Perfect for our use as a base for Alton Towers - only a 25 minute drive away. We had dinner at the Stafford Arms in the nearby village one night and it was brilliant. The Annex itself was very cosy and ideal for our family of 2 adults, a 9 year old and a 1.5 year old. Already planning a return trip!

An absolutely beautiful area to stay, the property itself is spotless and has everything you need to live in. Zero problems with noise and had the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The owners are very friendly and it couldn't have been a better stay, will definitely be booking here again.

It was an incredibly pleasant snd peaceful stay in a cosy, cabin-like space. It was compact and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and communicated everything in a clear and timely manner too. I only stayed for two nights, but if ever I return to Manchester, I'd love to stay again!

Great in every way. Lovely hosts, comfy, cozy, clean and well equipped. Having trees and drying area was a treat. Breakfast goodies much appreciated too! Poynton high street has so many scrumptious cafes and eating places. Would highly recommend.

The perfect Airbnb for anyone looking for a getaway. It has everything you could possibly need, including plenty of games and books to keep you entertained. Located in a private and secluded area, it’s the ideal spot to relax and unwind. The surroundings are beautiful, making walks around the property truly enjoyable. While we haven’t had the chance to meet Mike, Chris is incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to return!

A superb weekend, the hosts were lovely and so helpful, with valuable knowledge about local facilities and amenities. Of particular help was where to eat in the evenings. We visited two local pubs for meals and both were as good as they said; The Shovels and The Stork hotel. The Lodge was so comfortable, clean and in great condition and we had everything we needed. With access to the beautiful gardens, we especially enjoyed watching the hens in the well kept coups and the random ducks paying a visit. And if I didn't know any better I'd say the hosts even ensured the weather was at its best for us!

Perfect location for visiting friends in Lymm and Chester. Super comfy bed and a lovely canal side walk to Lymm. Very easy check in.

We loved our stay. Carol was really friendly and helpful and had provided us with provisions for our arrival. The property totally matched its description.

We had such a lovely stay at Alison and Patrick’s. Stunning location and we were so lucky with the weather which made the views breathtaking. They were really kind and flexible about our check in and check out time which was a great help. And gave super helpful advice about logistics, Conwy Castle is a must see. We had a wonderful few days and hope to come back some time.

We honestly cannot fault this gorgeous stay! I brought a friend away for her birthday and we had the most amazing weekend. Maureen was the best Airbnb host I’ve ever dealt with, very friendly and lovely. Her and Phil heated the hot tub for us on both days of our stay, they left plenty of breakfast bits and milk etc for us, there are games and books, a smart tv to log into your own Netflix etc. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever, I wanted to take it home with me! The shower was super strong which was lovely. Honestly a brilliant lodge to stay in, I cannot recommend enough and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for having us 😊

This is the second time my partner has stayed here for work and we will definitely book again. It is private, quiet, plenty of parking, modern, cosy, super clean and has everything needed for a stay away. Kirsty always sends clear instructions and is always friendly and helpful, top host :-)

What a fabulous property I am amazing setting. Nigel’s property is perfect for the weary traveler and has everything you need. The thought from Nigel about victuals, home comforts and accessibility were second to none. Easy to navigate to thanks to clear instructions, homely and welcoming, it was the perfect overnight pit stop for us (couple plus dog). Couldn’t ask for anything more.

WoW this place is something else! The views alone make you feel so relaxed lol But to top the whole experience off, what a lovely comfy lodge. Fionas place was so cosy and welcoming, we felt right at home! When i saw how equipped the kitchen was i felt like cookng 🤣 Was so impressed! The extra touches were so thoughtful and much appreciated. Guys you have to experience this beautiful part of the uk, its like a hidden gem locked away from the fast pace world! Dont hesitate to book. Not only does this place have stunning views, but you have everything you need to feel right at home. And most importantly a host who really cares about her guests. The only regret i have is i wished we could stay longer lol But im sure we will be back 😊 Thanks Fiona for a lovely stay and going above and beyond with the little extras x

So comfortable and cosy with a view to die for. Peaceful. Hardly saw anyone but knew Guto was on hand to help if needed. Would definitely stay again. Just the best space to unwind.

Fab stay, ideal for a weekend in Chester! Place had everything you could need and more!

The place and Tom were great. Very clean place, comfy bed, nice kitchen, easy to find and to check in and out. Tom was very helpful and responsive all the time, very kind and polite as well. Although there are more rooms and therefore more guests, it was not an inconvenience, very nice place to stay. 100% recommended!! Thanks again, Tom.

Overall a good place to stay if you are in St Helens, the room was spotless. downside for us - the noise was obvious from the road from early morning but likely because we are not used to it. The only other issue was the communal kitchen was messy, dirty dishes on the side and in the sink, so we didn't use this area.

Great for what we needed on short notice. As hosts they were very responsive to our questions. The £100 damages deposit was returned efficiently too. Recommend 👍🏻

Amy’s place was perfect for our stay whilst on a work trip. The space is really cosy, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay whilst we were here. We even had a tech issue with the TV but Amy was really responsive and her husband came to fix it straight away for us! It was close by to a gym, the small gym we were working in for the weekend and shops. Highly recommend!

Clean, tidy, close to everything in the city centre. Good value place to get your head down
