Nous avons loué tout l'etage pour 5 personnes: 3 chambres doubles, une cuisine avec une terrasse fermée, et deux salles de bains. L'appartement est très fonctionel, bien tenu et bien placé. Nous conseillons!

Een prachtig huis op een unieke lokatie met verschillende panorama’s over de meanderende Douro tussen de groene heuvels. Zo mooi gaat het niet meer worden. Casimiro is een enthousiaste host met veel kennis over de omgeving en de historie van Portugal. Zijn welkom was erg hartelijk en hij regelde als verrassing heerlijke tapas. De uitrusting van het huis is goed, in het bijzonder het grote en comfortabele bed.

This is a lovely apartment with parking and elevator. The view from the balcony is stunning! Maria was very sweet and helpful. We had difficulty finding the location and Maria and I did not speak the same language so she had someone call me back that spoke English to help me find the location and answer any questions. Great location, great apartment. highly recommend :)

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

Helga and Mario have a beautiful clean place with incredible views of the Douro River Valley. We had great instructions to get to the home and how to get in with a keyless code. It was raining and cold so we were soaked getting the gate open and getting suitcases inside. There’s a fireplace in the living area and I asked Helga if we could get firewood and within minutes someone arrived with wood and he even built us a fire. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I needed a haircut/ pedicure and Helga made me an appointment with Sonia in the next village of Tabuaço for the day after we arrived, that was wonderful service and kind of her. I was very pleased. Helga gave very good information on things to do in the area and places to eat. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had while traveling. Everything was clean and as stated in the listing. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs if that is an issue but we were told this before we booked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a great stay in Amarante and really loved staying in this Airbnb (despite the weather!). Very central for walking around Amarante, free car park two minutes away and was a great base for exploring nearby vineyards! Thanks João and Débora

very peaceful place. Parking place close to the flat. The historical center and restaurants can be reached by foot along a beautiful walk by the river. We had a great stay at Casa do Moleiro. Thank you Márcia.

We absolutely loved our stay with Guilherme and couldn’t speak highly enough about the home. The view from all over the apartment is unbelievable and every wall has a large well positioned window to discover a new vista. We found it very convenient to lamego, Regua and pinhao, the three towns we wanted to visit. The bathroom was cleaner than that of the Ritz Carlton we stayed at in Sintra. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, which we did several nights so we could enjoy dinner on the magnificent terrace. The pool was well positioned to capture the sun and was always a nice temperature. The washer & dryer worked perfectly. The AC was not needed much because the breeze was so lovely but when we used it, it worked perfectly. The internet was surprisingly strong - I did 90 minute work zoom calls with no struggle. Our host was attentive and thoughtful and kind. Everything that could have been great about a stay was present here and we were sad to leave. We will return!

Acabamos de deixar a casa e já temos saudades. Passamos uns dias muito felizes, com muito bom tempo, o que deu para aproveitar a piscina ao máximo. A casa é bonita, decorada com simplicidade e bom gosto e tem tudo que precisamos para umas férias fantásticas Todas as pequeninas questões que tivemos foram imediatamente resolvidas, não há nenhum motivo de queixa. As nossas cadelas também desfrutaram muito, delirando com a quantidade de gatos que se viam à volta noutros terrenos. Nascer do sol lindo, espaço para sentar, ler um livro e ver o rio Douro, onde vimos passar barcos incríveis. Super recomendo este espaço e anotamos para voltar ainda mais dias numa próxima oportunidade. Obrigada! É um pequeno paraíso ❤️

Antonio was extremely responsive and generous with his time- picking me up at the station and dropping me off, and giving me a lift to the supermarket and to the river beach as I do not have a car and have reduced mobility. For others with mobility issues, I would say that it is quite steep there (which they warned me about) however I did find a couple of nice walks that were doable for me. The nature is exceptionally beautiful: mists rolling over the river, birds of prey gliding overhead, birdsong, the scent of orange blossom… I also enjoyed making a fire in the wood burner in the evening. This is a convenient place to come from Porto as it is just a few minutes’ drive from the train station which is on a scenic route 1.5 hours from the city. Thanks so much for having me!

Thank you Carol for our stay in your beautiful home ! Carol was an amazing host with great suggestions to local restaurants and amenities, the house was super clean and had everything needed for our stay. My only slight negative is that the 5th bedroom wasn’t really suitable for an adult as it was a low ceiling height loft bedroom with small beds and without a door. Again thank you for our stay and we’d love to come back again in the future!

We stayed in Alfredo's place as 5 adults celebrating my mother's 70th birthday. The layout and size of the property was perfect for our group. The setting of the house is stunning, with huge windows to make the most of the beautiful valley view. The location is great, with lots of neighbouring vineyards and just a short walk into town, where there are many lovely restaurants and you can take a boat trip down the river. The house is very well maintained, with all the equipment to make an enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Alfredo & Luis for everything. PS. the opportunity to buy wines and port at the property was a great idea, and at better prices than we'd paid at local vineyards!

Um espaço bom para descansar. Deu para visitar Lamego, a Régua, Pinhão (restaurante Bufete 👌) e o fantástico Mosteiro de São João de Tarouca. Não perder a capela mais antiga de Portugal - São João de Bartolomeu. Tudo impecável.

As others have said, the photos really don’t do the apartment justice - it’s simply beautiful, like stepping back in time to an earlier era. We had a couple of issues which I only mention as they illustrated just how responsive Catarina was - each time I contacted her I had an almost instant reply. The apartment is absolutely huge, it was hard to decide which rooms to spend time in as we unfortunately only had one night. We didn’t use the car space as it would be a very awkward manoeuvre to get the car safely into the parking area. I read a review that suggested entering the drive way, coming downhill which really would be essential. Anyway we found parking only a 100m up the hill from the apartment. Catarina helped us by arranging an early check-in which really helped us make the most of our time. I can’t recommend the apartment or Catarina more highly - we would absolutely stay again.
