Stunning views over the sea and side of Etna. Sunrises at breakfast outside was great way to start the day. Hot tub worked very well and especially useful in shoulder season when cold at night. You need a car to do anything as not much nearby (there is a restaurant but opened too late for us with young kids). Great activity centre for kids 7 mins away. 30 minutes from Taormina which is touristy but amazing. Andrea was brilliant, very helpful and always keen to help. 2 large bedrooms on seperate floors. Great value for money.

Wauw, wauw, wauw. Wat een pracht van een accommodatie. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd, en qua hygiëne niets op aan te merken. De absolute parel van het appartement is zonder twijfel het zalige terras met zicht op Etna. In de buurt ook een enorm fijne markt, alsook enkele fijne restaurants. Qua locatie de ideale uitvalsbasis om enkele hoogtepunten van de streek te verkennen (waarbij Dario je ook met plezier heel wat tips zal geven). De communicatie met Dario verliep eveneens heel vlot. Ik kan het alleen maar ten zeerste aanbevelen! Wij komen zeker terug ;)

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. View of etna is lovely The balcony was particularly lovely to relax on and eat al fresco Well done Fabio

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

Assolutamente perfetto! Ho passato un weekend di massimo relax. La sauna, la vasca idromassaggio, tutto perfettamente funzionante ed efficente. Appartamento spazioso, pulitissimo e pieno di stile e tocco personale. C’è anche un fantastico terrazzino privato. Giuseppe è un ottimo host ed una persona molto cordiale e disponibile. La cucina è fornita di tutto fra utensili da cucina e basilari come sale, olio e altro. Gli affreschi sono abbastanza recenti quindi molto luminosi e creano un’atmosfera molto piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente per qualche altro weekend all’insegna del relax. Grazie ancora di tutto! Dario e Aisha

The penthouse was much more than discribed. Even better than the pictures! Truly a breathtaking relaxing view yet only a few minutes walk to the main part of the town. The stairs are not bad, if you get tired, stop for a second, look around and take in the beauty then continue. Place itself was everything we expected and then some. Big water bottles provided and appreciated along with wine. Will definitely return!

I can’t express how perfect this villa is for a restful holiday with a partner. Situated just above the town (yet just a few mins from everything) it manages to be totally peaceful and private while also in the middle of everything. The garden was lush with wildflowers, lizards, lemon trees and birdsong, the hot tub/jacuzzi a fun addition, and the views were incredible. Watching the sunrise over Italy every morning was pretty special! The bed was very comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. A perfect base for staying in Taormina or exploring other areas. There are a lot of steps so I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with mobility problems or small kids who need a buggy.

We stayed for a week during New Year. With a two families, in total 9 people. Great place and great host. The surroundings and views are beautiful. The property has everything including a lot of fruit trees. You are close to the beach and there is a nice family style bakery and restaurant right around the corner. The house is next to a highway. You do notice at first, but after a couple of hours it’s not a big deal. There was a problem with the electricity but Mauricio handled it well and quickly. He is a great host.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Pina’s accomodation is exactly as advertised. The a/c also has a heating function which was useful in the cold march evenings. The requested baby beds and baby chairs were all ready waiting for our arrival. Because we used Apple Maps instead of google we initially struggled a bit but with Pina’s help we all (3 families) arrived at the beautifull house. Although we were much later than we had said Pina waited for us. With her warm Italian character we immediately felt at home. We did not use the pool since it was March but it is a great addition to the house in the hot Sicilian summers. Also the big terrace at the side overlooking the bay is a great addition. In summer the only reason to leave the premises is to go for shopping.

A casa é muito confortável e bem equipada. Éramos 11 pessoas e ficamos muito bem instalados. A comunicação com o anfitrião foi rápida e cortês. Foi ótima a experiência.

We had a fabulous time at Mario’s place with our two young kids. The place is nicer than the photos. The hospitality was amazing and we appreciated Mario going out of his way to accommodate our late check in. The local recommendations were lovely. We even took Mario’s help to secure some restaurant bookings. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

The villa more than met our expectations. It is a beautiful villa, quiet, with spacious rooms, a large pool and spectacular view of mount Etna. Vera and her team were always available to help and suggest things to do or see in the area (restaurants, boat trips, excursions to the Etna, etc.). I definitely hope to come back. We were with a small group of old friends and spent most of our time at the table next to the pool.

Merci Giovanni pour ce séjour formidable ! Les enfants et nous avons adoré cette maison juste au bord de la plage ! En octobre le climat est très agréable, l’eau de la mer relativement chaude et d’une clarté absolue, et pouvoir profiter de ça depuis la maison est extraordinaire ! La maison est grande, bien équipée, propre, et Giovanni et sa famille disponibles pour assister. Merci à eux.

Vi var en familie på 8 som hadde en uke på Villa Respiro. Denne uken glemmer vi sent. Alt var perfekt, bedre enn bildene! Kan varmt anbefale alle å besøke denne plassen. Nært Taormina der vi brukte flere dager og kvelder. Vi nøt også mange dager og kvelder i Villaen, det var helt magisk. Kan anbefale å stå opp tidlig minst en dag å få sett soloppgang, det var en opplevelse😍 Alle var enig om at vi gjerne kommer tilbake hit! Takk for oss Sicilia og Villa Respiro❤️
