First of We have stayed at many Air B nBs this was our favorite by far! Once you see the view first thing in the morning you won’t want to leave! Our host was wonderful and I certainly felt like we were in good hands! She even has the most informative card on the kitchen counter with all the info you need! We will definitely be back with friends! The place is so pretty and built to entertain! We had a blast collecting shells too!

Everything was superb and as advertised. Maria was in constant contact with me and made everything so easy and accommodating. This could be our new go to vacation place since we usually travel 16 strong.

Our 2nd time here and it was just as amazing as the first time. Amazing and responsive host with all the amenities you would need for a nice beach vacation. Great location and safe. We will be back.

We were gobsmacked with how beautiful the location was - two sides of windows looking out over the ocean and privacy for a mile in each direction (with the exception of the unit next door). The apartment is comfortable but not luxe, Sisal is charming but a very small town (you should absolutely get your groceries in Merida), and the rutted road out to the house makes navigating the Mars rover look easy, but it’s all worth it for the serenity you have once you’re there. Plus Marcia and her family are gracious, proactive hosts!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house hosted by Sonia and Rene, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sonia, Rene and their exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The property itself is stunning. It is beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Every room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Rene and Sonia for being such wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made our stay truly special. They were always available to provide suggestions and recommendations for our trip. And a special thank you to our Chef Rangel by far best chef I’ve had in all my trips.

great location. quiet location near the beach but very walkable to town. comfortable and spacious. very comfortable bet and soft sheets.

Nous étions en famille avec 3 jeunes enfants. La maison est très agréable, sur une plage de sable fin, au calme. Merida est toute proche et offre plusieurs visites intéressantes notamment le musée du monde maya.

Nice clean home with everything I needed. It was well maintained and enjoyed my stay. It was close to a few restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to other good restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Marissa was a great host. She took care of all our needs and more! She helped us with a lagoon boat tour, private taxi to/from Cancun, restaurant recommendations, and more! We had a great time and would highly recommend this place (and Marissa as host) to anyone to expereince a wonderful stay in Bacalar!

Everything was incredible! Beautiful rooms, clean, the razor is very cool to have because you can go freely close by.

Our entire stay was amazing here! We used the massage therapist and also their chef to make our trip even more relaxing. Was a little disappointed the jacuzzi never worked for us, but hopefully they can get that fixed soon. I’d definitely go back! All of the staff here (there’s someone available 24 hours) we’re amazing and respectful, made it much more enjoyable

Pepe ha sido muy amable con nosotros y el lugar es una maravilla, la casa da sobre el lago, está ubicada antes de las infraestructuras más turísticas, lo que permite descansar y bañarse con toda comodidad. La pequeña bajada es un poco difícil en auto por las piedras, pero Pepe nos ayudó a cargar y bajar las maletas con su camioneta, muy lindo! El pueblo también tiene pequeños restaurantes muy ricos y tienditas para comprar sin ir hasta Bacalar centro. Un lugar muy recomendable e ideal para una familia o un grupo de amigos!

Me gustó mucho la privacidad, la naturaleza y a su vez la comodidad de estar aquí. Tengan en cuenta ir preparados con comida, bebida, etc. porque si está un poquito retirado y el camino para entrar es terracería, pero de ahí en fuera todo excelente. Definitivamente volveré!

Agradecemos mucho a Rafael y a su espacio nos brindo un lugar muy bonito para relajarnos y tener un excelente fin de semana. La laguna estaba increíble, un muy buen clima para hacer diversas actividades, sin duda volveremos a ir.

The place is newly remodeled but still not ready for its use. It needs some kind of heating system as well as AC, and it begs for a TV. The water and electrical installations failed without a chance to service them because it was late evening. However, Jose Luis offered us another house nearby which was much bigger and in a supreme location and all the problems and concerns vanished. We spent a very relaxing and pleasant time knowing that our host would be a phone call away in case anything happens. This is the kind of service that promotes and boost the business and so we will definitely come back.

Todo excelente, tuvimos un inconveniente con la puerta de un baño, se cerró y no había llave en la casa, tuvo que ir la encargada de la casa a abrir la puerta y nos cobró un cargo por ir, estaria bien dejar un juego de llaves de toda la casa. Como mejora estaría bien tener un pequeño muelle para abordar las lanchas y kayak, ya que te ensucias de lodo al ponerlas en el agua. En términos generales todo bien.

Leo and Brenda were amazing hosts! They truly went over and above to make our stay incredible. Fran’s meals were delicious and Juan and Dalia were super helpful. We pretty much agree with all the other amazing reviews. The road is difficult. We made a point to reserve and confirm an SUV through EasyWay rental car but when we arrived late at night they only had a passenger car that made our trip much more challenging. 100% not an issue with this amazing Airbnb but do yourself a favor and if you are renting a car, triple confirm that is is an SUV. I don't think you will need 4x4 or AWD but you will need the ground clearance of an SUV or similar. Thanks for an amazing stay!

100% recomendado, fue fácil llegar a la casa, la sra. Celia es muy amable y amigable Ami familia y Ami nos gusto mucho el lugar. todo estaba limpio y ordenado sin duda volveríamos ir 😊 y recomiendo mucho la playa costa del sol la comida es deliciosa, el lugar hermoso y limpio.

El lugar nos encantó, es para una escapada a desconectar en la ciudad. Muy recomendable

As the description says, this is a tranquil place to get away from it all. It's off the grid, no nightlife or food scene, just natural beauty. If you have 4WD, there are great beaches to explore. Bebo was a great host, I will return!

Todo súper bien, desde mucho antes María Bárbara se comunicó con nosotros para detallarnos lo que podíamos encontrar en el alojamiento y lo que tendríamos que llevar lo cual fue súper conveniente para nuestra planeación, el lugar es mucho más bonito de lo que de alcanza a apreciar en las fotos, fué una estancia muy tranquila y agradable. Super recomendado

Una cabaña de 10. El eco-turismo perfecto con muchos detalles que te ayudan a tener una estancia única. Falta coordinación en las personas que manejan la reserva y hay inflexibilidad con check in y out. Cada hora adicional la cobran.
