Had an amazing time based at Greg’s property! The house itself was fantastic, lots to keep us entertained. The area is beautiful, a short walk to the beach, a BBQ smokehouse within half a mile, and a short hop to the centre of Liverpool. Couldn’t recommend it more, we would happily return in the future. Fantastic house. Really nicely done. It felt very modern, but homely and with personality. Responsive host, comfy beds and sofas and had everything we needed (well stocked kitchen for cooking - pans, etc.). Very easy into Liverpool - we walked the first day and got a taxi home (tenner in a black cab). Would certainly stay again.

Lovely, quirky, feel at home place ! …. We had such a relaxed and happy time at Gala’s place… just felt very homely and had some unique touches … loved it here as a family and really close to the centre of Liverpool

Our stay was great value for money. Stayed with a guest with mobility needs and house was as described in emails. As a host, Di was fantastic. She responded quickly and allowed us a late checkout. The house is spacious and the garden would have been wonderful had the weather been better. Plenty of parking and the food delivery leaflets were most helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again. Thanks for a wonderful stay Di.

Great location, interesting house, homely and very comfortable. Lovely little garden with stream which attracted lots of wildlife. Multitude of kitchen staples available for use and a welcoming bottle of wine! Thank you!

Leah & Thomas are wonderful hosts. From start to finish of our stay communication was great. We needed to extend our stay but unfortunately the place was already booked up (which I am not surprised at) but Leah & Thomas went our their way to help us find accommodation at late notice. Leah & Thomas's place is amazing, spotless, homely, everything we hoped for. Big thank you guys, and hopefully we can get booked in again soon!

The accom is well set out with all the mod cons for a weekend. The communal area outside looked fab but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side so we didn't get to use it.

I stayed at Diane´s for a month, traveling from Kenya, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit I rented was part of the main house but had its own separate entrance, offering privacy and comfort. The beautiful lush, vast garden full of life, peaceful surroundings with horses and birds, lots of different birds, made the experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Chester and lots of renown tourist destination for easy exploring. The hosts were kind and respectful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Hatton Hall for anyone seeking a peaceful , convenient and private countryside escape.

Property was as advertised. Good off-street parking, large garden (perfect for playing with our dog) and the house was clean and had most things we needed. The property is also in a good spot close to shops and restaurants.

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Had a great weekend staying at James and Felicity's place. They were excellent hosts and we really enjoyed the freshly baked loaf and other items in the welcome pack. Hoylake and West Kirby are really easy to walk to and have plenty of nice bars, cafes and restaurants. Look forward to a return visit.

What an absolutely incredible place to stay. Such a peaceful area and a cool place to stay. We were provided with everything we needed for our stay from all cooking equipment, towels, bedding, games and even hot water bottles. There was some really kind touches even for our little dog. Overall a fantastic place which I would love to return to one day!

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

wow, just wow !!!! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Bryan was a superb host, clear, proactive, friendly instructions and guidance. as for the place, well it was perfect. immaculately kept, well furnished, easy to use the hob, oven, shower, hot tub and sauna. lovely little touches too...milk, bread, butter, coffee and tea. We were celebrating my partner's 50th and Bryan had provided some bubbly and put up happy birthday hearts and banners. we would definitely recommend and return. it was perfect. thank you Bryan xx

Absolutely loved our stay at the canal side cabin, will definitely return. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Our daughter loved the playground and all the animals. Thanks to Rod for making us feel so welcome.

This was only a brief stay as a couple with pooch. We don't live far away but felt a de-stress was needed and we love this location. The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was peaceful and cosy, clean and warm, and the hot tub was a great addition with a lovely view. We'd definitely like to return for longer and really enjoy the surroundings and full benefits of a long soak in the hot tub.

Absolutely loved staying here last weekend. It was everything we wanted; peaceful, cosy & relaxing! The space inside is perfect, the bed is comfy, the wifi and Netflix work perfectly. Outside you can feed the alpacas and sheep, which was my perfect Saturday morning! The bath outside was perfect (there’s probably only enough hot water to fill once as I did try top it up but was met with cold water), and it’s private enough so even with other guests in the other lodges you can’t hear/ see them. The hot water is a little iffy but the instructions in the book helped massively as we realised you couldn’t put it on full heat immediately. The only thing I’d suggest is potentially getting an air fryer as we struggled with getting things we could eat without an oven! Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
