Perfect property for groups. This house was wonderful for our family group. We made use of the kayaks and enjoyed family meals on the deck. Everything was as listed. Beautiful location, we'd love to come again

David was very welcoming and the Airbnb well provided with utensils for serving larger number of guests but not only that included games and entertainment. Was even very welcoming with offering to use some fresh vegetables on site, overall the place was beautiful and was a very peaceful stay .

Beautiful home to stay in, very well-appointed kitchen, everything you needed was there, the whole house was spotlessly clean, felt right at home. Comfortable beds and lounges, great area to sit outside and view the lake and relax. Great location and would definitely stay there again. Mia responded quickly to any requests for information and I thank her for making her home available to enable us to enjoy our stay in comfort.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Beautiful location and space! Worked well for our group of 8 people and everything was really clean on arrival. Nice and easy to pop to the lake and close to some lovely beaches :) really good deal too! Would have been good to have had sheets provided and some aircon in the main space as it was very warm the week we stayed, but other than that would highly recommend! Thanks

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

We loved our stay at Lemon Tree Cottage. This gem is not only comfortable, clean and new, but Julie is a fantastic host. The cottage had everything we needed and more! It is so well stocked and Julie has been very thoughtful in what is provided to guests. We really enjoyed how peaceful the area is and we loved enjoying a delicious coffee in the backyard. I can’t fault a single aspect of our stay and we hope to visit again soon. Thank you so much Julie!

Lisa's place is absolutely amazing, the views are gorgeous the house was clean spacious & the beds were comfortable. The kids had a blast with fishing & kyaking with so much to explore. The local seafood shop was so fresh, We really enjoyed our stay. Lisa was an awsome host thank you for a wonderful stay

Well... It's been a great few days, but as they say "All good things must come to an end". What a gem in the mountains, "Valley Views" Cottage in the Moparrabah area, about an hour west of Kempsey. Nice and remote, quiet and tranquil. Cottage was spacious, very well maintained and clean. The bed was Heavenly - so comfortable, neither of us have slept so well in a long time. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing, with many places to sit and take in the wonderful scenery. Samantha was a great host, and was always eager to help. She was always responsive to messages. Patersons Skywalk was a lovely location overlooking the river valley and train line. Short walk into Paterson. Enjoyed dinner in the Paterson pub. Great place to stay for a couple of nights

We know this lovely area fairly well and had just cleared out our place nearby prior to settlement of its sale. Steve's place was a lovely place to stay after we had cleared ours out and it just suited our needs. We intend staying again as we will still be visiting close family in the area from time to time and Steve's place ticks all our boxes.

Hidden Gem! a beautiful cottage in nature with all the amenities and air conditioning. the pet barriers on the verandah were such an added plus. Beds were super comfy and artwork was beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin by the river! The peaceful setting, complete with a private pool, made it a perfect retreat. The kids especially loved sleeping in the cozy loft, which added an element of fun to their stay. The cabin’s decor was warm and inviting, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the layout was functional and well-organized. It’s clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining the property—it was beautifully presented. We would highly recommend this gem for a relaxing family getaway!

This place is fantastic. Spectacular views, everything you need and really appreciate the larder basics that Christian and family provide, resort facilities great fun with kids and plenty to do both at Eaglereach and beyond. We hope to stay again some day. Thanks!

We had a great time. Louise from the start was helpful. Property is so beautiful and peaceful, away from civilisation I would say. Perfect getaway if you want to relax for a few days. House was clean and very cosy. Would definitely recommend and come back again ☺️

We had the best time at the Banksia cottage, and it was the perfect getaway. The cottage is absolutely adorable—immaculately clean, well-appointed, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views were breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop for our mornings and evenings. A definite highlight was the brand-new swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed—it added such a luxurious touch to our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape. Thank you, Suzie, for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin in a quite tranquil location.

Had a brief but beautiful stay at the cottage! I didn’t want to leave! A cosy, pristine, private and comfortable place to rest and rejuvenate. Liesel was incredibly communicative and helpful with my eta changes.. and the beautiful bath, fresh chicken eggs, coffee and milk made me feel too spoilt! An absolute hidden gem, and down the road from the yummiest coffee and sourdough toasties Steam and cedar. Can’t wait to come back and thank you again!!
