Great stay, everything clean, plenty of room for 8 ladies getting ready, cooking and socialising. Only one small hitch for us was that the garden is very shaded with lots of tall trees which is great for privacy but did mean it was quite cold in as was shaded from the sun and the fire pit wasn’t working. Owner was very helpful and quick in responding that maybe previous guest had left the gas open and it had ran out and did say they would pop round and replace it but it was Sunday evening and we wouldn’t have been using it for long anyway would have just been nice to have dinner in the garden on the last night.

As a family of 4 including two tweens needing to get off their gadgets, we have LOVED this stay. The views and comfort of the house are phenomenal. As well as sightseeing, we made time just to chill at the house and enjoy time at the reservoir away from it all. This was made possible because the hosts have literally thought of everything and the layout of the house is brilliant for socialising together. The bedrooms are super comfy, the kitchen has everything and there are some nice perks like the log fire, underfloor heating and unbeatable views that just make the house so enjoyable to be in. We took mountain bikes and glad we did, there are endless well kept trails for walking and cycling right from the door and a great park for kids within a healthy walking distance. Communication and information provided were fab, and we will go back for sure!

The house is just perfect, spacious and all you could need. We were 2 families and there was plenty of space for adults and children. We has a small problem with the heating, but it was resolved super fast and Christian and Andrea were helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and the AGA is amazing to cook on and keep warm. Would 100% recommend this home and the hosts. Thanks for a fab stay.

Bit of a run down area but actual house is good once inside . If driving very handy for beach,shops,restaurants etc Overall it was a great stay and everything in hose worked well.

A fantastic cottage and a real find! A great location for exploring Northumberland. The cottage was spotless and really roomy. A beautiful log burner for cosy nights. The furniture and beds were super comfy. The kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub is massive and very welcome after a days walking. Mark and Rhiannon should be really proud of this cottage and I would highly recommend and will definitely look to return when next in Northumberland!

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

We had a lovely time at Murton Farm. There were loads of games for the kids to play in the garden and they enjoyed exploring the huge house. Bedrooms were nice and big. There were plenty of spaces for everyone to spread out, but equally the living spaces were big enough with enough seating for everyone to gather at once and socialise. The hot-tub was a welcome treat after days out with the kids!

the flat was exactly like the photos. very clean and full of equipment. easy to station and city center. Gabrielle is very helpful.

A beautiful quiet self contained space within easy walking distance of the town. Sara was friendly and welcoming, her homemade cookies were amazing, and I appreciated the beautiful flowers 😊 Thanks, it was exactly what I was looking for and I'd definitely stay again 😊

Last minute decision to have a night away and Toms place was spot on! Perfect peaceful location, the annexe is gorgeous with everything we could need. The hot tub was dreamy even in the drizzle as the sun went down over the fields. Tom was a great host firing up the hot tub for us and recommending the fabulous Crown Inn for a great dinner! Thank you!

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and the location was great for walking into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth centre.

Safe, quiet location easy to find. Exactly as description - minor issue with heating sorted within 30 mins - very responsive host

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Lovely little stay amongst the trees. Felt nice to get a little off grid and back to nature. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed, Sarah our host was fab with communication and helped us with extra wood etc when needed. We saw lots of lovely bird life and my partner lucked out seeing three deer in the woods by our place!

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotless clean. The hot tub was great and the option to add a sauna session is highly recommended, the views are amazing! The stay is perfect for relaxation. Anthony was very responsive and gave us some nice tips for local outings through their online guide. He also showed us how to operate the woodfire hot tub with the provided logs, which was very helpful. The only issue we had was how close the cabins were to each other. Our "neighbours" didn't abide by the rule of no outside music and played rave songs on loud, spoiling the advertised tranquility a bit but this was not the host's fault. We would definitely come again but will try to book a quieter time of the year or ask for a cabin at the very end of the site.

This cabin is just beautiful! Allison is so responsive prior to and during your stay and Jonathan made the check-in so easy with clear instructions for the hot tub and excellent recommendations of local things to do 😊

A really enjoyable couple of days away in a beautiful glamping pod. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The welcome basket was a lovely touch

From the start of our mini break Helen was in contact, she left instructions in getting into the accommodation and greeted us when we got there to say hello and show us around. the second day we were there both my children fell ill, unfortunately some bedding was marked due to my daughter being sick during the night. I asked if there were a local Dry cleaners to get the bedding washed and Hele was straight to the rescue! she bright fresh bedding and took away all the dirty ones. She did this twice for me while the children were poorly. Helen then checked in to ask how the kids were which was just such a lovely gesture! We have loved our time and highly recommend this beautiful cabin and Helen! thank you ❤️

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Deer lodge. The hot tub was lush, private and easy to work! Gillian met us as soon as we got out the car and she was so warm and friendly, extra bonus points because she had a border collie like ours! Her husband Ray was so extremely helpful. The lodge itself was in a lovely setting, seeing all the wild life and the lodge was pristine, had all the necessary amenities! We literally could not fault the place! We look forward to returning! :-D
