This was our second stay at Alessandra’s Casa sul di Mare. We have only done the same AirBnB at this special place since traveling. It is the best location for the view and allows our daughter to play all day on the beach while we can see her right from the room. It has the best restaurants within a block and entertainment. It is historical and makes you feel like you transported back in time. Alessandra is a beautiful host and had the best recommendations for Cefalu. She was very helpful when our daughter was not well and offered to arrange for her to see a doctor. Only in Sicilia do you have such compassion and welcoming hosts like Alessandra. Grazie mille ci vediamo l'anno prossimo!

Die Unterkunft war perfekt, alles wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Die Kommunikation mit Guiseppe war super, er hat uns vor Ort alles gezeigt und war jederzeit erreichbar. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Nagyon örülök hogy ezt a lakást választottam mert meg felelt minden igénynek és tiszta és kényelmes volt. Ha meg erre járok biztosan Anna lakást választom.

Die Zeit bei Stefania war wunderbar. In Mondello hat uns alles erwartet, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Das Wetter war toll und wir konnten baden, sehr gut essen und auch wandern und Sightseeing war möglich. Palermo ist mit dem Bus unkompliziert und sehr regelmäßig zu erreichen. Nach gut drei Stunden Fahrt waren wir am Etna. Eine rundum gelungene Woche.

Wij zijn 6 nachten in het appartement van Giselda en Colin geweest. Heel fijn dat we werden opgewacht bij het tankstation beneden, zodat we achter hen aan naar boven konden rijden. Prima appartement, met terras waar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt. De zee is hemelsbreed maar 800 m maar zonder auto is het zwaar. Wij reden naar beneden waar we via een pad een leuk klein strandje bereikten met uitzicht op Cefalú. Appartement is goed geoutilleerd.. we hebben niet gekookt maar alles is er om dat wel te doen. Vaatwasser en wasmachine zijn er wat erg fijn was. Naast Cefalú zijn er veel mooie plaatsten te bezoeken die moeite waard zijn, waaronder: Castelbuono, Santa Stefano di Camastra, Castel di Tusa en andere. Zeker aan te raden

If you are looking for a centrally located flat (in the old town, literally on the beach), this is it. The view from the balcony is spectacular. We self-catered for a month for 2-3 persons, and the kitchen functioned well enough. Margaretha was an excellent host. She answered our questions promtly and was forthcoming with all requests. She provided us more information on our topics of interest than the tourist information offices all together.

A delightful, warm , helpful and friendly host. The property was a good size, tidy and well decorated. The location was perfect as you could walk to the beach , restaurant and amenities in no time . Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

This is a great apartment, with a perfect location - on the seafront, a few minutes walk to the sany beach, and surrounded by many restaurants / bars / shops. Everything you could need is included with this Airbnb, and the off street parking is a real bonus. On our next return to Mondello, we won't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Für eine gute Auswahl an Läden und Restaurants ist das Auto nötig.

We just enjoyed a week in Florianas slice of heaven at the start of march, and it was perfect for us with our 2 year old son. The beach house is wonderful, the facilities such as the lovely heated pool and hot tub, and the washer/dryer and kitchen were both fun and super helpful! The cot was also ready for our use which was perfect. We liked the location a lot, but we were very grateful we had our own car to drive to all of the other fun. Floriana was an amazing host, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable! She had lots of really helpful recommendations and was very communicative with us. Would easily recommend to anyone.

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Obwohl unser Flug viel Verspätung hatte , haben Giusi und Stefano bis 2 Uhr nachts auf uns gewartet, um uns persönlich zu empfangen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und sie standen antworteten auf Fragen immer direkt. Die Wohnung war super gelegen ( Strand , Restaurant und Café direkt vor der Tür) , wir konnten vor dem Haus parken. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und der Balkon ist sehr schön und groß. Es hat alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht ☀️

Samuele’s place is definitely a surprising delight to my trip. 1. Samuele was so considerable by telling me the house only got 1 aircon and allow me to choose whether to stick to my plan, turns out the room was quite cozy and the extra blanket was super warm so we didn’t feel cold at all. 2. Samuele’s father was so kind to help my mother with her luggage, he carried the luggage all the way up the hill to the house which was a long way to go, and our luggage was heavy… tbh that was so gentleman of him and both me and my mother were touched. 3. When Samuele’s father knew Cefalù is our last stop, he was so kind and generous to allow us to keep our luggages in the house for couple of hours more so we don’t need to worry about storage and got maximum flexibility for our schedule. 4. They also gave the exact location of free and safe parking lots advice. 5. The room was very clean and much better than from the picture. Big, delicate, feel right at home. Super recommend. Thank you both!

