradise. Backyard was great to have for the dogs. We had to go home a day earlier due to the wild weather. He is a very responsive host.

This is one of the best airbnb’s that I have stayed at for a quiet relaxing break. Absolutely spectacular unobstructed views north to south along the coast and from the bed ! A wonderful private little cabin high up on the mountains with everything you need.

Loved it. Can’t wait to stay again. Excellent views of Wollumbin (Mt Warning) that I didn’t notice in the pictures of the house so that was a nice surprise. Loved it here

It was an amazing stay with the best hosts; they went above and beyond and found me a bike to use during my stay! The private studio with the fully stocked kitchen utensils, cutlery, and air fryer was perfect! Really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anything thinking about it!

We found Kelly’s place when we were looking for a refuge during Cyclone Alfred. She couldn’t have been more friendly and accomodating, and made our stay very comfortable under difficult circumstances, bringing us fresh eggs and ice when the power went out. The retreat was lovely and just right for two people and a small dog, with a lovely outlook. I’d love to come back when the weather is better! I highly recommend Kelly’s place.