Lovely homely feel to this house with direct access to a stunning golden beach. Everything you need for a super laid back beach holiday with the amazing flower terrace overlooking the sea our personal favorite. Some very good restaurants nearby but we just loved to have a drink, light up the bbq again and just enjoy the spectacular sun sets!

Wir, 3 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager, haben den Aufenthalt in Robertos Haus in vollen Zügen genossen. Haus, Pool und Gartenanlage liegen auf verschiedenen Ebenen und geben dem gesamten Komplex einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist grandios, der Abstieg ins Meer über eine Leiter ebenfalls. Wir wurden von verschiedenen Fischschwärmen begrüßt. Schnorcheln vor der "Haustür" lohnt sich! Wir danken Roberto für die hervorragende Betreuung während unseren Aufenthaltes und schicken herzliche Grüße nach Sizilien

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Paolo. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll gestaltet und für einen Urlaub als Paar absolut empfehlenswert, mit mehr Personen stelle ich es mir etwas eng vor. Der “Strand” am Haus ist leider nicht wirklich benutzbar, aber der Blick von der Terrasse macht das definitiv wett.

Une des meilleures si ce n’est LA meilleure location que j’ai faite sur AIR BNB. Leti a vraiment été super accueillante et très utiles dans ses conseils et ses propositions de services annexes (transport aéroport, bagages, etc.) L’appartement est idéalement situé en front de mer dans le Mondello historique dans un coin très calme. Il est vraiment spacieux et fonctionnel et très bien orienté (le soleil le matin sur le balcon, c’est le rêve) avec une vue sur la baie 😍. Si je reviens à Mondello, c’est sur je rappelle Leti !

We absolutely loved our stay at Antonio’s place. The location is perfect, if you want to be in the center of town. The views are incredible; looking on to the Piazza del Duomo. The apartment is very roomy and decorated with original watercolor paintings, historic prints and unique personal touches. The beds were a bit firm for us, but the living room furniture was comfortable with natural light from the small terrace, where we ate meals and watched people below. The Duomo pastry shop down the street was perfect for a relaxing cappuccino in the sunny piazza. We loved the relaxed feel of the town and residents. Antonio was an awesome host, accommodating our requests and offering great suggestions for restaurants; always responding very quickly to our needs. We would highly recommend Antonio’s place to other travelers.

One of the best places and experiences we've had in our Italian travels around Sicily which overall a great pleasure and offered plenty of diversity & variety. Exceptional hosting & incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. The place is state of the art in terms of functionality, cleanliness, amenities - in reach to charming walks. Very close to the sea, perfect for a sunset passeggiata.

Francesco’s place was perfect for our stay in Cefalù. He was very responsive to any questions we had. The view from the rooftop might just be the best in Cefalù. The airbnb was decorated beautifully with loads of Sicilian character. We really appreciated the comfortable beds as we have experienced quite the opposite at different airbnb stays in the past. If we find our way back to Cefalù, we would definitely stay here again.

Angela war eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Kommunikation mit Angela war sehr angenehm und einfach. Sie empfiehl uns für den Abend direkt unten am Strand die Pizzeria aufzusuchen, diese war wirklich top und sicherlich die beste Pizza des gesamten Urlaubs! Die Wohnung und die Terrasse gefiel uns sogar besser wie dies von den Fotos ersichtlich war. Es war sehr sauber, die Küche war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Ebenso das Bad, welches auch über eine Waschmaschine verfügte. Rundum war es eine super Wohnung mit einer tollen und ruhigen Lage, wenige Meter vom Zentrum Balestrate entfernt. Ebenfalls war es toll, dass die Wohnung weniger Meter vom Strand entfernt war, sodass man mit einem Bier oder Wein auch mal einen schönen Sonnenuntergang am Strand genießen konnten. Sollten wir uns nochmal für ein paar Tage in Balestrate entscheiden, würden wir nicht zögern und sofort gerne wieder bei Angela in der Wohnung unterkommen!

Perfect stay! The accommodation is amazing, and the views from the pool are unreal. Paola and Angelo are very welcoming and friendly. We will certainly miss the morning sweet treats that were left for us! The apartment is walking distance to Mondello bay where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We had a hire car and there was space to park this at the property. Our only complaint - that we didn’t stay longer!
